Season 10 Spoilers, Speculation and Social Media
xwordfanatik replied to Galloway Cave's topic in Sister Wives
I've used that time-honored saying myself, a time or several. Along with that, my Mr. Xword has told me the meaning of FNG, which, since I worked with mostly ex-military men at a blue-collar job, I heard also. I always try to figure out acronyms before I look them up. I'm pretty good at it, since as my screen name indicates, I do crossword puzzles every day. I like to think that it keeps my old brain working. -
I always think of thingks later, when I read other posts! Sorry if I miss other similar posts, I'm old.. Kootie saying "I fill like a soldier going to war." Seriously? How in the holy hell would he even say that, with at least one son in the military? Fuck you, Kootie. As the wife of a war veteran, you have no idea who you offended with that stupid fucking statement. Honestly, I hope even with a SludgePudge weddingk in the future, TLC pulls the plug on this phony overdone show.
-
MFM, it would be fantastic if you could do an alternate version of Pudge's posts, the way you do with Strife with Janelle! If not, I'll keep enjoying Strife. So LOL funny 🙂
-
Why, why, why did Kootie make all those sexual-sounding innuendos about his sure-to-be disappointing "package" with his own daughter? To be filmed, yet? What a freaking asshole.
-
Dear Pudge: doing poses and having greasy hair does not qualify as inspirational, if that's what you're going for. Gawd, she really does think way too highly of herself.

Yes! The Baby Boomers, which Mr. X and I belong to, were thought of as spoiled by many in the Greatest Generation, since post-WW2 kids were actually allowed to enjoy being teenagers, when our Depression Era parents worked from the time they were children. SludgePudge have no idea of how they are really nothing special. These entitlement brat types are something else.

The Winders: Kermit/Colton and the Muppets, Sophie and Tami
xwordfanatik replied to Scarlett45's topic in Seeking Sister Wife
Kyanight, I too appreciate your perspective, because you know about the polygamist life firsthand. It's interesting to me, just because it's so different from anything I grew up with. I watch shows about Scientology for the same reason. The Winders: did Kermit get a revelation from God when he was already married? I know good & well that I would have divorced if that had happened to me. Nope, the sister wife thing would be nothing I would want. -
Dammit, Meri, stop stealing Truely's clothes! Will she ever tire of wearing way too small clothes? Like that green "commitment ceremony" disaster? Honey, you ain't ever gonna be a size 10 again. Dill with it.
-
Great post! I love Truely especially since Kootie was too busy courting Queen Robyn to be there for her. I'm surprised he even showed up at the hospital when T was born. If the film crew hadn't been there, he might have decided to skip the whole thing. And when T had kidney failure, Aspyn was the one that was crying, and she probably worried herself sick. Anyway, your analysis of this episode is spot-on.

Prairie dogs are kind of cute. Meerkats are adorable. I loved that show! Moving to the Serengeti would be a little impractical, though! As someone posted upthread, I'd be more worried about hantavirus, but thinking about the plague is scary enough to make me say no to that property. Just snarking. I'm sure FT isn't qualified to advise anyone about anything financial. I'd sure ignore anything he said!

Robyn Brown: She wanted the family, but got stuck with the man.
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Same here. Wineries abound in my area of WA. -
Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Yes, and when Janelle's self-care isn't enough, we mere mortal monogamists can take lessons from Pudge's fantastic ideas about self-care, which she lovingly posts. So DEEP. -
Well, Queen Robyn has decreed she's planting Kootie's feet for good, this time. She has an iron grip on his balls, and will squeeze them whenever he dares to get an idea that differs from her own. Yep, the know-nothing "banker" FT has to be advising them, with all the stupid mistakes they're making. Of course, since Meri will be forever on Kootie's shit list, her ideas about the move, which I agreed with (for once!) are quickly shot down.

Was there ever an uglier kitchen than the McGees have? Those green cabinets make me want to puke. Hmm, I suppose the same sentiment could be said of Fibber McGee and Molly. They're nauseating.
-
Oh, I have to disagree. Barbara Parkins is/was beautiful. Remember Valley of the Dolls? Robyn couldn't hold a candle. Robyn reminds me of Alice on the Brady Bunch. Or Margaret Hamilton, the Wicked Witch of the West.
-
Kootie took a page right out of Big Love here. The three wives in that show shared a backyard, and more than once got in each others' business. The running for office in Utah? Same thingk. He only listens to Robyn. The others can just "suck it up." He'll be lucky if he doesn't end up on a Snapped episode.
-
Another thought: how did Janelle go from, "I'm not gonna pull Gabriel out in his junior year" to, "I'm emotionally invested in this property." Did she get extra visits from Kootie? Or, even more likely, did she let another wife/wives have her night, and get to skip a boinking? I know, I'm awful. Mr. Xword dills with me just dandy. A sometimes sick sense of humor does wonders for a 40+ year marriage!

Only with a man, it's called a "bro." Fitting, as FT's wedding attendants were dubbed "bros-men." LOL

S02.E07: Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?
xwordfanatik replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in Seeking Sister Wife
He manspreads just like that asswipe Drew Briney. Why, why, why do these sheeple wives keep buying into this patriarchal bullshit??? It's fascinating and utterly revolting, at the same time. -
Ack! I'm in WA, and would not want Kootie and the Gang as neighbors. LOL, his stupid topknot. He is revolting.
-
I haven't read all the comments yet. Just now watching the shower set-up. Robyn is fanning herself, IMO, because she's lying through her teeth about everythingk. I worked for a woman that did that fanning thing when we (the workers) knew she was lying. Her neck would even get red. Robyn is such a bitch! Yes, indeed, utility costs can really cost. We had most of our front yard dug up many winters ago to replace the sewer line, and it was major money. These people are idiots X 100. Forgot to mention: was there ever a shittier looking recliner than the one Kootie was sitting in? Gawd, at least throw something over the bald areas!

Season 10 Spoilers, Speculation and Social Media
xwordfanatik replied to Galloway Cave's topic in Sister Wives
The Brown Clowns and realistic cannot appear in the same sentence. It's the snarker's law. Or something. They think very highly of themselves, and a lowly monogamist like me can't relate. -
I'm hoping not. Aspyn seems like a lovely and caring young woman. It'll be sad should she go along, if and when Mitch decides that he has a testimony or whatever the man says, when he just HAS to take another wife. Meri caved to Kootie's desire, and we see how terribly that's worked out for her. Who knows? Meri may have been a nice person once upon a time.
-
The one next to mom in the turquoise striped horror that is LuLaNO, is the one that Pudge resembles. Pudge better be careful of that avocado toast, or she'll be aunt whoever in no time. Oh yes, Meri the Z-list celeb, gets special privileges in the B & B that she bought ON HER OWN! How very wonderful for her.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I think you're on to somethingk there!
