  1. I saw that too. We just redid our bathroom and they laid big sheets of black rubber type material. Seems much more robust than tar.
  2. I also thought they looked dark, but think about soft pretzels sold in Philly or NYC. They are pretty dark too, and taste great.
  3. I like their show better than the other one (Chip and Joanna -- I can't stand the styling that Joanna does-- random shiny "objects" placed around the room rather than real things like books, photos, objects from trips, etc.) I'm not a particular fan of many of Christina's styling choices either, but they usually don't actively bother me.
  4. exactly.
  5. I believe that "someone" was her. She said they "dated" briefly but didn't have chemistry.
  6. I think she's needed the whole season to compete in order to fully grasp what the judges like about her so she can do it bigger and better in the fashion week collection. I don't think she necessarily HAS a direction of her own (or at least she's had it molded by whatever is floating the judges boats this season).
  7. I agree. It seemed to be a weird combo of dark gray and a kind of brownish gray. Not at all attractive IMHO. And man, that master bath shower was TINY. I know they didn't have much to work with but that looked about the diameter of a medium large human being..
  8. I have FiOS and don't see LCK on it either.
  9. I don't get the hate for Casey re: Carla's demise. It's totally on the competing chef to take, or not take, any advice given.
  10. totally agree. I hate food being wasted.
  11. That cat is the spitting image of my daughter's cat. I sent the family a screen shot (I was watching on the computer) and we all agreed that must have been Bella's location before she was adopted by my daughter at the pet shelter :) In Boston, Mass mind you :) That former introduction was so weird, wasn't it?
  12. Oh yeah and they were AMAZING waffles according to Erin. I stay in places that have those waffle makers. They're "fine."
  13. Me too! That conventional look did look like mismatched neckties. I could not believe how much everyone loved it.
  14. I thought exactly the same thing. He used HER YELLOW!
  15. and hadn't she bragged about not being a micromanager? And here she is micromanaging Jamie. I agree, he did the right thing there. But man it was like talking to a 5 year old. He had to repeat himself in 10 different ways. "The answer is still no"
  16. At the beginning of that scene they showed that it was 45 degrees which is pretty darn warm for skiiing. I've done spring skiing in the Sierras when it was around 40 degrees, and you can easily ski in a t-shirt in that temp (and while I haven't done that, I ski hatless and lightly covered). So I can imagine it not being ridiculously cold, and it gets a laugh, I guess. I wondered that too, then wondered if he said that's the only thing he won't do? But not at all sure.
  17. exactly!
  18. That was really obnoxious. Wasn't there a stew in a previous season who did that sort of thing? I'm terrible with names, but she was constantly acting entitled and obnoxious. (I looked it up-- Samantha on season 1)
  19. ^Project Runway
  20. I watch PR and TC either On Demand (FiOS) or directly on the websites for the shows--
  21. Mark is a jerk. Thinking it's ok to shower in the guest quarters is absolutely ridiculous. And he kept acting like the boss was being picky to call him on it. The team should not be partying with the guests. I'd much rather be back in the house like Jaimie (but without the mess to clean up all by myself!)
  22. well the *entire* cast (other than Gibbons himself) is new.
  23. not sure why the bothered to rename it. Same site, same company, same ski slopes, same bungee jumping.
  24. Yeah- the "how does this make you feel?" from Padma. I mean, what the heck are they *supposed* to say.
