  1. Brik: "It has a little bit of a retro, future vibe." Ya think? It looked straight out of the Jetsons.
  2. well if she was the gal in the video maybe she just wanted to put *anything* on so she's not naked anymore :)
  3. There seems to be a lot of this "false setting" on reality shows. I'm rewatching Top Chef Texas and the two guys from Moto seem surprised to see one another there. Like really, two guys from the same restaurant make plans to take a "leave of absence" simultaneously and they don't know? And one is the boss of the other?
  4. I totally agree. She also had a nice rather than nasty personality, and cooked well enough to get to the finals, no small feat. Yes that's right. She messed up a number of things and managed to avoid elimination by sheer dumb luck, much like Jaimie (sp?) in her NY season.
  5. Amanda from Season 7 (I've recently rewatched) looked a bit like Leah from the Hosea and Leah season. She was young and kind of cocky but went reasonably far (I'm too lazy to look up on Wikipedia)
  6. interesting; yes I thought her exit from all stars was not very classy. But I think she's a good chef. I'd be willing to give her another chance.
  7. Kelley: "Being proactive backfires on me." No, you weren't being proactive, you were making stupid assumptions. As a guest I'd be pretty ticked off to waste however long of my vacation watching those idiots get ready for me to go snorkeling.
  8. Those blue roses were hideous. I can't stand obviously dyed flowers. And speaking of dyed, both Emily and Kate need to work on their roots.
  9. here's another one. I guessed this pretty easily so won't spoil it unless someone wants me to. I will say this is one of my favorites
  10. The hot sauce reference makes me think Isaac. Wasn't he from New Orleans or there-abouts?
  11. In Erin's "audition" she showed a lot of things in that color. And then the candy dress was that color. She LOVES that color.
  12. Alex's dress looked like one of those challenges to make a prom dress out of duct tape. And he didn't even use the colorful "fashion" duct tape.
  13. Erin sure does love her yellow...
  14. Just starting to watch now after reading this thread first; in the "team picking" segment at the beginning, Cornelius picked Mah-Jing and knew his name perfectly well!
  15. And in the same vein I can't stand "woman" being used as an adjective. As in "woman Senator" or "woman engineer."
  16. I'm thinking of this for election night (though I hope not to be killing any pain!)
  17. I thought she definitely looked uncomfortable, like if she didn't reciprocate the affection Ro would be mad at her, but that she wasn't really comfortable going at it in front of her colleagues. Jeez, what normal person would be?
  18. While that bit is not "almost dying" (and I agree there was other bad stuff) getting stuck on coral is really unpleasant. The waves toss you and you really have no control and you can get pretty darned banged up.
  19. yes that would be a graceful look, wouldn't it?
  20. I also was very impressed. The way he had a virtual belt-- it seems he *must* have had some plan in mind for how he used it. But you're right, it had more going on than a simple geometric pattern.
  21. Did you notice that in her head shot she was wearing a "novelty print" that was actually a "diving girl" not that different from her print. I thought her print was kind of silly looking though; I don't mind novelty prints, but the proportions were off and the graphic itself was kind of "un-artistic" Love his hair!
  22. when they were showing the models with Heidi's line the camera kept going up and down the bodies.... slowly.... it seemed very voyeuristic to me. Can't you just show the whole body (including, you know, the face) and let us appreciate the suit? she does have an amazing body. I wish as a 50 some woman I was anywhere close to her.
  23. Some of these designers seemed to have no clue how a bra top needs to work. I'm especially surprised when a woman hasn't noticed how they work. You cannot just lay fabric over a boob and expect it to "support" anything. You need some sort of band attached to something more gathered. Duh!
  24. I notice on some reality shows that brands *sometimes* get blurred out. I figure that's exactly the reason.
