  1. This was a fun episode. My favorite story was Cam, Mitchell, and Lily at the dry cleaners. Mitchell's reaction to Lily hooked on to the moving clothes rack was hilarious as was both of them acting indignant when the dry cleaner asked where Lily came from.
  2. AMC has released the first spoiler picture of season 5: http://www-deadline-com.vimg.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/First-Look-TWD-S5_1__140513190954.jpg
  3. FOX is giving Sleepy Hollow 18 episodes. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2014/05/12/fox-2014-15-schedule-announced-gotham-mondays-bones-shifts-to-thursday-brooklyn-nine-nine-joins-sunday/262992/
  4. I don't think the cast is bloated just poorly used. However, I do think that the show would benefit from cutting Adalind and Renard who are dead weight. I used to think that Juliette should go, but there does seem to be a place for her, especially with Teresa's arrival.
  5. I would not think that it would have been too difficult for Josh's father (can't remember his name) to track down Nick. I would expect the news of a different kind of Grimm who is a cop in Portland would quickly spread among the Wesen across the country. Since Josh's father is a Grimm who can see Wesen, he easily could get the news from he less dangerous Wesen like Bud. Monroe telling Rosalee that weddings were so stressful so you only do it once was funny as was the gang's reaction when Josh said that at least now he knows that his father was not crazy, unless they all were. I did like Rosalee and Juliette reaching out to Teresa. She needs kind people like them to befriend her and give her emotional stability.
  6. They have to quit with the name, Trouble. It is embarrassingly bad and is undermining a solidly written character.
  7. After thinking about it, I highly doubt that Penny and Leonard are going to get married anytime soon, if at all. I expect that she will get lots of buzz when her gorilla C movie becomes a cult hit, Her career will take off causing her to postpone the wedding indefinitely. This way Leonard and Sheldon will live together interrupted until the series finale.
  8. Another great episode. Teresa's arrival has been a huge plus for the show. Nick's life has become much more exciting having a young unruly Grimm around. I hope she will become a regular. I still don't believe for a second that the writers have a clue what the big secret is that the Grimm Knights' hid, but it is good they have not completely forgotten about that part of the mytharc. As for Adalind, don't care! I just hope that the season finale is the end of her. As usual, Renard is useless and contributes nothing to the show. At least, Wu got some plain clothes fun. From the previews, the wedding promises to be action packed.
  9. I enjoyed the episode. I was happy for Raj the most. He has come a long way and deserves a woman who cares about him and shows him her tattoos. I was happy for Penny and Leonard also. I was actually relieved as I said, "It is about time." I don't see Penny choosing Leonard as a fall back as much as a recognition that he is the man for her and her future is with him regardless of the state of her acting career. Anyway, it feels like they have been making up excuse after excuse to hold their relationship in place so Leonard and Sheldon's living arrangement would not be changed. I was glad that Bernadette agreed to get a nurse to help care for Howard's mother. I too am not fond of Sheldon and Amy's relationship. I think that he treats her abominably. She must have no self-esteem to stay with him. I think that the show should end with Amy with someone new, while Sheldon lives in Leonard and Penny's basement.
  10. HalcyonDays, you should tweet this historical info to the show's producers/writers because they are limiting the ethnic casting of these extras out of ignorance or maybe it is deliberate.
  11. I cracked up when the kids were eavesdropping on Claire and Phil and fled when they heard the door lock. Blood sausages are delicious. Jay does not know what he is missing.
  12. Wow, the Jay/Mitchell stuff was brought the serious. I liked it though. It felt real. I hope that they let Jay and Mitchell have a tough conversation with Jay starting to find a way to truly accept his son and his family. I don't want them to just sweep it under the rug and give them a happy ending next week.
  13. And when Abbie and Ichabod's romance never happens? What then, Abbie misses out on a great love waiting for a man who will never fall in love with her? As for diminished airtime, most of the airtime and scenes are Abbie and Ichabod so if they are pushing Katrina, the airtime will likely be taken from Abbie or they will put Abbie in scenes with the supporting characters more.
  14. Is anyone in the main cast on this show not related to each other or the big bad of the moment? I would be surprised if Hook was not related to Black Beard.
  15. Based on the writers' comments and their determination to integrate Katrina more, I don't see an Ichabod/Abbie romance ever happening so I am glad that Abbie is getting a love interest, even if we rarely see him. If I had my way, Andy would redeem himself, become human again, and Abbie would slowly fall for him because I love John Cho and want him to become a regular member of the cast. I just read that casting call for Revolutionary era soldiers. Many enslaved Africans escaped and fought for the British so they could cast some black men to play some of those soldiers.
  16. They got rid of Rosalee's fugly wedding dress and she looks gorgeous in the new one. http://www.spoilertv.co.uk/images/grimm/Season%203/Misc/Grimm+-+Episode+3.22+-+Blond+Ambition+-+TV+Guide+Scan.jpg.php
  17. I could never get into 24, but I watched this out of curiosity. I am calling it now. Tate Donovan's character is drugging the President to cause his memory loss.
  18. Rumpelstlitskin tricking Belle was the only thing that I liked about the episode. He is the only character who is written consistently. He is the only character whose actions make a lick of sense. Unlike the irrational Regina redemption, loving Bae and Belle does not make Rumpel magically good or even redeem him even though Belle wants to believe it. Another spell, another reset, another world. Know what, I think that I am close to done with this show. I am tired of the repetitiousness.
  19. Seriously, it is time the writers to wrap up Adalind's story and send her on her way. As much as I like Sasha Roiz, Renard should go too because the writers refusal to make a villain and/or Nick's true nemesis has made him a useless character who basically contributes nothing most of the season. Roiz is a good actor who could do so much more. He would be a fearsome, but they refuse to give him the material. The writers have clear vision about Teresa so she has much more promise as a regular character. A Wesen killing her foster parents and never being caught, gives her a mission to avenge them. If the writers can't or won't give the show a credible villain, they should stick to what they do best write for another hero. I would also like see Wu forming a friendship with Teresa. She and Hank could help Wu accept the Wesen. At first, I did not want Wu be part of the gang, but I think that his humorous comments about Wesen would be hilarious. catrox14, I agree with you that this episode felt like more like the first season Grimm. It had that darkness, action, and sense of not knowing what was going to happen next. Yes, I knew Teresa was going to try to set up Donna, but putting the coins in the drink was a nice twist that I did not expect. It made Teresa seem like someone who had a difficult life having actually lived on the streets. Hank using the car to ram the building was unexpected and made me laugh. Also, I was genuinely surprised that Donna turned out to be a Wesen.
  20. Best episode in forever. Other than the neverending tedious Adalind rubbish, I thought this was an entertaining episode. The name Trubel is ridiculous, but Teresa is already shaping up to be a good character. I like that she has her baggage, but is trying to learn. She has made Nick's life difficult and uncomfortable is a good thing. I hope that the writers are intending to make Teresa a regular. The actual case of the week was great. Good to see Michael Graziadei getting work after Y&R, he was excellent as the terrifying Fagan. I felt for the girls. I loved that Teresa was trying to save them. She could have been one of them if she was not a Grimm. Her reaction of "oh crap" when she realized that there were two Wesen was hilarious. I loved Hank going to get the car so he could drive into the building. Nick's desperation to save and protect Teresa was pretty moving. I have to say that I wonder how Nick and Hank explain all the dead bodies and disappearing suspects around them, but I am willing to not to think very hard about it. The previews promise that final episodes might actually be interesting. I hope they are. I am confident that the writers do not know what the Royals are up to which is why they keep it vague and constantly change the story with the Royals and the Resistance. The last post I made about the previews got edited so maybe it is against the rules to talk about them here, but I will say that I am surprised that the writers even remember the keys, they have clearly forgotten about the dangerous coins that Kelly was supposed to destroy. Oh, I was also glad that Nick mentioned moving the trailer. At this point, everybody and their mother knows where it is stored.
  21. I loved that Death Star cake! I wish someone would make one for me. Overall, I really enjoyed the episode. Bernadette and Amy are a great pairing. I was enjoying Leonard and Penny up to the proposal. I wanted to scream "stop stalling and let them get married!" Raj and Howard watching Star Wars in the sequence that they wanted was hilarious. Sheldon's story was well done and it was really sweet when he hugged Leonard.
  22. I want Malvo deader than dead for killing the poor dog. I liked how Molly understood why Gus let Malvo go as soon as she meet Greta. Molly and her father only have each other so she could relate to why Gus was afraid to leave Greta. So are Molly and Gus going to have a thing? Joey King (Greta) got so tall.
  23. You are describing Cercei and Tywin here, not Margaery. We have seen Margaery in two arranged marriages now. I have no doubt that she would not have chosen any of these men if given a choice. Yet she has shown herself to be clever and determined to make the best of her situation so she can survive. In the case of Renly, she was willing to do whatever it took to help him get her pregnant quickly to protect both of them. Joffery was a sadist monster so Margeary played to his vanity and encouraged him to be kind to his people so they would love him. Since she is likely to be married to Tommen, Margaery is trying to befriend and woo him so that his affection will strengthen their marriage and protect her from Cersei and their various enemies. I simply do not see Margaery's attempts to win over Tommen as anything negative. He is lucky to have her in life given his incestuous brutal ruthless family.
  24. The Jaime/Brienne scenes were well done by both actors, especially the farewell scene. Jaime and Brienne clearly wanted to say more, but were at a lost for the words. If Jaime was not still captivated by Cersei, he would be able to see that his feelings for Brienne are complicated and maybe not just friendship love. Helena Dax, I agree with you completely about Graves. Jaime was on the path to redemption when Graves damaged him unneccesarily with the rape. It makes sense that Olenna would plot to kill Joffery. How could she let Margaery marry that monster. No matter how clever or manupilative Margaery could try to be, her life would always be in danger in that marriage. I think that the changes from the books have been positive this season. The producers needed to tighten up the story which meandering way too much last season and after all, they cannot have tons of actors on contract. I think one of the best decisions was to insert Bronn into the Lannister brothers' drama.
  25. There is no practical difference between the terms, adolescent or teenager. Besides, it is difficult to tell how old tv Tommen is since all the characters' ages have been altered by the tv casting. The actor playing Tommen is 16, while the book character is around 7 years and book Margaery is 16 when the series starts. Also, I certainly did not see Margaery "grooming" Tommen as defined in our world. Yes, she is acting in her own self-interest and self-preservation, but Margaery is not trying to harm or exploit him. Rather she is trying to establish a positive relationship with Tommen because they are likely to be married soon. Anyone about to marry a stranger would likely do the same, the only reason that Margaery has to ask Tommen to keep it a secret is because Cersei is dangerous, controlling, and vicious.
