Is Melissa R still involved with training camp? Any other changes during camp , for better or worse, since the show isn't being filmed?

Having a nostalgia moment: Is Jay or someone still doing the power squad as part of training camp? I know it was a sore subject with some b/c it was the Army's physical test. The TCC seemed so happy though to compete, better themselves and I guess get a t-shirt. I do agree though running is not the only way to get in cardio, so maybe the new era is to do the equivalent in whatever cardio is their thing- swim, bike, etc. I would think to keep their flat tummy and tight core, they would do a max sit-up nbr on their own.

Hopefully Dad had life insurance...does Quad still have a talk show? That GA power bill in a 14000 sq ft place..wow.. Dud they show the dogs yesterday?

welcome back !! I will be back later to chat more about the season premiere.. I have to watch it again... I was kinda bored, so to be fair I want to make sure it wasn't me. What man.... what man... is going to allow his wife to be oogled by a "trainer" in his driveway?? let alone entertaining the thought wifey is going to be doing a "fitness" competition ? I would have signed her up for the Boston Marathon and then access her "fitness" - ie commitment .. My mouth was hanging open when the trainer told her what exactly to change into ?? I would like to know why Scott didn't sign the divorce / house sale papers?? cheaper to keep her ???

Watching the movies from last weekend more closely... .looking at Erin's wedding movie. When did Jonesy go from Geology professor (can't remember if he was a Phd) at Boatwright to Dr. of Veterinary medicine ? Did I forget to record a movie ?

hmmm - not so sure. Cora would have been on the first bus (since it already stopped at the store) or train to a city where she could live the life she felt she could have. I can only think of Ike must have rolled her eyes back in bed, in addition to being a big-snob in a small town were the some of reasons that kept her there. hmmm.. I didn't know that - what was reality ? Meaning did he grow up with some kind of wealth, but not the loving home of siblings, grandparents and parents, saying good night to each other and being at home for every evening meal ? OR parents not happily married together, father always out of work, outdoor plumbing, someone didn't finish high school, pregnancy out of wedlock, etc.

This a a point I missed from my Jim Bob James Robert rant above. Even though the waltons seems to have it cushy on the food front, JB-JR came home from the war and still had to share a room with a 8 year cousin Jeffery and I guess Jason was still around-when he wasn't at the bar he bought. At least in the service he would have had a room provided for and possibly not in the barracks once the war ended, or when he rose in rank. He still had chores to do like cutting wood for the house and working part-time in the mill. Just seem like he might would have seen a better life, as a young person, by staying in the army air corps. He still would had plenty of time to chase women.

I agree. A King in England leaving his position for a US divorced woman was definitely news in the US. And probably it was one of those days/weeks when little exciting news was going on here. ( link ) . Look how much news the marriages of Prince Charles (to Diana) and William were here... I can only imagine the coordination of Queen E also generated many glued to the tv/radio all day. Actually - I'm still a little sad on Ben staying too.. what was the university that cindy's father got him into for engineering - Duke ? He had the GI Bill and Cindy's fathers string-pulling, already married with a child, that seemed to be too good of a deal to passed up. I would have like to see them do cameos of him being in college. But John has to go take Olivia to AZ

And to the same point that has been stated why MASH killed off Henry Blake - not everyone comes home from war. Curt was an easy expendable target. I didn't see it as John choosing which son went. Jim Bob was too young w/o signatures , & john/olivia had a hard rule about finishing HS, Jason had somekind of extension from not reporting for the draft ( I guess due to school) and when Ben did decided he wanted to go - he went.

The lamest to me featured a son, who dreamt for years of airplanes in addition to being mechanically strong, getting stationed in a few towns over and who seemed to always be on a weekend pass. I don't think there was a scene devoted to his camp setting or his fellow army members. At least with the other 3- we saw something.. Then when the war is over - didn't stay in the service... He planned to go before the war, went to the recruiting office the day of pearl harbor, enlisted in the day of his HS graduation, so why not reenlist after the war - ie peacetime? What exactly did he come home for/to-do - run a country off-road car garage ? If anyone should have did 20 yrs (or until Korea broke out) and then retire out - Jim Bob James Robert, should have be the one.

I too get a little suspicious about this document. Have we ever seen a blurred image of it on tv, or a bootleg copy from like on/from TMZ? Isn't a prenup filed at the courthouse - like a will ? 1. they got married 10/23/99. How many everyday people (which is all they were at that time) were getting prenups in 99? The cost of lawyer fees alone would stopped most 20-somethings from that bill. 2. If they did have one - who really encouraged it - maybe her parents? - meaning if Juicy pulled out in x-years, Tre and subsequent children will always be taken care of. Or another switch could be Juicy would get something , if he stayed in for x-many years - like a dowry, which is kinda a old school thought. 3. Perhaps Juicy was already doing some shady sh*t before marriage. So the underworld of his business connections said to get a document - really to protect him - ie don't care about stuff that was in Tre's name only, and/or any previous monies/properties of his, goes elsewhere.
