Yes - Tre was married /with the same man probably close to 18 yrs. But for some reason, she sounds like a teenager using these words... I guess I have gotten used to women who date later in life calling their "current" something else... like my special friend... his name...some nickname- which is an offshoot of his real name.. And a love bubble at 50 needs to include more than love .... 401k, socical seurity statement, credit report, banking statement, current physical, life, dental and health ins... ITA. I let go whom was at the helm of this little spinoff, but it is an important topic that all families, including single people with assets/children, need to discuss. It doesn't matter if you have only $1 in your bra or shoe, OR millions in bank, cookie jar or under a mattress, what happens when a person is medically unable to make decisions or heaven forbid passes, a written document, which does NOT need to cost a fortune, needs to be done. Period. No exceptions. It's a tough conversation to start and hold, but everyone involved will feel so much better for doing so. I will come back in another post for the snarking... This subject is too serious for me to combine with the other foolishness of the Woodman family.

I did/doing the same, as perimenopause can last for years. After seeing so many doing basically a striptease in places like a PTA meeting, I too started making notes - as I refuse to do that. Exercise (ie doing 5/10ks) helps me a great deal, along with just saying "no more" to certain types of blouses/tops/ etc, and wearing my hair pulled away from my face. And I am learning to breathe and think, and sometimes walk away/change the topic - before speaking. Lastly accepting the fact - its ok to be hot.. As high as monthly supplies have gotten - I for one be glad not to even have the slightest reason to be in at aisle of the store - a mini raise so to speak. On the clothing front - I too was noticing again that the housewives tend to be in summer attire every where they go. Yes - it can get hot in Nashville but still - they seem to be dressed for the hottest July day on record. I would love to see what they wear on a snowday in NJ. I do wonder if Tre does have plans to have another - ie the long awaited son she didn't have with Juicy, and/or to create a new family with Louie. I guess everyone is afraid to ask her if she wants to have more children.

Just popping in to hear the latest on which network will carry the show. With the Kardashians moving to Hulu , they spent the last two weeks with any newscaster that had a mike to tell their followers where to watch and what will be different with the move with a new filming crew. Haven't seen Kelli, Charlotte or perhaps Judy anywhere... Did I miss a grand announcement or commercial ? Maybe they too will need a year off , any network, to plan...

Given that she is a JR? in college and over 18, I would have kindly reminded her that her bedroom is at Rutgers - 9 months out of the year. with x-nbr of kids ( I don't know how many Louis has) kids still living at home, where she sleeps for 3 months out of the year in the house, really isn't a major area of concern..

Melissa tolerates Tre because she is family and probably the godmother to one of her children. Any major disagreement or side picking would cause a conflict b/w her and Joe . Tre has already reminded her on several occasions to stick with family.

yep. he definitely had some memorable moments.. And the board had a great discussion about that cook: was it a squid vs. octopus. I guess that is the beauty of living near the ocean - get those "products" in such a fresh-visual manner.. one just can't run to the nearest Kroger and get a 5lb squid to put in a pot... for once I didn't object to all of the flashback clips. I think I will miss Tre's house too - surprised Miliana took the packing so well. And it was nice to come full circle on the venure - what 10+ years later since Joey's christening ? I wonder how much does it cost to hold an event in a venue like that - the staff, decor, food, and the rental...If the place is still standing after all of this time it must be affordable to those who are not on TV.. Watching "the Valedictorian" - class of 1944.. I surely wish they would have aged up Elizabeth. Say like she took courses in summer school or something to finish up. Her graduating and the end of the war would have been a nicer finish. Then the last season could have been about her adulting -the last Walton to leave the nest, while the men folk return back from the war in 1945 . John and Olivia's dream would have been materialized sooner - all waltons finished school. Seeing all 4 walk off to the service ;3 of the 4 overseas duty- still gets to me - when the remaining said good night to them. How sad. 😥

Trying to guess a positive .... Perhaps they had a family only private service. Like what the OG in my family refer to as the "family hour" or the "viewing hour" , usually held at the funeral home with an officiant saying a few brief and comforting words. Limited to a very small nbr of people and the details of when is normally not disclosed. Then what was given to the press a the "private funeral" was attended by co-workers, neighbors, schoolmates, in-laws, church members, folks like that. I just don't believe that a mother would not attend, as painful as it could be, her own child service. As far as the sisters - Tamar historically has acted like she couldn't stand the state of MD, I think Twanda/Trinia would be joined at the hip, and Toni would have come - albeit probably late. I also think the brother (who seems to be a friend to all of the sisters) and the father - with his wife of 20 years - would also have come. Now for a little snark - what took so long for the private/any/ and all service(s) to happen? Surely they didn't have to pass the hat to raise funeral expenses...I mean she passed on the 12th and was diagnosed as terminal...Yes Traci was a public figure but surely they didn't need to wait until the nearest NBA/major performance arena was free..
