  1. Half of Christian's collection was all black the other half was cream and brown. Back on topic, I really liked Rik's splatter fabric and I even liked the fact that it was an apron of sorts. But I mostly liked that the guest judge argued for it. I'd like to see the judges disagree more. It would be far more interesting.
  2. I will miss Dexter's voice. He has a great voice. Nathalia's stayed longer than I thought she should (and she literally says literally too much) - but that was a class act exit.
  3. Production on these shows make sure the contestants stay tired. Being tired makes a lot of people over emotional and prone to tears. Some shows provide alcohol for emotional hangovers. I know on season one PR provided alcohol (Jay doing drunk yoga while smoking!). I don't know if they still provide alcohol. But if the contestants are half as emotional as me when I'm tired (or stressed) I get it. I am also annoyed by it, but I get it.
  4. For me there's not a conflict. I'm 57 (get AARP junk in the mail all the time) but just because I'm older doesn't mean I have to or want to look matronly. I stay as far away from matronly looks as a 20 year old would. I didn't care for Mah Jing's look - I hate leather - but would have been okay with it winning because it was something different and seemed pretty well made. I was glad Rik won. Roberi's was nice enough, but the top was too swimsuit like for me. I thought Nathalia should have gone home. At least Jenni's top was fairly nice. Nothing else was, but at least she had that. Nathalia had nothing.
  5. I'm awfully tired today - for a split second I thought you hid and donated your kids! I should go to bed now.
  6. Not just you. I was confused by their Christmas red choice and that it wasn't brought up in judging. I wonder if Sally Beauty gave them a particular color palette to look at before hand. Maybe that's why team neutral went with bland beige when there are more sophisticated neutral colors. If a team is functional (I know team red wasn't but...) I always wonder why they don't prepare for the "who should go home" question. Before the runway decide who will pick who (so each designer gets no more than one down vote) and make the reason small matter of opinion. Like "I don't think anyone should go, but if I have to pick I guess I'd choose Dexter because I really thought that shade of red was a mistake." You picked someone and gave a reason that won't get them sent home. Just prepare, beat the judges at their own game, and avoid the crocodile tears! I'm trying to figure what Roberi's attitude would be if he's around for the inevitable "everyday woman" challenge. Because I think the sweater he designed would work on any size woman. The color blocking was very flattering, maybe a small alteration to the proportions would be needed. I just wonder if he could do the same for a non-model.
  7. Loved the Klingon and Ubbi Dubbi speak! Very clever. And "Where's Waldo" jokes always make me laugh more than they probably should!
  8. I loved Manny's "So I've been carrying this red herring around for nothing?"
  9. Also great if you're a gardener and don't want to drive a truck. You can get many many bags of soil, mulch and compost in it! I loved the conversation about "surprised by my surprise" - I wonder if they needed lots of takes to get it right.
  10. I actually would have swapped out Roberi for Brik and sent either him or Cornelius home. Their looks were so amatuer and sloppy. At least with Brik you could see he put time and work into it. He got the lines of the pants pretty well lined up, I just wish he would have put it with a simple black top
  11. That kid is a terrific actor, I'll b.e watching this one again (ugly as it was).
  12. Thank you, I'm terrible at picking up on things like that! White Bear is still my favorite. This one was a bit long, but very suspenseful and satisfying. I kept thinking about the re-usable produce bags I have, a light enough weave to see through and breath through. I wonder if the ADI's were weaponized enough to get in anyway? Not that there would have been time to get people to bag their heads, but I was surprised they took the blonde woman out of her house without any head protection. No. Pedophiles would be tempting, but (1) I don't think I could live with blood on my hands and (2) I could be wrong. The internet community is great about trying and convicting as if they were actually there, but often the facts aren't actually known.
  13. I thought Nathalia could have saved her original dress by just not covering the whole thing with the beaded fabric (which I loved). She could have cut some out and placed it over the hips or something. But I suppose if she just used part of the beaded fabric by placing it on the dress, she would have been accused of copying Erin, the only person to embellish fabric with gee-gaws.
  14. "Grace Jones is ignoring me!" Truly laughed out loud! I think Mah Jing may have come here to make friends.
  15. And the right turf means he has to find people who are outside to notice. People in these upper crust communities are working. Or going to the car with a million things on their mind. If they go outside to get the paper, Kev would have to know who gets a physical paper and be at each of those houses early in the morning. And the ones who are outside playing with their kids would have to be in the front yard and not the back yard at the exact time Kev had the van parked in their street. Too many variables for me to believe in a big payout happening often.
  16. Broke protocol and his superior demanded several times that he stop taking the restraints off! I had friend that was a paramedic many years ago. Apparently the "patient tries to get out through the back of the ambulance" scenario does happen in real life. So I would think by now there's some kind of safety latch on those doors?
  17. So I'll stick around to see how long Fiona sticks to her guns, but that's about the only plot line I am interested in. Super disappointed Debs didn't end up in jail. Where she belongs. And oh please, men are going to whip out hundreds of dollars to get Kev to move the van? Right. Splash it with paint, maybe. But pay big money? Ugh, stupid.
  18. Can 16 year old kids really get operations without parent's consent? And leave without someone there to get them home? I had minor and had to have a "responsible adult" (I was 53) drive me home and stay with me for at least 12 hours.
