  1. I like both of the Brothers V but especially am in love with Bryan. Wonder if someone can diagnose personality type by which of the brothers is preferred?
  2. I must be clueless, but in the "show article" (http://previously.tv/top-chef/top-chef-goes-blind/) what do the red "eye with slash through it" and green eye signify?
  3. Ain't that the truth. A speck of salt, hard to cut, vs something that people bring to a church potluck?
  4. I thought I was the only one. I mean, you really can't see it in 99% of the cases in which someone says they can see it (Project Runway Nina I'm talking to you).
  5. Good Lord I'm so naive I didn't even realize that. I was thinking more of the Ben part.
  6. It was pretty darn obvious that they were there to see "The Bachelor" (and his date) and not the "star"
  7. Top chef is returning for another season, and will start casting soon. http://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/top-chef-renewed-for-season-15-casting-call?cid=soc_dg_fb_TopChef
  8. Her boob was also coming out when they were chatting on the couch. Then I think the staff told her to lay her hair over the offending boob so they wouldn't have to keep covering up for her (pun intended).
  9. and all this hugging the guests when they return from dinner. Me, when I return from dinner, would like to be politely greeted "Did you have a nice time? Can I make you a drink? We've built a fire in the fireplace if you'd like to hang out in the living room. And the hot tub is right out back and we could bring you some snacks out there." Then stand back and leave me alone.
  10. Um, does any farm actually milk cows by hand? In the last how many decades?
  11. And WHY is Colton freakin sitting in a hot tub with the guests? In what world is that "service"?
  12. And the reserve two tables at the same restaurant for the two groups, figuring they might want to mingle. What evidence is there that the groups *want* to mingle? Seems like they're just being lazy so they're going to let the two groups entertain each other. Five star indeed.
  13. This was in reference to the makeup artist choosing "Back to Bed Red" lipstick, which I remarked was (IMHO) inappropriate for a kids' challenge. Not that the kids had any choice in the matter.
  14. We did a high end remodel of our "family bath" and installed a curtain with a shower/tub combo. We were replacing an old-fashioned glass sliding door. The reason? We remember in the dark ages when we had little ones (and we expect to eventually sell our home to someone with little ones) that washing a kid in a tub with a metal track for the door is a PITA.
  15. I'm doing Top Chef seasons in order on my elliptical lately and am currently on Season 10 (finale). Kristen came in with only two left (Brooke and Sheldon); she just had to beat the most recently eliminated (Lizzie) to enter the finale as an "equal". I can't recall how they did it in 11, 12, and 13.
  16. a couple of us have noted that. Apparently it was not shown. That seems sloppy, no?
  17. It at least looked like they had some choices for seating, but I guess they both went for benches? Or maybe barstools was their only choice?
  18. I saw them picking out paint colors and plates-- it would have been nice to have a 20 second quickie montage of their choices-- the artwork, the paint, the silverwear and dishware, just to see what the decor really looked like. And I *thought* the choice of white tables and wooden benches was theirs to make, rather than given. At least I thought I recalled them "agreeing on the choice"
  19. In the Butter London studio the makeup artist chatted about "Come to Bed Red" lipstick. Perfectly appropriate for a kids' challenge! (Of course the kids aren't in the room for this format, but it still struck me as icky)
  20. My comments: Why was Padma wearing a red carpet dress to the second dinner? I guess since the pimento cheese thing was bad it doesn't matter, but it drives me nuts when you get a big portion of something (cheese, pate, whatever) and three little crackers to eat it with. Three little crackers for a bowl of his crab thing? The first team was "questioned" (at the judges' table while eating) about benches. Both teams did it as we learned the second night. Just a trendy thing?
  21. I had the same thought. It almost seemed she started the sentence, then realized how silly it was, then tacked on "based on what you've seen of me before. <when I was more lively>" Like when?
  22. I maintain she looks a LOT like Tiffany Trump
  23. Totally agree. And on a similar note (and I know, "scripted" by the producers) they showed Corrine spending lots of time putting on makeup for a fricken' pool party!
  24. In the rose ceremony Christina (I think that's her name-- the one Liz spilled the beans to first) already had a rose. I guess I'm getting senile. When did she get that? On one of the group dates?
  25. @chiaros Thanks for the link. Personally I don't feel like being "shepherded" around for my meal (or herded may be more how I would feel).
