  1. The walkers had not bitten him as yet. He was swinging a stick around as they converged on him. I agree that it is another moral question. I could barely look when I watched live, but on my re-watch, I realized that It was pretty cool how they showed the walker eating his face. I would love to see how they achieved that effect.
  2. I think that Rick and everyone in his group have risked their lives to save each other and strangers over and over again. It is why they have all survived so long and have gotten to be such a large tight-knit group. However, this does not mean that they have always gotten it right. I think that they were at a particularly low point when they ignored the guy with the backpack on the road. Yet I find it hard to think that it would have been wise to let him in a car with them. In this case, Rick and Michonne who are far more experienced than Carl were right to be cautious. The person calling for help could have been luring them into a trap. I actually thought that was exactly what Joe and company were doing until it turned out to be a stranger in real danger. When they saw the situation, they made the decision that they could not help him. I re-watched and it is hard to tell. Rick, Michonne, and Carl were tired and hungry, did not have a lot of ammo at that point, and there were a lot of walkers who had already surrounded the guy.
  3. I can't believe that the writers intend to stick Nick and Juliette with that kid. Rather I am hoping that Nick not getting a chance to propose is omen that Juliette's death is on the horizon. Nick needs something to jump start him into action beyond his Wesen case of the week. His mother seems far more aware of the danger that Renard poses than Nick does. I had to roll my eyes where Nick told his mother that Renard would kill her. She is a Grimm. Renard is the one who should be in afraid. The writers can be so inconsistent at times. This did not occur to me. I think that you nailed it. It could also be a budgetary issue.
  4. I can't believe that Rosalee is going to be married in that dowdy dress. It will probably be ruined in an upcoming fight and she will be married in something else.
  5. I have hated this Adalind/baby story from the start and hate it even more now. A supernatural child of destiny is so cliche and dumb. If only she could die and the child disappear, maybe Bud and his wife can raise it. I also want Nick and Renard to become real enemies so he can have some conflict in Portland instead of a continent away. Ideally, Renard gets Juliette killed or seriously injured, Nick turning against him. And what happened to the coins that Nick's mother was supposed to destroy?
  6. Re Carl: Shane was an attempted rapist and murderer which is why the people "important to him" ran from him as far as they could get. Carl was budding sociopath like Shane. At least, Carl had an excuse struggling to grow up a Zombie Apocalypse. I think that Rick brought Carl back from the edge. Carl might think himself a monster, but when that stranger was attacked by the walkers and screamed for help, Carl ran to help him with a second thought and when Carl was attacked, he let Michonne comfort him. Carl is still more like his father and as long as he has his father and now Michonne, I think that he will stay that way..
  7. Justified has not met its high standards this season. I thought last week was a great episode and it was getting back on track, but this episode was not very good. It feels like the writers are desperately trying to make things too convoluted so we don't see how Raylan and Boyd will extricate themselves from this mess. Raylan was being such an ass that I was glad when Boyd called him out on his involvement in Nicky Augustine's death. Raylan looked so shocked. Had he really forgotten that Boyd went there with him just as the shooting was about to go down? How could Raylan threaten to get Ava hurt? Ava of all people? He should be ready to fight to the death for her. I just hope that Boyd gets his share of the drug money so that Ava is out of prison next week because I have had enough of her prison drama. I don't buy for a second that Boyd has turned his back on her. Just last week, he made Jimmy promise to help her. Boyd has his own plan to get her out of prison that does not involve the Marshalls. I felt sorry for Jimmy crying as he betrayed Boyd. I am sure that Boyd will forgive him and find a way to save all of them from Mr. Yun's henchmen. As for the Crowes, Dewey is the best of the lot which is not saying much. What a tool! I will miss him.
  8. I stopped watching this show in season 2 and only caught the repeats now and then, however, I tuned for the finale. I don't get why they did not just make Robin the mother. Was that too easy so they had to put Ted and Robin with different people? Why waste all time with Barney and Robin's romance and courtship? I never thought they belonged together anyway so their divorce felt inevitable.
  9. The explanation is that they trap people, kill, and eat them. The people crying for help in the other freight carriers when Rick and the others were running certainly did not volunteer to be locked up like cattle any more than Rick's group did.
  10. I can't see Susannah making difference to Aidan's surviving. Whatever their past, they are strangers to each other. The idea that Susannah could think that Aiden would kill Kenny or let her kill him shows that she has no clue who he is or had become. Sally is the only woman who I think could help Aidan moving forward and I don't see that happening.
  11. So the house possessed Kenny at the end? He was real? I would have liked him to have a chance to get it right in a way that Aidan never did. I think the house will be destroyed in the end. I can see Aidan dead. Sally getting her door or getting trapped with Donna. I would kill Josh as well, but with Nora pregnant, they will likely get a happily ever after.
  12. Andy Lincoln was an entertaining guest. I enjoyed the stories that he shared and his insight into Rick. I had seen him in so many British shows/movies that it was odd the first time I saw him accent-less on TWD. Good to hear his real voice. He and Steven Yeun are such a good looks guys when groomed and cleaned up. Favorite celebrity guests: Yvette Nicole Brown, Aisha Tyler, CM Punk, and Scott Porter
  13. Forgot to mention how much I love Michonne and Carl's relationship. First, she comforts him, and then she confides in him about the terrible things that she had done. They are developing a mother/son relationship that feels real and the natural result of all the horrible things that they experience together.
  14. Great season finale, lots of suspense, action, and a solid cliffhanger. Rick went all walker on Jeff Kober's character and gutted the pedophile rapist over and over again. Michonne taking out the two guys, followed by Daryl taking down his two guys. I knew Terminus would be no good. It was a trap, but I liked that Rick was wary, burying the extra weapons and was observant enough to see that they were wearing their people's clothes and had Hershel's watch. Bet, he gets that back for Glenn before taking them out. The skeletal and remains and the people in the train car calling for help was terrifying. Those Terminus people need to be torn apart. It was great to see Hershel again, poignant. It was such a hopeful time in the prison, but that is all gone now. I hope that they find Beth alive one day.
