  1. Yeah, I think that's what disappointed me the most about the 100th. We didn't get any scenes with the real Felicity and Oliver or Diggle. They just forgot about those relationships they'd spent the previous 99 episodes building to focus on the alien dream world and the dead characters/relationships that hadn't existed for years. The thing is, they still could have done what they did with the 100th if that's what they wanted so badly, but also included the other aspects/relationships of the show. It's a shame they didn't.
  2. I saw the rerun on my TV's guide and it annoys me that the description is "Oliver joins Lyla on a secret mission for Diggle while Felicity opts to stay behind" since they gave her 0.3 seconds to wrap her head around breaking Diggle out and that led into who was for and against the plan. I know it's just a short description for the episode and there's only so much they can put in it, but it rubs me the wrong way. I think it's the use of "opts."
  3. It sounds like "the show must keep changing up Black Canary until I'm happy with what I see. If X doesn't work, try Y (even if Y means a character who has opposed the team, tried to kill them and was involved in the kidnapping of the main character's son)."
  4. I wonder if they were testing the "meet cute" scenario for a LI for Oliver. They just so happened to succeed with both the scene and the actress.
  5. To me, it just seems so weird that after a finale that left pretty much everyone's fate up in the air (on-screen, not taking into account series regular announcements/MG on Tumblr talking about storylines for S6/common sense) that Malcolm is definitely dead and they're not drawing that out over the summer too. It really all comes down to this:
  6. I don't get it. What do people think that will accomplish? Do they actually think it will accomplish something? I feel like the time and energy some people put into hating something - in any fandom - could be used to do some good, like these fundraisers.
  7. Hmm.. Hasn't eonline left couples/moments/etc. off polls before and then corrected it? Hopefully that's the case this time.
  8. Nominations were based on votes, right? I find it really hard to believe that the bunker sex didn't get enough votes.
  9. I'm torn between 508 and 513 for worst episode. 513 should have never existed, but I had pretty low expectations and I expected what we got. 508 was not what the 100th episode of the show should have been since it moved on from season 1 years ago, and because it was a big milestone episode, I had pretty high expectations that it just did not meet.
  10. The problem is that other than the quick mentions of Billy in 510 and 520, the show seemed to forget that he was Felicity's boyfriend. When the ACU was going after the Green Arrow for his murder, no one even brought up that Felicity knew him. They acted like he was just a detective Oliver killed and then someone they could briefly discuss pinning everything on. I'm not sure if Lance even knew Felicity dated Billy. Which leads to something else I'm bitter about: how no one seemed to update Lance on everything he missed while in rehab until it became relevant to the plot. Someone really should have told him about Black Siren and that she pretended to be Laurel. He shouldn't have had to find out about her the way he did. He should have been prepared for that.
  11. My problem is that they wrote it that he was important to her and WM kept bringing him up in interviews as being important. Even though we never saw it on-screen, I wish we had gotten something. Would have helped after having to read through all those interviews and getting that out-of-nowhere mention of him in 520.
  12. So much this. I can't believe that all we got was a "Ms. Smoak" in 522. Why couldn't they cut out a "daddy" from Black Siren to Lance or Oliver's "my son!" in the same episode and given us something more than that? Anything? They made losing Billy so important for Felicity's Helix arc, yet she had nothing to say to the person who put the guy in the position that led to his death?
  13. I think one of the things I'm most bitter about when it comes to Susan is that they could have done a somewhat decent "reporter investigating Oliver" storyline. Instead of having him date her and trust her, especially over Thea and Felicity's protests about what she had on him, they could have had her be shady, just like she was without any of that "good person" and "good reporter" nonsense, and have him stand up for and protect Thea and Lance in the mayor's office and the team outside of it. He could have realized that a reporter looking into him could affect everyone else in his life and put them at risk. Or something. Anything except what we got. Instead, his behavior regarding Susan had me rooting against him.
  14. Bitter about Susan. Bitter about William (and how no one else seems to matter when he's around/mentioned). Bitter that I'll probably only ever willingly rewatch a handful of episodes from the entire season. Bitter that we didn't get nearly enough of the characters/relationships I care about all season because of the new characters. Still bitter about Rory leaving. Still bitter that they could have and should have spent time on Havenrock and how it affected Felicity and didn't. Still bitter about 513 and the 100th. May think of other things I'm bitter about later.
  15. If E2 LL's life ends up being pretty similar to E1 LL's, I want minimal FBs. I don't see why we'd have to see something we already know. If the only difference is that she got her powers and then went evil because E2 OQ died, just show us that. Show us her finding about he's dead. Don't show us unnecessary E2 O/L scenes. We've already had to watch unnecessary E1 O/L scenes. And while I'd like to see E2 Felicity and Diggle, I doubt we'll get anything significant. Yeah, I don't want to see any quotes from anyone on the show about "back to basics" or "grounded" this summer when talking about season 6.
  16. I feel like that's something they have to at least address on-screen. But I am a bit worried about how they'd have it play out. I don't exactly trust these writers.
  17. I miss Rory. I did think that his magical rags were a bit much, especially when he'd just stand between the others and bullets, but still. I want him back, and I'd rather have him around than two people with the same metahuman power. How many times can we just watch them send each other flying back by screaming at each other? I know. The only loose end I can think of with Black Siren is the same as everyone else's - where she was when the island exploded.
  18. I would love that. Will it ever happen? Probably not. We're more likely to see Sara snatch up all the masks while Felicity's left in the bunker and Thea's out of town for a reason that probably doesn't make sense. That makes me think of something else I want - something on-screen that suggests the teams all talk to each other when it's not crossover time outside of that one text message Felicity sent Cisco on The Flash (I think in 322?). I get that it might be harder for them to talk to the Legends while they're traveling through time, but it's ridiculous when there are problems that could be solved a lot easier with a phone call to another team. Let the heroes be smart. Don't make them look dumb.
  19. Two of my hopes for season 6: more of Felicity training and for her to get credit when she should. (I got annoyed all over again about WM giving Chase the credit for Diggle being free earlier.) When it comes to Olicity, I just want them together, happy and "stupid drama"-free. I've seen other shows write couples well and keep them together. I see no reason why Arrow can't do that with Olicity.
  20. What I keep going back to is the fact that they were pretty vague about what Cayden James had done, so if they decide to make Helix this evil organization, I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly make that this really, really bad thing that Lyla couldn't talk about before but suddenly, here's this entire file on all his bad deeds. But if they don't and James decides to target ARGUS in season 6 in a way that leads to Team Arrow helping Lyla, couldn't the argument be made that he maybe wouldn't have if they hadn't captured him and did whatever they did to him before chaining him up in a storage container? And while I know it won't happen, I still want Cayden James to be Felicity's father because I'd love to see them try to make an argument for Felicity being in the wrong since blood family is so very important on Arrow. Will they say blood family only matters when it's someone related to Oliver by blood? ETA: According to http://arrow.wikia.com/wiki/Cayden_James, ARGUS just caught him trying to hack into their system? So they took him into custody because of what he could have done with the information but we don't know if he would have done anything? Am I missing something?
  21. Yep. Remember when Felicity and Diggle were friends on-screen?
  22. I think they flew right out of WM's head too. Maybe it's like WM's comments about how Helix were Felicity's "old friends" an episode after they met, how the General was Diggle's nemesis from a past season (or something like that) which wasn't true, and how it was thanks to Chase that Diggle was free when Felicity did all the work and got zero thanks.
  23. What I don't quite get is why Helix isn't happy with Felicity. She sided with them over her team. She stood in front of a gun to make sure they escaped with Cayden James. And then they left her. If anything, she shouldn't be happy with them since they just cleared out and left.
