  1. Well. That includes a number of recentish movies, which makes having the streamer less valuable, and a few shows as well.
  2. That really was the point. But if you want to change people’s views you need to sit at the table with them.
  3. Also Andy wasn’t asked about Timothy, correct? Which is weird. Well, we shall see.
  4. Ellie kept on bringing up Lexis.
  5. I wonder if they have not made this change so Alicient can look for him. Gives her a purpose in the next season.
  6. I’m going through a phase where my major pet peeve is people romanticizing narcissists. I have personal reasons. I don’t like Aegon at all, even a little bit, but I feel protective of him.
  7. Anyone want to talk about Otto? Where is he? Etc?
  8. I still maintain that Aemond is a malignant narcissist-and Aegon may have narcissistic fleas, exacerbated by alcoholism, but has normal feelings. I would guess Aemond would goad Aegon and Aegon would take the blame. Aemond is smarter than Aegon, for sure, but also meaner.
  9. I dunno re shipping. The character of Kristen is interesting. The climbing. The devotion to being a mother. The willingness to change her life and throw herself into it without looking back.
  10. Does Sheepstealer cough up a lot of wool balls?
  11. I thought he was genuinely trying to be inclusive and a good king. When dealing with Aemond, no good deed goes unpunished.
  12. She really should.
  13. The season ended where it did end because the mood and tenor of the show changes in many ways i suspect they would want to film the war scenes in one go and not have to to stop and start. i imagine they also want the emotional momentum. It likely seemed like a natural cut off point. A lot of this season is having Rhaenerya gear up for what she has to do, which is why Daemon had to be away and Rhaena had to die and Corliss was disinvested. Meanwhile Daemon went through a similar journey. Alicient, similarly isolated, also so it makes sense that Rhaenerya touches in with both of them at the end about how they will, on reflection, play the game of thrones
  14. That was your loss, I suppose. Too bad.
  15. No, but it paints the outcome in broad strokes. The Anarchy, so called, has more varied interpretations. I’m sure something will be arranged. To take on a house comes with obligations. I assume Jon going off to his duties means no more targs in the direct line. He will take care, although we know he is not a virgin. I’m sure there are a variety of Targ seeds around, of course.
  16. That is exactly what I assumed happened.
  17. Sansa will provide his heirs, I imagine. Even the current British royals have Plantagenet genes. This game of thrones is based on a historical one.
  18. Oh yeah, but men wear them better.
  19. Yeah well. She is being presented as empathetic and gradually in over her head. emond is looking more capable but he has had a functioning group of professionals for part of the journey. if it helps think she will present as worse next season. Also I think Aemond will have more positive moments.
  20. Rhaenyra was not going to do it until Addam convinced her that random bastards could be successful ( by keeping his parentage secret). This season shows us Rhaenyra would not pursue the claim if she did not believe she was the chosen heir and then that she is being dragged into increasingly awful choices. That explains her visit to Alicient and how we know she will have to use the intelligence Alicient has recently given her.
  21. If the initial encounter was consensual, difficulty with social cues could be a defense, although weak in a 60 year old man, even one recently diagnosed with autism. The woodstock story is way past that.
  22. I actually suspect that the song of ice and fire played out exactly as it was supposed to: Aegon/Jon ends the threat of another Targ reign. Yeah another season of GOT would not have been a bad idea to prepare people for the inevitability, but that’s TV for you. it adds irony to this story, that Viserys belief in the prophecy has fueled this clusterf*ck.
  23. They were well developed characters. You wouldn’t agree with all of them or like them all the time, just like family.
  24. Yeah. I am sad that someone who seemed like a nice guy, not so much. I think they all sound credible, but the first two sounded like they might have been … well, nothing excuses something like this.
