Has anybody watched the new Netflix show called “Survival of the Thickest”? Funny show! Anyway, the premise is that the main character finds out her live-in boyfriend of five years is cheating on her and she moves into a crappy apartment in Brooklyn. Her best friend comes over to cheer her up and tells her, “ we all have to start somewhere, right? Look at Whoopi. She was brought up in the Chelsea projects. Now look at her she’s bra less in billowing shirts, ugly ass, shoes, and high as a kite on daytime TV.”😛😝😋

OMG, I know Idris Elba can’t be killed off since he is the star of the show, but damn, that ending was intense!

The power went out a couple of episodes ago, and the image in the cafeteria flickered for a second to the blue skies and Green grass image. So, if in reality the view outside is actually the bleak landscape, then what’s the purpose of the fake image?

What I want to know is when Jules bent down to touch the bodies and they shimmered and she then put the sheriff's badge on them and the mayor muttered, "She's figured it out". What does that whole sequence mean? And another question: When she goes outside, she sees the green grass and the blue skies and then her view changes to the bleak view everybody inside the silo sees, which is it?

I also enjoyed this. The funniest line in the whole show was when he was talking about how the lead role in The Terminator came down to him and OJ Simpson. Arnold got it because he said the producers didn't see OJ as a killer!😁

As long as we're ranting, this is another pet peeve: People who can't do simple math in their head. For example, you go to a craft show and buy a $3, $4 and $6 item and the salesperson, says let me get a calculator, and I'm thinking are you kidding me? I'm SO OLD that when I worked at McDonald's the cash registers didn't calculate anything. You had to add it up yourself on your order pad. The manager would check your pads after closing and I was never wrong.
