  1. He's been a huge dick to Barb in the past as well. And actually really nice to Adam?
  2. Sorry, it won’t let me erase the part of your post I’m not addressing, but I’m only responding to the last paragraph with this— I want to know more about this too!! Anyone who heard it, please share the deets! It’s also even more sickening if Drew knows this and doesn’t ever seem to mention it in Jenelle’s presence. I know that David would interrupt it or Jenelle would storm off, but Drew really is such a waste of space.
  3. I think he's into screen time but I think he's just as into toxic/moving-too-fast relationships with people who are inappropriate for him. Briana fits both bills. Yes, Javi really is a sneaky and manipulative person. He's really pretty awful...I had a much better opinion of him in the past than I do now. I think because anyone looks amazing next to Kail. But he's really showing his true colors lately and they're not awesome.
  4. Looking back at it, I agree. "next one will be a oreo #nasty" while retweeting stuff about Leah is too much of a coincidence for me to believe it's not racial, but hey, who knows. Whoops, just saw the thing about us all not talking about Jeremy/Corey anymore! Luckily, I have PLENTY to say about Jenelle. Starting with: Reading the reunion complaints she has, the worst thing that ever happened to this girl was getting money and a slice of fame. I honestly can't think of a less deserving person. Think of all the people who could use that money--and instead she's begging for VIP treatment for her should-be-a-felon, violent-ass loser boyfriend, and throwing a huge tantrum when she doesn't get it. If it's in any way possible, she's actually regressed. I thought she couldn't possibly get any lower. She's 100% the type of person to turn a blind eye to her kids getting molested. *not accusing anyone of that* but she absolutely would defend that fucker to the death.
  5. She’s pretty, but you’d have to listen to that voice!
  6. I think you might be right—Looking back at some articles at the time, I think he said “next one will be a Oreo” or something and then the butterfinger thing, which complicates it, and then immediately tweeted something about Leah, so I see why people were confused. The problem is we’re dealing with Jeremy here, so nothing is exactly coherent or reads as literate, lol. Anyway I wouldn’t be totally shocked if several TMers besides Chelsea were racist. Most of them are ignorant and racism goes along with that. We all know Jenelle adopts whatever ideology her boyfriend has... I truly believe she’d become a Nazi skinhead or an advocate of genocide if her latest boyfriend told her to. And Nathan and David are both obviously white supremacists, so she’s on her way.
  7. +1,000,000 to the first part. I think it's clear that Kailyn is certainly racist, and Jenelle wouldn't surprise me at all either. I believe Kieffer said she used racial slurs against him in at least one argument. As to the second part...I definitely wouldn't be *surprised* if Corey and Jeremy were racist. Yes, I like Corey to an extent, but believing he's at least casually racist (maybe not actively treating people badly, but holding certain racist views?) is not that much of a stretch for me, and believing Jeremy is NOT racist would be harder for me than believing he was. I also wouldn't be averse to learning they weren't, but def wouldn't be shocked if several of the TM folks were at least somewhat racist in their private lives. Most of them besides David (and to an extent Nathan) simply know it's not socially acceptable, so we won't ever know either way. I mean, honestly, a LOT of people are racist, and we're not dealing with the cream of the crop here in TMLand. I would imagine many of them are racist in some way or another. These are people who want to prove their superiority over others in some way. Any way. There's a spectrum...they're not all Davids, but I doubt most of them are exactly thinking critically about their own potentially racist views. Didn't he make the Oreo comment? No, it's not violent or anything, but I think that's at least slightly indicative of some degree of derogatory views. Idk, there's a wide range from KKK/David to critical race theorist. I would doubt that Jeremy at least is on either extreme end of that spectrum. Jenelle is hard to parse because she just takes on whatever views her boyfriends have. If her boyfriend was a hardcore social justice advocate she'd be into that too.
  8. Javi is honestly showing himself to be just as immature as the other hos on this show. Dude throws himself into relationships like a horny, lovestruck 16 year old. Grow up! He reminds me of the people who are like "oh I know he/she is still married, but let's move in together anyway"/"I know I'm going through a messy divorce and he/she is a barely-recovering drug addict, but maybe we're soulllmatess." Can't people just chill and go on some casual dates and get to know each other?! Would it be an absolute crime to go to dinner with someone one night and to the movies the next week with someone else and not declare your intent to impregnate/marry them?
  9. Yeah, I do feel bad for weight stuff because I know a lot of people have struggled with their weight (and I have too in the past) but man, it's rough to watch. Especially when they have all the resources to work on it. I understand totally why working parents, or, hell, single adults, with multiple jobs and lots of bills to pay get really big. It's still not healthy but it's understandable...stress, lack of sleep, sitting in an office all day, exhausted when you get home, using food as comfort, commuting in a car, etc. But damn, Catelynn really just doesn't want to help herself with anything. She has nothing to do all day except get fit if she wanted to.
  10. I used to work for a mainstream Christian company that produced curriculum for Christian families/churches. I'm not a Christian or religious at all, but I'm open-minded enough to work for a company that doesn't 100% fit my beliefs. I kept my mouth shut about my personal differences. Still, I was dating a girl at the time, and it would have been illegal for the company to fire me for that, as it's not related to the job itself. That's the difference. I think David's issue wasn't just his political stance or personal life, but his outright threats of violence and use of universally recognized slurs. They also likely were tired of dealing with him at MTV events, frankly, and it was the last straw. It's not like he simply announced who he voted for or his religious views or who he was dating and then was fired...this is a lot different. He targeted specific groups of people that are recognized minorities. You can state your beliefs but you can't actually target specific groups of other people. There are boundaries and he crossed them.
  11. Definitely agree! I'm so tired of them just filming one of them sitting on the couch or at a restaurant answering questions prompted by the producer, or sitting in an MTV green room chatting with one another about the 3 topics selected by the network. That does not an actual show make. I'm not bored because Chelsea is too perfect, I'm bored because the show is boring. Just show them doing something. ANYTHING. It didn't seem to be like this in the past as much? I wonder why. We saw Jenelle arguing with her mom, people playing with their kids, struggling with late night diaper changes etc.
  12. I thought Gary, Jo and Vee worked as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kristina did, at least in assisting with the real estate. And Vee actually even showed the receipts for her real estate license, unlike a certain someone’s diploma...But yes, most of the cast members don’t. Unless you count losing bodybuilding competitions while verbally abusing your mom as a job, and then Nathan does as well.
  13. Omg yes!!!! These people have zero insight.
  14. Omg he so would! I like Randy, but he's definitely a bit of an attention-seeker. Sometimes it's cute/funny and sometimes not so much. lol. Chelsea is looking really thin. Good for her--I'm learning it's really hard to lose the baby weight!!!
  15. I really wish we could somehow call a collective moratorium on both sides on the Chelsea is lazy/no she's not/if you don't like her you're jealous/she's just lying about being happy with Cole debate. It's ok to like her and it's ok not to and it's ok to snark on her and it's ok to compliment her and it's not that personal. lol. Just me?
  16. Nooooo not another week of the "Leah is unnecessarily involved in the Kail/Bri triangle" thing. NOOOOO!
  17. I don't really care about Chelsea and Cole fighting or not fighting. The show overall is just really boring now, even with the fake drama they try to inject into it. They either really need to start showing the nitty-gritty, like the stuff we all have to find out from social media (Jenelle and David's actual knock down drag outs, for example, or the millions of court dates), or at least show more of their actual everyday lives (I think once we saw Aubree cookie baking and we've seen Lincoln at soccer--things like that, just normal), instead of the ONE thing they've decided that each teen mom will be presented as "thinking about" this season.
  18. I'm the first person to say "go you!" about professional accomplishments but 1) I doubt she even actually got the degree 2) no offense/I'm sorry but it's a bachelor's degree, yes it's a great thing and yes it's cool if you actually got it, but my lord, it's not a Ph.D. in molecular biology or an Oxford degree in literature, you need to calm down a little. I REALLY don't mean to sound bitchy with that but if she did get it--it's a degree from DSU (no offense at all to state universities, I taught at one) that she nearly failed and that took her 80 years to nearly fail. Like, she got Cs and Ds and almost flunked out. WE ALL SAW IT. Also 3) those books were by ghostwriters, bye. She's really trying hard to position herself like this woman, a mom of 5 who graduated magna cum laude from law school and actually *does* seem like a "boss bitch," as the TMers like to say: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2018/04/11/single-mom-five-who-graduating-law-school-epic-photos-didnt-do-myself/508296002/ Dude, YOU ARE NOT THIS WOMAN. Also, this mom's ex died. She didn't purposely have children with 3 different people just, like...for the heck of it? But even if she had, she actually accomplished something...you kind of...didn't.
  19. Yep, this completely! In real life, like if we were coworkers or something, I'd definitely find her annoying. Just not my type of person/friend. She's fine and everything, just not my cup of tea. I actually really like Cole, though. But I still hold my breath waiting for her scenes because the show is now like: Abuser #1 (Jenelle) Abuser #2 (Kailyn) Slightly Less Intense Abuser #3 (Leah) Normal Person (Chelsea) I wonder if MTV did that on purpose? Do they always try to pick a "normal" teen mom who stands a chance of a decent life alongside three total train wrecks? I think Maci was supposed to be that in the other cast. Are they supposed to provide the sigh of relief after the relentless abuse and neglect? What a weird premise for a show. Personally, I do wish we saw Chelsea doing more, and all the teen moms and dads, not because of anything about gender roles or being a jellus hater towards Chelsea or whatever the heck, I just think the show is so boring at this point. It's just watching a horror show of absolutely terrible parents and then a few minutes of producers asking Chelsea about Adam. I WANT to see Gary working on houses, I WANT to see anybody have a job or a hobby or an interest or a discussion about anything interesting that isn't an ex, an upcoming charge or a toxic dating relationship. ANYTHING!!!! I want to see what kinds of things Vee does on the weekends, I want to see Cole doing a project, I want to see anybody have a conversation about politics or playdates or daycare or a book or anyythinggg that isn't jail or how trashy they are. Even if it's just for 30 seconds to remind me they are human beings. For such a popular network, MTV is really uncreative with the storylines. "K let's talk about Barb or somebody's baby mama/daddy and how much they suck for the 27th season." I would literally rather just watch Lincoln make faces into the camera for forty minutes straight than most of the stuff that's on now.
  20. WHY DO THESE PEOPLE TREAT CHILD ABUSE AND SPOUSAL ABUSE AS GOSSIP?! So let's say what Briana is saying is true. Let's hypothetically completely take her at her word for a second. So if you really believe that, Briana...you're mocking someone experiencing domestic violence and laughing about the fact that it's in front of innocent children? Children that, since you and Javi were ridiculously discussing marriage, you would have been STEPMOM to? It's like Nathan with David's abuse. Abuse isn't some kind of weird leverage or fun way to get make at someone/drag them/win an argument, it's, uh, violence? With kids involved?! What is funny or gossipy about that?
  21. Yeah, wtf was that. Who in hell would believe that? "I'm going to punch you in the face?" That has never been a playful phrase ever in history.
  22. Yes, for sure! Some people would simply just never disagree in front of other people.
  23. Edited: erased! didn't say what I meant clearly enough.
  24. Yes, he could at least TRY. It's just the latest excuse. He needs to spend his time preening and whoring around (as we saw on his special) instead of helping his kid not get abused. Priorities, dude! And though Chelsea personally annoys me at times more than I think she does other people (and I see nothing wrong with that, some people just irritate certain people and not others and it doesn't have to mean anything), I don't think the social media stuff with Cole is fake. I've definitely been known to get lovey dovey on social media, and it's all very sincere. I had several bad relationships before my husband and I'm just REALLY grateful for how truly, deeply amazing and romantic my marriage is. Maybe she's just always really grateful because of the history with Adam? I know that my past plays a huge role in how I feel about my marriage now, because it's a major contrast. I'm sure that things will calm down a bit with time, they still haven't been married all that long. And Cole does seem *really* actually very kind and nice, unlike the Tyler/Catelynn stuff where we all know Tyler isn't actually into Catelynn and they're both just fronting. Yes, I do wish we saw more of their actual lives! Although that's true for several of the girls. I feel like MTV picks such a limited storyline and forces everyone into it! From the show right now you'd think that all Leah does is sit around thinking about Kail, etc. I find it incredibly grating.
