Not at all, as the same thing has crossed my mind. I’d be spending as much of her day with her as I could. Hell, she could become a lunch lady and work 4 hours a day at the school, just to be around her kids. She could be the PTA liaison, she could be a library helper, the list goes on....for all I know all these girls are active in their kids schools, maybe we just don’t see it on camera. But I don’t hear it mentioned much by any of them either. And, like you, I work full time, but take every opportunity to help at the school as a parent volunteer. Thankfully my employer is very encouraging when it comes to community service, so it’s never been a conflict. But Leah doesn’t work outside the home. And all 3 of her kids are in school now. Her house is a mess, for the better part of 10 years we’ve never seen her interested in cooking, so....???? And honestly I don’t care how far the drive to the school is for her. That was her choice to live that far away. She has a child with special needs, she needs to be available at all times to get to that school. What if there was an emergency? She just says, I live out in the holler, I’ll get there when I can? I would be a nervous wreck. I hate having to go over 30 minutes away from our school for work functions, when required. And she clearly has no problem driving to town for her own needs. I don’t shame her for having Ali take the bus, but she is the one who is trying to shame the school and transportation department. She has been provided her parents bill of rights at every single team meeting, USE IT. I know I sound like I’m coming down on Leah for no reason, but she irritates me. She lied for years about her drug use. She didn’t care one bit about getting those girls ready for school or to school on time. Now she has a fancy boyfriend who wears scrubs and she’s little Miss crusader for Ali’s rights?

I don’t watch, but between this comment and the ones from the first day of school, it’s clear Ali is not using the wheelchair like she should be (all the effing time). I find it very hard to believe that the bus driver doesn’t know this little girl by now, yet showed up without a wheelchair accessible bus? That doesn’t happen. At least not in our school district. Unless the parents are complete idiots who didn’t read but signed off on the IEP. My son’s IEP includes curb to curb bus service, they pick him up at our house. There is a subsection in the transportation portion of the IEP that goes on to include any additional services needed (this is where wheelchair access would be marked). And don’t even get me started on the fact that EVERYONE in that school is well aware of who Ali is and what services she should need. You’re going to tell me that this little podunk school that she is in 3rd (?) grade at doesn’t know who she is and what help she needs? That’s BS. I’d be willing to bet that whole town knows sho she is. How many elementary school girls in that district are wheelchair bound? I know it’s not right, but come on, she is the little wheelchair girl whether we want to acknowledge that or not. Leah is lazy and dumb. There is NO reason for her not to be over involved at the school st this point. FFS, she could get certified as a para and work in Ali’s class if she wanted to. But nope, she needs to get back home to bed in the morning, or whatever it is she does all day.

Other than that, there is no reason for this other than vanity. I’m all for co-parenting, but this is not that. Also, what is Mac’s shirt? Looks like it says FUCK and the FU is covered up. That’s where my eyes and my mind went, anyway. Maybe it’s a Calvin Klein shirt, who knows. It looks dumb and was a bad choice for a family photo.

I was thinking about this exact thing! It’s always stung to be left out (even still to this day as an adult at times), but back in the day it was so much easier to hide or not know. I had some horrible times in middle school and high school with this type of thing and just like you it would have spun me out! I’m also with you on the waning “reality” of this show. I want hook ups and freak outs not couple ups and pile ons.

I agree. They both look like they are on the verge of a breakdown at any given time. I’ve never seen either one of them genuinely laugh or look happy. Not that we see all that much of them, but they definitely give off the walking on eggshells vibe. I think Danielle has been a terrible mother to those girls.

What’s the status of the new house? I can’t remember if it’s New Hollywood or Old Hollywood, I get them confused. Has he said anything about the intentions for the properties? TIA, I don’t have access to his radio show.

Hers appear to come from Bloomies, but I got a very similar pair for Christmas from my kiddo that came from Target. Close enough that I took pause during the episode thinking OMG Mel shops at Target like I do! 🤣❤️

The Bitter (sp?) was in the driveway next to the flattened station wagon. I still cannot believe that was a true story! Like @MsNewsradio, I also had to pause because I was dying laughing. This family really had some unreal vehicle stories!

Yeah, why did Danielle say her kids are always with her like that’s a normal thing? Aren’t her girls both in college now? She is so dependent on them and always has been. I don’t know how they put up with her, to be honest. If I was Marge in that argument and Danielle throws that out ther (my kids are always with me), I would have responded yah and that’s fucking weird! If Danielle thinks that makes her a good mom....I’ve got nothing.

I don’t think it’s completely crazy to think that. Of course I don’t think she wants her baby dead, but I can see her using this as yet another trap tactic with Chris. Oh you can’t leave me! Lux is sick! Our special snowflake is on his death bed! It sets Lux apart from his other 2 sibs. And in her eyes that’s one more bad mark against Jo and Javi - they coerced her into vaccinating their respective kids, but with Luz she has all the control because Chris doesn’t give a F. Serious question, tho. Can you catch up on vaccines if you one day decide you do want them? At what age can a kid step up and say I want to be compliant with the recommended vaccines? Do you have to see a separate pediatrician if you are not vaccinated? And insurance is cool with this? I suppose I could google all these answers....
