Re: the 3, 4, 5 yr try out ladies, ( cristianna, Brianna, et. al), did they try out and/or make other teams- nba, college, nfl, during all that time? I understand the 1st audition trip may be just a fact finding tour to see how to better prepare next year. Yes: no other team in the world has DCC style, but the experience & learning couldn't have hurt.. If the only time they did audition and performances was DCC auditions, then that is a lot of calendar time lost. I would think dancing in a college football stadium filled with 100,000+ people will help the performance and entertaining skills. I can't remember the names who it was, but there were two college friends, where one made dcc the next year after college, and the other took a year off. When friend #2 came out to try for dcc, they both admitted she wasn't as fast learning dances, anymore.

Is this the same visiting family where the son tried to passionately kiss young Erin? I'm trying to remember what the daughter was up to - who she was trying to corrupt. And the mother didn't know how to operate the stove - which appeared even if the stove was the top of the line fancy model, she still would have been lost in the kitchen.

Part of me felt they were being cheap by not inviting rookies. They could be of some help to the vets who are "working" and bond. More tix and accomdatations for a TCC who make not make the team. they can walk the runway at Belk, but not in Mexico. When they traveled to hall of fame, I.m sure K& J left instructions for them to have the rehearsal of their lives, so no rest for the weary..

RE: solo at final audition round Did the weighing or criteria of the solo performance change, for the better as the seasons went on? Yes, we only see a snip, but I saw more emphasis on props, costumes, and I guess one could call it performance, than dance. I am guessing the finalists were just as resume up'ed as they are now- college, pro teams, k-12 local dance studio. I like seeing the leaps, turns, floor work, pointed toes, spins - ie good old fashioned dance skills. I remember a scene where kitty blasted someone for bringing in an tree to her clinic, that they really didn't utilize into the routine. I kinda feel the same way about some of the "extras". Do dance skills evolve more, as the years go by like ice skating skiils? Maybe I am watching before a triple pirouettes was done in a competition, or studio..

I only remember her leaving there the first time.. I don't recall where she was working when she tried out the 2nd time. and after the 2nd cut - I don't know where she worked.. she made it sound like the director of college football recruiting operations was part of some kind of career growth/move-up job, in that is why she left NJ. Kelli asked her the 1st season why was she in Dallas - the SMU gig or the team and she said "both". And it does make some sense for those in college football to scoot around from univ to univ...

Not sure how it goes at the DCC auditions, but at middle-high school dance competition it is a long day - clock time wise, but not a long physical day. For example one might have to arrive by 8 am - per director, But your first dance might not be until 11:30 am. then a dance lasts for 2-3 minutes. Next dance might not be until 2:45 pm. Results at 5 pm. Leave the stadium at 6 pm.

I don't think Phil calls the dance party as soon as the last set of 5 did their audition in front of the judges. Plus the DJ would have taken a break as well. I don't think the dance party is mandatory as there will always be somebody who is deep on their phone or in the mirror. So probably he had a note from "somebody" at about 1 hr-30 min before the time the judges are due back, call the ladies together, the DJ is back from his break and lets wake things up again. I see too many ladies with pillows/blankets, books, snacks ( I do wonder if DoorDash/Uber Eats is an option) so I think there is plenty of downtime for 18-22-ish yr olds to recover from.

I wonder if she found another university to be the director of college football recruiting..and another team to dance for - which she should have looked into before running straight from the Jets to Dallas..

We sometimes walk around the HS track which yes, has a football field with lines. A few times the band was there practicing formations. I always think of Judy screaming- teaching the entrance just days before squad photo. Kelli is always worried about someone not getting it and calls them in. I never understood why something so important and so visible and so everything else was taught last, fast, and in a hurry. Since there was no TV cameras this TCC season- does anybody know if they once again wait until the last minute to teach the newbies the entrance, to maybe ease some stress and drama?

Thought provoking questions about a flash back episode. Brandi kilby. Why would Kelli think she was a stripper based on her hair, style of dance (which should have been addressed at auditions ) and nails? It sounded really offensive to me. My first thought is does one really know what a stripper looks like? Secondly are hairstyles and manicure choice mandated for a stripper position- meaning hair/nails aren't the focus of getting and keeping the job..😁 Then the next day, is rookie makeovers, so that is a perfect time to cut and blow out her hair and get rid of the long nails- which in Brand's denfense weren't all that long. She should have left the fancy salon totally different- to appease kelli . Was it the French manicure that bugged Kelli? And when was Brandi supposed to get to a nail shop? They don't open all that early and they practice & resherse the rest of the day/night. The next day Kelli finds documentation and cuts her. Makes me wonder just how long she had it and hard it was to find. If she had planned to cut her why waste the salon's time? Nails styles are really long now, plus they have their hands in Poms most of the time

Grad school! Check: I think it was last season, or the season before covid, but there were two TCC, who told Kelli separately during their uniform fittings, they wanted to go onto law school. Are they still cheering or now in law school? Did the TCC who was called in the office with Amy R (from Rockford -5 yrs if trying) and she was questioned by Kitty go onto dental school?

Even though I was stumped on one of the questions myself (see earlier post) , there are quite a few candidates who just left HS US history. IE the material of " name 3 presidents ", " who is vice president & their party" should be relatively fresh information. Most probably can rattle off street names and or school bldgs to come up with 3 presidents. Hint finalist ladies: read up on everything you can find out about JFK. And Jackie O. Very proud of Kelsey linebacker answer- she even gave more detail in that he is behind the linemen , and is trying to sack the quarterback.💖. There was a scene in a restaurant? where Kelli asked "what does the number 72 mean to you?" .someone said Roger Staubach, who wore #12. But I thought it was a good guess on his current age. While I love and respect Emmett Smith, and Walton Payton even more ( Enmitt broke Payton's record in 2002, and the record still stands) the panel really need to get a more recent cowboy hall of famer as part of the quiz-off. I say that b/c I had to recently explain to someone, who much younger that Joe Namath fame isn't only from Medicare commercials- Superbowl 3 was more than a lifetime ago, for some people . RE: a flashback panel interview question - "If a little girl comes up to you while in uniform and asks what does the star represent?".... just what is the answer to this question... I can't remember what the candidate said, as I too was not sure of the answer myself.. Is there one specific answer that everyone should know ? And I guess there is a answer to why there are 15? stars on the uniform..
