  1. lol! Ed Green & Lennie Briscoe are one of my favorite L&O partnerships. As a British detective show fan, I loved Sean’s interview and enjoy the same shows he mentioned. I wish Mattea would have bet it all in FJ, or within a few thousand $$. She’s always saying she wishes she had wagered more on her DDs so here was her chance. She couldn’t lose the game, had already won over $200k, and doesn’t know a world without the internet. I have to say that her little quirks are starting to annoy me, but I’m extremely impressed by her knowledge.
  2. I couldn’t get past denta and guessed Denali, which is wrong on so many levels that it doesn’t even qualify as a guess
  3. They also look less alike than the other set. I have identical twin girls that age so things like that jump out to me. We also did mani/pedis for their last birthday party.
  4. She either needs to wear a bra or needs a better one. It was extremely noticeable yesterday because she wasn’t wearing a jacket or cardigan as she had in her other games. Still noticeable then, but not as obvious.
  5. Wasn’t Leah Askey romantically involved with one of the investigators? I’m surprised that didn’t come out in the mini-series or Dateline.
  6. Jerry Orbach as Lennie could make the most mundane line a work of art.
  7. Calling that Nick is the new landlord. Prefacing this with I realize that Welcome To Flatch is a scripted show (for those who are not familiar it is a mockumentary), but a crossover between a traditional sitcom & a “reality” show sitcom is weird to me. It would be like the Dunder Mifflin gang stopping by for coffee.
  8. I ran a 10k this morning I deserve this (all 3 of them!!!)
  9. 4/5 with * For Monday I immediately thought of some form of bovine, but when I switched tact to thinking of popular 3 letter words of last year vax immediately came to mind. Then I remembered the cow-smallpox vaccine connection. Tuesday was an instaget but it took me a few seconds of back & forth Thursday as to whether Henry VIII’s widow was Catherine Howard or Catherine Parr. Luckily I went with Parr. I didn’t think Spike Lee was correct because although I do remember him being affiliated with the movie (I think he calls them joints) but didn’t realize it was his first Oscar win. But I had no idea who else it could have been. I said American Revolution for Wednesday. Reese’s pb eggs for all!
  10. Before I worked at my current company, the office manager was embezzling funds and using his company credit card for personal expenses. He didn’t pay at least one tax bill which resulted in a lien & fines, and longtime vendors weren’t getting paid. He was caught and there were basically no repercussions. He lost his check writing privileges & no longer has his own credit card (but will be provided a card as needed in order pick up lunch, coffee, etc for the office). He also got a raise and a higher % of the business because the owner figured he would only do this if he needed the money 🙄 Oh, and she bought him a BMW but when owner decided they needed to upgrade she bought him a Tesla and the BMW went to his daughter. Insurance all paid of course, and she had the building install a charging station for his Tesla. And she told a co-worker that embezzler is the only one who is not expendable, and that he is the only one in the office who has job security. Nuts right? Owner & manager have a long personal history (not romantic) so for whatever reason he can pretty much do as he pleases. It’s all supposed to be hush-hush, but my co-workers filled me in prior to me starting there. We’ve also had various internal clients based in our office for the past 6 or 7 months working on a project, and at least 2 of them have been told all about it. And he swans around the office like the cock of the walk. SMH
  11. And those arms <fans self> Happy about the top 3. Britt was a great competitor, but she is not up to the standard set by Jaine, Bill, & Dustin. Jaine is my pick to win but I’ll be satisfied with any of the three.
  12. 4/5 (missed Velcro on Thursday) I miss @saber5055 too!
  13. It’s very early days, but Mattea seems like she has the potential to be a long-running champion. And now I’ve probably jinxed her. I was disappointed that her DD wager in single (tm Mayim) Jeopardy was so low. Even if it wasn’t a good category for her, both of her competitors were in the red, so even if she lost it all she’d be ahead. I would have bet it all. Yes, I’m very brave from my recliner lol I pre-guessed FJ
  14. I firmly believe that the show runners don’t see the need for the audience to be invested in Kate & PMJ’s relationship. They got the “shock value” they wanted in the FF wedding scene. We’re getting the breaking of Katoby, but evidently we’re just supposed to accept PMJ because Kate did.
  15. I got FJ because my husband watches Succession, and evidently I’ve picked up some info through osmosis. About all I really know about it is that a Culkin and Cameron from “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” are on it.
  16. Yes, same place. The Whole Foods they shop at is just down the block, at the corner of Post Oak & San Felipe.
  17. 4/5 I guessed St. Maarten for Friday. Had no idea that there was a Dutch - New Zealand connection, but Google tells me that the Dutch arrived in 1642 and named the territory New Zeeland, which was anglicized to New Zealand when the British colonized it. That lemon mousse looks amazing!
  18. Joining you at the shallow table. I loved everything she wore, especially the black dress & the tan sweater with the braided collar. And agree with her gameplay. Going across the board isn’t my favorite, but I loved her knowledge and confidence.
  19. Maybe not as niche as you think. I knew it and I’m from the Deep South, born a few years after the raid, and not LGBTQ.
  20. 4/5 1* (Atlanta). For some reason that came to me pretty quickly. I really liked Nicole, but she needed to use her inside voice. My husband & kids, and even my sister and my oldest brother are loud af and I want to give them all hearing tests.
  21. I had to chuckle at the Hermie the elf clue because he looks like Ken.
  22. I saw Diana Ross live about a month ago, and boy did she look and sound great for 95!
  23. This is the 2nd week in a row we’ve gotten the same FJ answers. Kindly stop cheating off of me! 🤪
