Back Atcha, if it's any consolation, Whoopi is hardly ever on the podcast. I guess she thinks that since she's such an active participant in the show that she doesn't have to do it.😏🙄

Back Atcha, you need to start listening to the podcast. When she broke her arm roller skating, they initially gave her a soft cast which she didn't wear all the time, so they then gave her a hard cast which she can't take off. She said the advantage of that is that she has all the famous people that are on the View sign her cast. Can you imagine if you're a C-list celebrity, how embarrassed you must be if you are NOT asked to sign her cast? Kinda like how you would feel if Whoopi DOESN'T ask you to come back and hang with the crew for a full day, since she tells that to almost EVERBODY?🤣

UO, but I liked it! Maybe I have a low bar for my shows, but the only thing I ask is that I’m entertained and I see something I haven’t seen before and this show fulfilled both requirements.

I totally agree about Whoopi. What does she even bring to the show? I love Friday’s the best because Joy is a good moderator and she is engaged. What do people on this forum think would happen if Whoopi decided to retire? Would the ratings fall off that much? Maybe her benefit to the show is they can get bookings that they wouldn’t otherwise get?

Another reason that their ratings were bad is because they did hardly any promotion of the show. I LOVE this show, and the only way that I knew the new season was on was because of this forum.

I LOVED Dr. Phil back in the day! I even flew out to LA to attend one of the tapings. But that was back when he was giving credible, actionable advice, but for the last 10 or 15 years, it’s been a sad copy of the Jerry Springer show. 😞
