  1. I really wonder why the main guest (who seemed like a decent sort -- certainly showed no signs of being a jerk) is hanging around with that group.
  2. Right down to the little bows that everyone was jumping down his throat for!
  3. I thought the model looked like she was about to cry being told she looked like that. I mean it's totally not her fault how they dress and style her, but it looked like she was mortified.
  4. That was my point that I was trying to nicely make. All milk that comes out of mammary glands is dairy, so it includes goats and sheep. So I didn't understand "I don't eat dairy... I eat goat and sheep milk"
  5. I'm not sure that I would call goat and sheep cheese "dairy free." What is your criteria?
  6. I think we're not supposed to talk about stuff outside the episodes, but you can google Kate Chastain. She was in the news recently.
  7. I think Ben should have put a slice of lemon in every glass to see if she knew what that meant :)
  8. The way it was presented she missed one or two of the courses while waiting on the salad, didn't she?
  9. I thought Sierra was just being ditzy when she told that troublesome diner that she wasn't getting a tasting menu. That's nuts. I certainly would have expected her to get just as many courses: eating the shared ones when it fit her restrictions, and getting a bite of something else when it didn't. Two courses were in a shot glass! (Gazpacho too) I'm sorry that doesn't really count as a "course." Not without at least some garnish or crunch or something to make it not-a-shot.
  10. ah, you're correct. Guess he doesn't take her "particulars" too seriously either!
  11. wasn't the trouble-girl "no seafood except for fish"? And Kate called conch "fish". That's shellfish, which I would call in the category of "seafood that is NOT fish"????
  12. I always notice that everyone is barefoot on these boats, which I love as I prefer being barefoot all the time. I assume it is because shoes would mess up the nice wood decks. I recall (I think on BD Med, or maybe last season's BD) a country hoe down party where everyone was wearing cowboy boots. THAT is sanctioned on a yacht?
  13. Sierra just suggested goat cheese. Isn't the troublesome guest "no dairy"?
  14. I wondered about that. Why does he have authority to essentially deny a person his own bed? I could see confining him to his bed, but not denying him the bed.
  15. The blue one looks better. I think that's because it's on a thinner model. Go figure.
  16. I think that might be a result of putting it on a size 6 instead of a size 2 :)
  17. I wouldn't buy it based on that photo. Not particularly flattering.
  18. That would have helped a lot. I also kind of liked the dress, though I think a couple fewer details would have been nicer. I like the fabric itself.
  19. No mortgage means no bank appraisal which can get in the way (if the bank doesn't agree the property is worth the purchase price, they would not get their money back in foreclosure). And yes, it can happen essentially immediately. On Million Dollar Listing it seems like that's pretty much the only way those high-end deals work.
  20. I did think "I hope those are made from some seriously light material"
  21. And by totally filling the yard with concrete, they completely shut out any buyer who might want a small vegetable garden or a swing set for goodness sake.
  22. Perhaps because the kids were designing for themselves or their peers, and the adults are trying to be the next NY Fashion Week star. it is sad that most things shown require not only a very tall, thin, woman, but also one who has essentially no breasts.
  23. exactly-- she stands there like she's saying "aren't I *amazing*?" And oh, Milano ..... somehow she managed to always look short, dumpy, and trashy.
  24. That makes sense. Someone might buy a decent version of Linda's outfit; Brik's outfit made absolutely no sense at all.
  25. I wonder if they are real wicker, or sort of plastic. I have some that look just like that (not from J&M though). And those "fire tubes" were weird. Cool, but I think after one week, you'd just think they were weird.
