  1. Absolute truth, especially the idea of tweaking the ebook reader. I hated this presentation.
  2. I guess anyone commenting here was a hate watcher. I did not realize reruns were reduced. Commenting here was much reduced from TWOP levels. Oh, well, I will miss it. I'm not sure I like the sound of the new show.
  3. Didnt they recently show an episode with Danny and Linda reminiscing about ice skating when they were young teens? Weren't they dating?
  4. I believe she was going out with Danny in junior high. She was a known quantity with no bad history. Unless she shoplifted bubble gum or something like that.
  5. This episode is significant because of her relationship with the guy who took the photos. So a lot of filler to get to that last scene where we're not sure whether he is going to delete the pix.
  6. Well, I watched it while on the treadmill this morning. It was really kind of dull.
  7. Jaime Camil is the sexiest man alive--everyone should watch La Fea Mas Bella! I'm very late to this party. I read something only yesterday in Slate about how Jaime Camil was on this so I started watching the pilot. His role is really small, but I liked the show a lot.
  8. I really liked this episode, with the theme of lying woven throughout. I recognized Jean Marsh as the mean mother.
  9. This type of film has just become tired. It's like a repeat of Lazy Sunday. Give me more Jebediah Atkinson. I could watch a half hour of him every week. Bring back Kenan Thompson's sex tapes with the old guy in the garage. Hilarious.
  10. Thanks, Puffaroo. I think I may have already deleted Scratchy Car Fight. Maybe not, though!
  11. Boyfriend seemed to . support her weight loss but why didn't he have a job? I hate when stuff like that goes unanswered in what purports to be a documentary of sorts.
  12. I love the William Holden episode andvthe Albuquerque visit. Another one that makes me double up with laughter is the one where Lucy learns golf from Jimmy Demaret. You can catch it on Youtube. They trick Fred and Ricky by doing silly moves like a hop skip and a jump Before hitting the ball. I just love Lucy all the time.
  13. Google Eyes is a man. I think someone posted a screen shot a couple of pages above. Oh, wait a minute--is there an audience member named "Googly Eyes"? I've never seen her. I was referring to the plaintiff in the rental case! Yes, please post a picture of the audience member!
  14. I have to watch all British shows with closed captions. I can't understand anything!
  15. I am not minding this shorter version. I felt that during the last season the episodes seemed too drawn out. We don't need to see more of them going through the tasks.
  16. Wow, stay off this forum for two days and what do I miss? Good god, this is insane!
  17. The stealing stepfather: I thought it was another example of JJ's making plaintiffs do a police report to prove they weren't in collusion with defendant. She never says it outright, but rather she says "You see where I'm going?" I bet they never file one. The explanation of why they didn't file was spurious. Quintuple Cappucino: Wow, I was waiting all weekend for that from the previews, but once it was on I actually felt sorry for her. She is clearly mentally ill. As noted earlier, interesting that JJ let her go on and on. Very rare for JJ. I think JJ did not think she was being insubordinate. She couldn't control herself. Goggle-eyed roommate: Goggle-eye clearly was scamming the other guy to live there without paying the rent. He said he would get a wire transfer from his mother and then didn't pay. His argument that the guy wouldn't have let him move in without paying didn't hold up. There was definitely some kind of romantic relationship gone wrong. So once Goggle-eye was in, he was in, and he knew the law--no self-help evictions allowed. Eyebrows would have had to send written notice, go to court, etc. So Eyebrows really screwed himself by lying to the police to get the protective order. JJ's unpeeling of Eyebrows's lies was masterful.
  18. Sugar-daddy plaintiff: what a getup! We didn't get to see until the hallterview that she was wearing rompers to go with her necktie, suspenders, giant earrings, and candy-colored faux-hawk.
  19. Sarcastico, when this happens, I watch at 10 PM on channel 55. Do you get that channel? Channel 55 is a CBS affiliate in NYC area.
  20. So how does one see these in advance in the U.S.? Is it some bootleg download? I wouldn't mind seeing Downton Abbey.
  21. PBS lets you watch many shows on their website also.
  22. I love it so far. Have you seen it in the UK? I looked up the actor playing sister's boyfriend. I knew I had seen him somewhere. He was in Silk, another show I loved. I am eagerly awaiting season 2.
  23. He was really nasty when Cynthia showed up late at the bar. And when she was holding his face to get his attention . . girl, just get out of there. Ayden was so cute when he called his brother a rascal.
