  1. Maybe they all decided to swim around the island. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they did. I'll probably be disappointed by however they resolve the cliffhanger.
  2. I'd like to know why they felt the need to have a cliffhanger at all. Why not end it with Oliver leaving the island behind with everyone? They could still blow up the island if they wanted to, maybe have Oliver leave Chase behind and he kills himself but everyone gets off the island before the explosives go off. And we could've had the feeling of "what next" for everyone knowing that Chase is really gone but there's still stuff up in the air. Not knowing what's going to happen with William and Samantha and if Oliver's going to be part of his son's life. Oliver and Felicity reuniting. Thea dealing with losing Malcolm. Etc. Also, was Black Siren left knocked out in the temple? Are they going to go back for her?
  3. I can't help but think of how much more we could've gotten out of the finale if they had taken out some of those "Where's my son?!"s from Oliver. I really don't get the point of this cliffhanger. We know that the team survives. Unless now MG is going to go on Tumblr and be like, "So, those people I said were sticking around in season 6? J/K. Wait until the fall to see who is staying."
  4. Did William even react to finding out Oliver's his father and Oliver hugging him? Because I don't think he did. Please either recast this kid if he's going to be back in season 6, or better yet, send him off again.
  5. The cliffhanger was ... meh? I'm not worried. The magical portal that allows them to travel wherever they need to in a short period of time is going to get everyone from one side of the island to another in time to be off the island before the explosion. (Although, I'm thinking after thinking Felicity could be dead, Oliver's going to go from agreeing to "one step at a time" to "so that, one step at a time is down the aisle getting married right now, right?") Why am I not surprised that they doubled down on "Oliver forgets about everyone else when his son pops up for his annual kidnapping"? Please send William and Samantha off to another Earth. I can't stand Samantha at all. I can't help but think of other moments we could've gotten in the episode without her around. We didn't see Malcolm's death, so I won't be surprised if he pops up in the future, somehow alive. Even without getting to the boat everyone else is going to and blowing up the island. Loved the Olicity, loved the Felicity/Thea conversation, loved Lance knocking out Black Siren. Loved seeing Moira again. Did not think it was this great finale that people were saying it was all day. No OTA scene. No Felicity/Diggle. Should've been 2 hours. Everything was too rushed. So very rushed.
  6. Am I supposed to really think everyone's dead? Because I don't. IMO, not really much of a cliffhanger...
  7. Has anyone checked the plane where Felicity, Thea, Curtis and Samantha are? I would laugh if William is inside, has heard them all outside and just sat there ... coloring, of course.
  8. Did one of Talia's ninjas just come running into the room from nowhere mid-fight? Was there a reason for that?
  9. LOVED that Felicity/Thea scene. Why are scenes with these two so rare?!
  10. Even if it's part of a plan, I just don't care at this point?
  11. "Go Nyssa. It's time for your fight against your sister." Oh, look, I'm so shocked. So, so shocked. Who could've predicted that? Oh, wait, everyone with a brain. So obviously not Oliver.
  12. Too bad they couldn't "accidentally" leave Samantha on the island.
  13. I don't think that Felicity and Samantha convo was anything special.
  14. Has ARGUS been sending a therapist to talk to Slade weekly?
  15. Yeah, I didn't get that either. Did he think Chase told her, "So, I'm putting you here and taking your son here..."
  16. Run, flashback Oliver! Find your wig!
  17. "I'm not abandoning my post." ARGUS should've had this guy watching Black Siren. I don't think Evelyn could've blackmailed him.
  18. I just hope that if Chase didn't recruit/try to recruit Slade and Boomerang before Oliver even arrived on Lian Yu that there's an explanation for that. Because why wouldn't he try to get the two villains already on the island to work for him?
  19. Maybe they'll be on the boat, think they've won, start planning their summer vacation again, and Felicity will check her email on the tablet Oliver's helpfully brought along and see that the team has been outed?
  20. What did Oliver think would happen? Chase would let him take the time to talk to Slade and Boomerang and wait for them to put on their gear, then wait for conversations on the beach between everyone while their gear is still sitting on the plane, not unloaded, and not strike? Maybe Oliver was expecting a map too, with Xs marking where everyone's being held.
  21. Maybe? Definitely not the ones who can be blackmailed by teenagers because they'd probably let the prisoners go within an hour of arriving on the island. If it would take that long.
  22. If that happens, I think it would shock me more than anything else that could happen in the finale. Possibly ever on the show.
  23. The Felicity/Samantha conversation is in MG's hands. So, obviously not the right hands. Therefore, you're right, it won't fix the damage done. I'm hoping it's not Samantha thinking Oliver and Felicity never broke up and are still together and Felicity having to awkwardly go, "Uh, no, we just started kind of dating again. I dated a guy Chase tricked Oliver into killing, and I think his name was Billy. Weird, right? And Oliver dated a reporter named Susan Williams. Again, weird, right? What's with us and the name William? Oh, and you were completely right last year even though you apparently still haven't told your son not to talk to strangers."
