  1. The episode started off so heartwarming with Brittany seeing the multicolored "unicorn," I should have known it would all go to hell. I hope Ray manages to stop smoking although I can't help thinking that his withdrawal from nicotine was part of the reason that he lost it so quickly with Ally's brother. He is usually far more controlled when Brittany and Ally are around. My heart broke for Ray and Ally during that break up scene. They both were so sad and broken. I am glad that she is protecting herself and not risking becoming a victim of domestic violence again. I want to believe that Ray will never hurt her and I know that he believes that he never will, but how can Ally be certain after how he bashed her brother and she does not even know what he really does for a living.
  2. IKR?! There is just something off about DCEU. You would think that they would learn after the success of Christian Bale's Batman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. They should just make straightforward adaptations.
  3. The old comments are why Hollywood won't cast mature women in leading roles and pressures women to mutilate their faces to look "younger." I am sure Linda Hamilton could have had cosmetic surgery before she started filming the movie, she just chose not to. Besides cosmetic surgery can do only do so much as you age, look at Arnold.
  4. It would be nice if Joe had equal number of scenes bonding with his daughter over her impending loss for a change. After four years of endless heart to hearts, I think that Barry and Joe's scenes have lost their emotional punch and just feel repetitive.
  5. Never give the CW or CBS the benefit of the doubt when it comes to diversity. Black Lightning was originally developed for FOX. The CW only picked it up after FOX decided not to. Other than Black Lightning, Iris on The Flash is really the only Black actor in a major comic role on a DCTV show and that is because Geoff Johns and DC insisted. Look at the new Arrow spin off, not one Black woman among the three women leads. RME.
  6. If she is staying for the whole season, then I do hope that she is kept in B and C stories away from the main cast which has gelled and is very strong.
  7. Yeap, it was the FBI feeding the media to break Richard Jewell. He did get settlements from media organizations for their role in the debacle. People always thought the stress the FBI and media put on him contributed to his health declining and his eventual death at such a young age. I remember watching Jewell's interview and thinking how lucky those people got that he spotted the other bombs and took quick action. When the FBI played the audiorecording of person who gave the warning, it was obviously not Jewell. The voice and accent on the recording were so different. I have no clue how the FBI came to suspect Jewell. I probably won't watch this until it is out on Blu Ray. I am pretty much done with Clint Eastwood.
  8. I didn't realize that Rhonda Rousey was joining the cast for the whole season. Ugh,why? She can't act and lacks charisma.
  9. They probably don't want to explicitly blame Nora. It is pretty clear that her time traveling shenanigans are responsible for bringing the crisis forward.
  10. No, but the scene was reportedly filmed for the Legends and we know that Barry is back then. Of course, this doesn't mean that Barry doesn't die, but to kill him and bring him back an episode later, doesn't feel like a reboot more like a cheat. To me a reboot is having Barry return to an alternative timeline where his parents never died or maybe the villains he defeated are back. Much like what happened with he altered the timeline with Flashpoint.
  11. It is possible that Monitor goes to all the earths and tells all the Flashes that they will die. Ha. I suppose that Barry could die, but after seeing the photo of Barry talking to Sarah from Legends after he returned, I am doubtful. The reboot Wallace is hinting at could be about the merged earths changing Central City or an alternation in the timeline. As long Barry is back by the time the show returns in the new year, I am cool.
  12. The only one I am certain about is that the Flower is Patti LaBelle. I have seen her concert live and have most of her CDs. Her voice is distinctive. Ms. Patti can't fool me any more than Gladys Knight could. On the live thread, I took a guess that the Fox is Wayne Brady and I am sticking with it for now. I have heard him sing so many times over the years and the Fox sounds exactly like him. I guessed Wanda Sykes for the Penguin, but thought the body type doesn't fit. However, I have been looking at pictures of her this morning and she is busty so I think that it could be her.
  13. I have thinking that maybe this is a purgatory or hell for killers because a death is involved in the characters' backstories.
  14. I also love the show's commitment to the 80s with the clothes and the music. The aerobics scenes were hilarious and so real. People were so into aerobics, it was ridiculously intense.
  15. I am enjoying this so much. It is so campy. I got it wrong that Brooke imagined the attack and was one of the killers, but got it right that there are multiple killers with different agendas. Poor Mr. Jingles and the guy with the huge penis. I don't want Candy (the faux nurse) to die, but she really does have it coming. I felt for the guy with the boiled face. I am not sure about the supernatural goings on, but I am beginning to think that everyone is dead and is replaying the events surrounding their deaths.
  16. Nick was funny again tonight. I can't believe that Ken told Robin to shut his hole. *shakes head* Drew was a surprise. The show upped its costume game this season.
  17. The anti-vaxxer idiot came the closest with Adam Corolla.
  18. Dr. Drew?! No one came close.
  19. What about Wanda Sykes for the Penguin? I think the body type doesn't work.
  20. Nick Cannon is funny as hell this season.
  21. The Peguin is hilarious. I vote for her to stay.
  22. Eagle can't sing for his life. He is sing talking. Hilarious.
  23. I have seen Leslie Odom in concert and listened the Hamilton cd over and over again, it definitely isn't him. If it turns out to be Patti LaBelle and Wayne Brady, they will be my first correct guess since Gladys Knight last season.
  24. This is a long shot, but this voice reminds me of Wayne Brady.
  25. The Fox costume is very good. Ken thinks every man is Jaime Foxx.
