  1. Huh? I'm not understanding..
  2. What year was the camcorder invented? What was the name device did people use to create those reel tape home movies?😁 Even a still camera shot can catch someone's feet or face, doing something wrong. I don't know what year Kelli started but surely she had access to a camera and something to play back footage long before Melissa's tour with DWTS. I'm not buying that once the season starts, and have learned the 50 dances, they don't have a few minutes to watch film. Are they just that perfect every single performance that no review/post mordem /lesson learned session is needed?
  3. Fun fact: It wasn't until 2012, when the DCC viewed footage of themselves from a game performance, per Kelli. From a group that claims when there is a stop in the game action they are on camera, along with the cameras are 100% on them in pregame performance, it took until 2012 to have a session to view their own performance. Per Judy the DCC is constantly being evaluated.Wouldn't film watching be a valuable tool in the evaluation? I mean the NFL has been watching stuff on film since the 1950s.. I have an 8th grade family member who watches film from the middle school league...it took until 2012, for the DCC that maybe, just maybe, they should watch footage too?
  4. Hats off to the ladies on the calendar shoots. Talk about being very confident and comfortable in your own skin. Not to mention getting every hair , menstural issues, and blemish , including tats, taken care of. I means those suits are tiny. And then there are poses where the untie the top, or the have to do a change on the beach, with 3-4 holding towels. The runway show was ok still skimpy suits but this time with heels. Do they make all the ladies were the same style of heels, even while traveling?
  5. What did she major in college? When she gave one of her exit goodbyes , she said she wanted to give time to her other passions. I took that to mean she had another career path to explore.
  6. RE: 2nd round tryouts -Mia Jackie Bob, Minchew sisters, etal; @ hotel b/c of new stadium construction Do they still have one of Judy's assistants do the dance while the audition groups are going in front of the judges? I couldn't snap a pic quick enough but every so often footage shows an assistant in the far corner doing the dance - left of the judges
  7. Did melissa R ever say why she only did 2 years DCC? The following season (Cassie was a TCC), it did look like it was a shift in dance ability and what the judges wanted in training camp. 5 veterans were cut, too. Kelli also had a vet only meeting, stating that vets are eligible to be cut and showed the ranking board of where they fell at auditions. Nicole failed the written test and Erica solo costume was --- let's say not the best choice . something had to happen for the heat to get turned up all of a suidden.
  8. I wonder would it help or hurt even more if the sticker-on-poloroid-picture would advance into a electric board that a TCC could see all the time, so she knew where she stood, with each judge and guest choreographer. And each guest wouldn't know how another person voted. Just thinking of Alexander's face after 5 years of trying out, to find the same night she was cut, that she only had a few stickers. I just noticed the "CMT" stickers on the back. I guess they get 45 stickers. Still surprised KaSara didn't pick bestie Amy for point when K&J asked for her opinion.
  9. How was Tara and Savannah's " package deal" (Kelli's words) different than Danielle and Jasmine? And any other pair? Kelli just seemed annoyed that Tara & Savannah were besties from another NFL team and came to DCC. Was it ever said take both of them or neither of them, early on? I don't the K&J have have a soft spot for keeping transplanted TCCs together- they broke up each set years later anyway. I do admire a close friend who shares the same dream , who can and will leave every thing behind- moving states jobless, limited funds, given the odds of getting into training camp, let alone making the team. So, nice to be young and courageous.
  10. What's the story behind this? School? Family? I thought she just did one full year. Kalyssa Singleton (resigned mid-season)
  11. When Holly "resigned" who was the alternate that replaced her in show group to keep the number at 16?
  12. Makeover hair stylist question. Is it still called clipping ones ends if the hair is held vertically (up in the air) and the scissors cut the hair from an angle ( cutting hand is like at an angle)? so many of the candidates get their ends trimmed ( to everyones agreement) but I thought the hair could be combed straight down, and the scissors would go straight across.
  13. was she the game day girl of the week ?
  14. I wonder why. I know it probably took seasons to get over, emotionally, the retirement of Nicole as point and even Whitney had camera moments when she was point. They make setting the triangle and field formations such a big deal, yet there is a whole season where its a over sight. Then fast forward a few seasons Mia was one of 5? retired Vets that came to a rehearsal and a practice session, giving advice an critiquing TCCs. I think she had married by then (screen flashed her full name), so I was like wow from HS graduation a week before her 1st camp to now married, seem to fly by. No mention that she too was point. When Kelli took a photo on her phone of Dayton to Mia's smiling picture on the back wall, was Mia point then, or center with Jackie?
  15. https://deadline.com/2022/09/cw-a-waltons-thanksgiving-premiere-date-1235118887/ Is it cw's plan to air one show a year?
  16. Did they ever feature Mia as point ? Even mention it ? I forgot she was one, for one year, until I read the notes on Wikipedia.
  17. I'm beginning to think these houses actually are owned by someone else. The stars use them for filming and are there like as house sitters. Possible model homes or homes of people who are seldom in town - like recording artists. So yes, her coins go far enough to pay for her stay there. I wouldn't think she got a mega divorce settlement? They weren't married that long, no children, not sure if grounds of adultery were made and proven in court and they both had sustainable income. And even if it really is her house - why would she really want on that big? Yes - get a larger house b/c of mother ,nephew and probably a better school district but the rest the the sq feet just seems like a little overkill.
  18. Is an entire dance shown? The show footage can bounce around alot, and you don't always see their feet. All dances are 32 eight counts, right? If cameras are allowed into the stadium, I surely would try to score a ticket ( pick one game that isn't a popular , pricy, or check a reliable resource ticket reseller svc) and focus in as much as a decent lens would allow. If this is a dream since a young age, surely a trip to a live game, is somewhat feasible. And if they're local to Dallas, it can't be a secret where show group is performing. And back to the dance length, especially for those who haven't danced in college or professionally somewhere, I hope there are classes/studios/master classes/etc that teach longer routines, to help with the memory of learning a new routine, performance and stamina part. On the vet side of the house one season K&J talked to vets who were retiring & Re auditioning a couple of days later. Wouldn't that also be a time to do a weight check and job performance review?
  19. 🤔Actually I've been curious just how many & what hours she works - esp. during trainIng camp. And how much time she has to spend with her own family. Rehearsal is over close to midnight. I would think she would need to be available for meetings and other business during the day.s Justt like the candidates, she has to use some business hours time on personal upkeep - hair, nails, excerise, clothing selections, keeping up with the news/current events, dance world developments, going to the grocery store shopping for healthy food choices. She got snippy with Kristen over being late and having a tail light out. Just when is she (Kristen) supposed to have time to run by AutoZone to get a bulb and attempt to change it out herself, or make an apt at a service dept? Poor girl was driving 100 miles a day already. Granted the football season is over 2nd/3rd week in January (meaning the Cowboys win their division, but the next game or two, hmmm), but the work the DCC goes on to some degree. And then its planning for audition season all over again.
  20. Do they post a picture of the board somewhere? Or send a text/e-mail to the 1st round auditioner, to come back on day #2? I wonder do they leave the board where it can be viewed, when the gate is locked. Yes - it's their lifelong dream and many travel states and countries to apply, but sitting around for many hours, just to wind up outside in a mob, doesn't seem the best use of time. Can one leave and come back? Just watching the seasons I.m trying to understand just how long it is on the first day. One year it was dark outside, which happens later (ie 7 pm+) in May/June.
  21. she lost some of her thighs the 2nd go around.
  22. When now former head coach Jason Garrett came to speak at a rehearsal, I wish he would have shed some light on how does he make sure a rookie is a good teammate and getting along well in the locker room. I would love to hear another coach's perspective.
  23. I think the pandemic shutdown, followed by social racial awareness brought out alot of "authors" who decided to put fingers to keyboard and write a book. Plus I heard it is easier now to self publish and thus creating a few revenue streams selling books.
  24. I think lyrical works for Kelli (and kitty) for certain skilled/ technically trained dancers, with the correct music selection and costume. Kelli shed a tear for both of Victoria's rookie year solo auditions. The second one also moved tough-cookie Brenda to tears, which Marshall gave a look like "WTH".😂 . Kelli also liked Lacey's & Rachel W lyrical solos. Kelli also likes the solos where 5-6 vets, dance along to an guest artist song and dances in show group. Vivian did solo #2 for the wrong reason. She was more about showing everyone her hurt from a relationship breakup, than listening to the advice of the same person, two years in a row, and show casing the skills she is more masterful in doing. I doubt kitty was the first person to tell her that lyrical wasn't her strongest card to play. I do wish Jay would have worked with her on a regime to make her thighs smaller, as opposed to boxing. Did Melissa R work with her in a smaller group? I.m trying to remember if they showed a vet working with her. For the first fan vote winner, seemed the like the same support services weren't there..2nd go around she really needed tutoring on field work.
  25. Yeah her reasoning sounded good at the time, but I figured by now, more background would have surfaced. Yes, everyone has a choice to be photographed, but to say her line of work was the consideration.. Hmmm..in a cardiac care unit in a hospital, from that patient point of view? When they showed flashbacks of DCC Sasha, who teaches middle school, that would be a work situation where I would be afraid of the calendar resurfacing among the "teasing" crowd .Ahh, the good old days of middle school..😁 And just because A DCC did the photoshoot, doesn't mean a cheerleader will make the final product. Kelly has made it clear, they only need 14 pictures out of thousands taken, and more than 14 vets go on the trip with several designer suits in hand.
