  1. Yeah, he was being awfully pushy.
  2. So I gather hitting golf balls off a boat is "a thing." Who knew? :)
  3. It was really hard to tell but I thought that was someone crouching, looking in a low cabinet. They did seem to be hiding in the next little scene, but again, to me it looked like a crouching adult. I was bothered by the idea of littering the harbor with golf balls.
  4. I always wondered about that-- they are congratulating each other and themselves and I thought it would be obvious who did what.
  5. But Cousin It had gray hair! I'm sure of it! (The episodes were in B&W)
  6. Am I missing something? Isn't it still in NYC? Are all of those shots of the city and yellow cabs just filler?
  7. I agree. What he sent down the runway was just plain weird. A narrow necklace fringe is "different"; going the whole 9 yards starts to make me think of a Duck Dynasty beard.
  8. I had exactly the same thought. Probably just to fulfill the sponsorship mention quota. But it's ridiculous. I guess the alternative is to force the contestants to say stupid stuff like "these Brother sewing machines are amazing!"
  9. absolutely! The fabric in between the appliques was rippling and bunching in terrible ways.
  10. He is a stylish dude. I enjoy seeing what he shows up in.
  11. I think Tasha's original direction *might* have worked with a design that did not look like "garden party." With that print, she would have to do something edgy. She would have been much better off.
  12. Brik: "It has a little bit of a retro, future vibe." Ya think? It looked straight out of the Jetsons.
  13. well if she was the gal in the video maybe she just wanted to put *anything* on so she's not naked anymore :)
  14. There seems to be a lot of this "false setting" on reality shows. I'm rewatching Top Chef Texas and the two guys from Moto seem surprised to see one another there. Like really, two guys from the same restaurant make plans to take a "leave of absence" simultaneously and they don't know? And one is the boss of the other?
  15. I totally agree. She also had a nice rather than nasty personality, and cooked well enough to get to the finals, no small feat. Yes that's right. She messed up a number of things and managed to avoid elimination by sheer dumb luck, much like Jaimie (sp?) in her NY season.
  16. Amanda from Season 7 (I've recently rewatched) looked a bit like Leah from the Hosea and Leah season. She was young and kind of cocky but went reasonably far (I'm too lazy to look up on Wikipedia)
  17. interesting; yes I thought her exit from all stars was not very classy. But I think she's a good chef. I'd be willing to give her another chance.
  18. Kelley: "Being proactive backfires on me." No, you weren't being proactive, you were making stupid assumptions. As a guest I'd be pretty ticked off to waste however long of my vacation watching those idiots get ready for me to go snorkeling.
  19. Those blue roses were hideous. I can't stand obviously dyed flowers. And speaking of dyed, both Emily and Kate need to work on their roots.
  20. here's another one. I guessed this pretty easily so won't spoil it unless someone wants me to. I will say this is one of my favorites
  21. The hot sauce reference makes me think Isaac. Wasn't he from New Orleans or there-abouts?
  22. In Erin's "audition" she showed a lot of things in that color. And then the candy dress was that color. She LOVES that color.
  23. Alex's dress looked like one of those challenges to make a prom dress out of duct tape. And he didn't even use the colorful "fashion" duct tape.
  24. Erin sure does love her yellow...
  25. Just starting to watch now after reading this thread first; in the "team picking" segment at the beginning, Cornelius picked Mah-Jing and knew his name perfectly well!
