  1. I'm on my phone so may be the occasional weird word :-) I like it, too but I think it isn't a romance and a lot of people want that in a story. Also L doesn't come off as a very good boyfriend! It must be all V's fault!
  2. Audrey? Perhaps we've seen only the remnants of her good side? Imprisoned and unaware of the rest
  3. Yes but how much more story can the remaining episodes hold?
  4. Wouldn't it be great if the hum at the great northern was a vital growing colony of pine weasel nesting in the walls?
  5. Yes, could be another real world manifestation of the lodges. Not the real Billy. The real Billy with something missing. And. If Tina is real does that mean Audrey is in the real world? Thinking of Lucy who is connected to the modern sheriffs office by an analog phone. Switchboard takes most calls. Really in another world., too Did Ed remember James birthday?
  6. Words literally fail me. Was trying for a pithy one word expletive and I have nothing strong enough. Bob takes many forms, indeed. Fuck you, Jeremy!
  7. I wonder if she is down there for another reason, if the giant directed it, because I can't imagine why leaving her alone in the cell in the basement of the sheriff's station is going to protect her.
  8. Also the Great Northern is humming which might indicate she is still in there. I'm hoping for the pine weasel to do a cameo!
  9. Hey! I understood from contest but didn't actually make the connection.
  10. I think it may age well because its themes, ethics, morality, have staying power.
  11. I never saw Ben giving up the business, as indeed he hasn't! I also wasn't sure I saw her as a minion of her fathers empire. There was that period when it looked as if he would just batshit off into the sunset, though. I think the FBI was a real possibility for her but unlikely because evil coop would have gotten to her one way or the other
  12. I was at a Brewery last night, the night shift brewery. It's theme, logo and decorations are owls. Nice place but I found myself a little creeped out. Owls: no longer to be trusted! Great location for a fan film, though The glove also a physical manifestation of the lodges. Yes if Laura comes back Sarah may see her which would be only one of the surrealist noir moments in our futures.
  13. Naido and Sarah's off faceare the first solid manifestations of the lodges we've seen, right.?The arm was never really solid, tree branch arm. It seems like an important milestone
  14. I I initially wondered, but the figure was too young. I'm guessing that she is going to be able to produce some sound or vibration that will open the white lodge door, bring Laura back to earth, or something like that. Actually the whole thing could go either way.
  15. It wasn't outer space, it was dimensional. A dimension of sound as Rod Serling used to say. I think she was in the universal subwoofer.' He originally was set to go through to 315 and then bad cooper fought off the nausea and he then went through when it was set to 15, Dougie. I think the glass box was supposed to hijack the signal but it got the wrong thing. Since she flips off into space it may be a whole other system, maybe she was rescued by the white lodge. Is Mrs Palmer the great mother?
  16. I think she picked up the actual badass skills, like how the bugs worked and how to steal her dad's password and use the database and such while reading the manuals while working in the office while he was out bailjumping to make ends meet.. I bet she learned the rest by doing and probably did some things that could have ended badly. I imagine she had some knowledge of the criminal justice system, some skills like fingerprinting and poker, from hanging around the police station with her dad or her dad's old friends. I have no idea where she learned how to disguise herself, but I bet some of her time with Lilly helped. She clearly had a lot of skill as an actress and a singer, more than we saw Logan ever exhibit as a character and was just flexible and smart and worked all the time. speaking of badass skills she never learned: I think she never showed physical defense skills to distinguish her from buffy, but I think that she should have started to take some classes, because enough is enough.
  17. I don't remember the class sharing one blade between us. I am old, though. Perhaps my mind is going. And that might explain why people would take the stuff home to make the slides. Mystery solved.
  18. Yes, the only woman he didn't have sex with, that would be a blow to anyone's sanity :-) and if he didn't have sex with her it sounds like that may have been the case!
  19. It may mean that twin peaks is a shaggy dog story. Because life. Wow on the sister thing, I did not expect that and yet it would be part of what keeps cooper there. O agree I don't want this to end. The scene in the jail was weird. This guy bleeding heavily, ignored, dougiespeaking. Billy. Really hoped for Audrey.
  20. In the return of the kane Veronica is talking to Wallace over lunch, it is right at the beginning I think. she says her father wants to take her to the zoo, he says, I love the zoo. Veronica: "My dad's gone a little nutty with all these father-daughter days." Wallace: "Yeah, see me on the other hand would love to go to the zoo with my dad." I think there's another bit, can't place it, where they are in the living room and keith says he's given up trying to turn back time but he wants them to make the best of it and maybe mentions the zoo again. -------------------------- I don't know if Veronica was too cool for school, inside, though. I don't think she had a lot of fun for the entire three years. Times she was with Logan and Duncan and (briefly) Troy were always fraught with something, drug deals and dead mothers, burning pools, ex boyfriends with milfs in tow, kidnapping, etc. No surfing, video games, Christmases in Aspen, whatever, for her! So, you are right, it is rare and nice to see her go gaga over Connor, and also shows how Logan lives in a different world. The bit with Jake shows how courageous she is and also how naïve, she hasn't the experience to know how brave she is being. Jake is a character who needed more screen time, I wonder if he would have stepped up for Veronica or Logan if there had been a season 4 at Hearst. I'd like to think so. I agree that Weevil always felt platonic to me, too.
  21. According to the transcripts she says : "Sleep with me, you say you love me." Aaron says to Lynn: "Lynn, I don't know who this person is, I swear." Aaron says to woman: "I don't know you." (is stabbed)
  22. The recent scene with Ray being transported to the black lodge via ring portal would seem to indicate that Philip Jeffries is handing out rings and may be the Lodge's gatekeeper? It doesn't seem like Dopple Cooper is distributing rings, it seems like someone else is trying to put the ring on him. We know one person who has issues with modern telephone technology?
  23. I really enjoy reading these articles and I appreciate someone finding them for me, since I'm not nearly as good at it (apparently). Thank you for this. Not sure if this is the place for this, but I was reading some of the speculation about Audrey and thinking that it wouldn't be surprising if Audrey, with or without evil Richard Horne as her adult son, had become an fbi agent and one of the blue roses, maybe it even would have been likely if she hadn't been in the explosion. Her encounter with Cooper was a life changing encounter even if it didn't turn out to be a romantic one. So I can see her arguing for that outcome with Lynch and losing the part to Chrysta Bell, for whatever of Lynch's reasons.
  24. I wonder if the waterbed thing is part of a thread, along with the zoo, showing that Keith doesn't really know Veronica. He withdrew from his family into his job as his marriage crumbled and Liane retreated into alcoholism and missed a lot of her life, so now he is trying to get closer to her and is relating to a much younger person, the one who wanted to go to the zoo every weekend and liked jumping on the neighbors old waterbed. She must have learned poker somewhere, maybe from Dad, but the fab four didn't know about it or she wouldn't have been able to hustle Logan and that was a hustle. So, no one knows Veronica? At this point she is free to reinvent herself. She's been invisible, just a cute little blonde girl. I had forgotten the moment with Duncan and Logan leaning against the piano was in this episode. I think I want more of their friendship than we got and (it maybe wasn't possible) want more of the friendship between Veronica and Duncan than we got. Going forward I think we mostly see her collapsing in between bouts of hard work and short sleep, watching movies. There isn't a lot of fun in her life. The point that Duncan indicates that Logan didn't used to be a jackass is a good one, still he was clearly raised in the fifties. Lynn coming out in the dark, alone, to swim in front of the teenage boys shows a real and pathetic exhibitionism, I always felt. Yes, really, you would think Duncan would be more supportive of Logan and used to the family dynamics.
  25. Ravi does actually have a job aside from working on the vaccination and his lab is pretty primitive so it is going to leave him a lot of free time. In fairness, too, he does have a platonic relationship with Liv, so not everything is about sex. Yes, I think you are right, Liv and Major are both lonely and desperate and that both of them really want a connection with someone, anyone. Still, with everything going on, I think some one of them could decide to put a hold on dating.
