  1. He's been up front with her about all sorts of things, including his mom. She just didn't believe him back then. And now that she knows for sure about his face, he told her outright to ask him anything. She didn't do it. That's not his fault. Also, she's lied to him outright twice now. Once about the priest situation, and once again here with the "you can have the necklace." He might avoid offering certain info, but she's the one choosing to lie to him. I'd say he's got reason to be angry with her. I guess I'm party of one on not being sold on Eve just yet. LOL. I'll wait and see what happens with the rest of the episodes, but... after all the Cain triangle bullshit from last season and already seeing a previous triangle with Amenadiel, Maze and Linda, I think I'm romantic triangled out right now. I can't stand the idea of it happening again. And Eve's voice is so baby-ish, it makes me feel like Lucifer would be robbing the cradle. She may be almost as old as he is at this point, given how long she's been in heaven, but she acts really young, and I don't mean young as in reckless (which of course Lucifer can be too - in that way, they probably are similar creatures). I mean, she seems young, like a kid. That doesn't work for me as someone to be with Lucifer. But I'll keep watching and see where they go with this. I just don't love it because I'm sick of romantic angles. I think they could have gone another way with Eve. Did she have to be still in love with Lucifer? *sigh
  2. I thought the priest said that the stuff in the vial was some sort of hardcore sedative (or as Chloe called it, a "roofie"). It was intended to knock out Lucifer, and then the priest would do the next part of the plan, whatever that was meant to be. Exorcism, I think he told Chloe, to send Lucifer back to Hell. Though I wonder if he had more in mind, especially because he said what he would do would send Lucifer back there permanently. I agree, and I'm glad for the moment between them. I'm glad there's someone in the main cast of characters who isn't taking it so smoothly. (I mean, obviously it took Linda some time, but she did recover and I don't think she holds Lucifer's devil face against him like Chloe is. She's not afraid of him anymore, not like Chloe is.) I thought maybe they'd show Chloe slowly descending into insanity, but instead they're going with another believable reaction - terror. And I like that she's at war with those emotions, because after all their history together she does feel like he is a good person... she just wishes he didn't have that side that scares her so much. Which is pretty fascinating. I feel bad for Lucifer, though. Dan's the one that scares me a little. He's out of control, and I get the sense that if he were to find out about Lucifer right now, Dan would have no qualms about sending him right back to Hell. Whatever it took. He's heading down a very dark path.
  3. I re-watched the series (well, I admit to skipping some annoying Cain-Chloe stuff in season 3, but otherwise, yes, I re-watched the series, LOL) over the past few weeks, and tonight I re-watched this episode before viewing the season 4 premiere. I just wanted to pop in to say that Lucifer unfurling his wings and flying down the stairs to confront and battle Cain/Pierce (after he brings Chloe to safety) still looks REALLY COOL. Love it!
  4. Got a chance to watch this premiere episode tonight. WOW. Agree with all the comments above, and I too am glad that they seem to have tightened up the show. Looking forward to seeing more!! I thought maybe Chloe would say she's okay, but slowly descend into insanity. Instead, she's being duplicitous... oh boy. Lucifer is NOT going to take that well. She's supposed to be the one he trusts most. This could be interesting (and really painful) to watch -- I'm already sympathizing with the devil. 😉 P.S. I loved "Creep," especially as Lucifer kept singing it and we saw him changing, getting more and more disheveled and clearly upset. Nice touch. P.S. again. The scene between Dan and Amenadiel made me tear up. That was really well played. Okay, more more... yay for Trixie forgiving Maze. (And I wonder how long it will take Maze to convince Lucifer that Chloe is NOT okay with the two of them, because you know Maze realizes it, given that Chloe lied to her about Trixie still being mad.)
  5. I appreciate it, thanks, @MisterGlass. Of all the spoilers you probably could have given away, that one's relatively minor. Just don't tell me anything else! *GRIN* I'll finally get to see it on Tuesday.
  6. Spoiler alert, MisterGlass. I haven't seen Endgame yet, and I would have liked to have been surprised and delighted by that cameo.
  7. Random side note: I loved the little wink Bishop gave Nolan when he found out that he didn't have anything to check off his list. That was pretty adorable, as was his return grin. I really do love their partnership.
  8. I just hope it doesn't end on a cliffhanger and then get cancelled. I hate when that happens.
  9. I'm not sure that's true. Didn't she talk about how she used to be the Chief's boss once upon a time? And she joked he should come work for her again, and he was all, hell no. (Or am I thinking of a different character? We're talking about the woman who wrote her number in Nolan's copy of her book, right?) If he really found her to be a challenging boss, I could see them putting her in that position again, where they're longtime friends but now she's his boss again. And have her be a complicated new love interest for Nolan. I hope she won't be Nolan's boss, because that just puts him in yet another inappropriate romantic situation that he has to lie about. I don't find that particularly compelling to watch.
  10. Heeeheeee... delightful. I didn't realize, but I've missed them!
  11. Finally caught up with this episode and the full season. Good grief. That was a lot of dark. But no matter what, Fitz has always been my favorite character, so when Mack held his hand and called him Turbo, I sobbed like a big baby. And I cried until they were all toasting and talking about goodbyes, and all of a sudden I realized they were talking about frozen Fitz and I was like -- stops short in the midst of crying, as my brain caught on to what they were saying -- "Whaaaat--?" I can't believe I forgot about frozen Fitz. Thank goodness. Of course this means they'll find new ways to torture him. Which will kill me all over again. Still, I'm glad he's not necessarily gone for good, or I may have stopped watching the show. Side note: Daisy has never been my favorite character. In fact, in season 1, I couldn't stand her. But I cried watching her tell Coulson how much she loved him. That moment was really a long time coming, and beautifully done. And yay for May and Coulson going "parasailing." 😉 (P.S. I'm glad I wasn't losing my mind because as the episode ended, I suddenly realized, "Hey! Did I miss them showing Deke disappear?" I thought maybe I'd been crying for Fitz too much to catch the moment of his dissolve, so I'm glad to read here that no one else saw it either and I'm not crazy.)
  12. What about how Tess murdered a man, as part of the renewal "life spent, life earned" bullshit? That may not have been the first person she's killed. And as Mack pointed out, she didn't have to kill that man, but she insisted that that was just the way things worked. She said it was to save other lives; Deke felt his action was doing the same, especially since Daisy was all driven to do whatever she wanted in order to find her friends, damn the consequences on the people who actually live there and have to suffer because of it. Do Tess's actions get excused because of the difficult circumstances of the life she was forced to live? Why is it different for her versus any of the others who had to keep their heads down and do similar hideous things just to stay alive? Deke made a terrible choice, without a doubt, but he's not the only one whose hands aren't clean, and that includes the others you listed. Flint is probably the most innocent of them all, only because he hasn't been around the block as long, and seemed to have nowhere to go so most of his time was spent hiding under the radar.
  13. Anyone know how many episodes are left in the season? Do they have a full amount (i.e. 22 to 24)?
  14. I liked the Captain a lot, but to me Bishop's the best woman on the show. If they ever even think of killing her off, the show is dead to me. No matter how much I like Nathan Fillion.
  15. As a fan of Joss Whedon shows, I'm used to being tortured in that way. LOL. But it was still a bummer because I liked her character. At least she went out like a badass. I thought for a moment she was going to take out the whole crew and the cops would show up just in time to see her uncuffing Nolan from the chair and she'd be all, 'What took you so long?' Sadly, not how it went down.
  16. Seconded! And then I would have liked to have punched her in the face. What the hell are you doing, making up stories about other people on the plane and posting them online as fact? Like many said above... yeah, I'd never be a good diplomat either. LOL. Nevertheless, I really wanted that social media girl to get taken to task and made to see what a terrible mess she made, all in her attempts to be cute. I found this episode infuriating for so many reasons, all starting with her. So much for the calm I gained from watching the episode involving Russell and the panda cam. I think I need Russell's 15 minutes "off the grid," because I'm still mad about this episode. I'm glad they don't end every episode as sunshine and roses, because we know that's not reality, but sometimes reality really sucks.
  17. I've been having a really shitty day, so watching that Russell panda stuff made me feel a little better. (Sorry, Russell.)
  18. When I caught on that that's what Blake was doing, I thought it was hilarious. I suppose it would be undignified if the Russian foreign minister realized that Elizabeth was actually crammed in a closet with her team members, to have the call (LOL), so they have to have a fake seal to make it seem like she's in an official conference room. Nevertheless, I kept watching Blake during that scene, and was rewarded because after Elizabeth ended the call and Blake was free to stop holding up the paper, he shook his arm out and made a face like "Owwwww" which was so funny, and a nice touch, because that's exactly what I was thinking - how long has he been holding that paper up for the call? Gotta love the little details... ❤️
  19. I'm really behind on this show so it's pretty pointless for me to comment belatedly, LOL. But I wanted to chime in my relief that other people thought the music in this episode was really out of whack. It was SO disjointed! Part noir, part random piano piece that sounded like a person trying to tune the piano because they kept loudly hitting the same note in succession (so it didn't sound gentle or romantic or whatever the hell they were trying to accomplish with that recurring theme). It was so strange.
  20. Miranda Richardson is still alive. I think you're thinking of Liam Neeson's late wife Natasha Richardson. 🙂 But agreed - Shaun's injuries could end up being more severe than expected at first glance. OR... the conversation he's having with Claire while sitting in the back of the ambulance is part of a dream state conversation (if the show wants to go the route of trippy lessons-learned-while-unconscious trope). Either way, I'm curious to see next week's episode. I want to know what happens! I hope it's not a cliffhanger. I hate waiting months to find out what happens. LOL.
  21. Seconding what bros402 said. Glassman wasn't just waiting for his food; he was waiting anxiously for test results. That kind of wait is pretty agonizing. From the point of "hmm... we think this might be cause for concern; we'd like to check it out," to getting biopsied, and then waiting for results, I had about 5 weeks of torturous worrying, and I didn't even end up having cancer (thank goodness). I can only imagine how stressful it would be for a person waiting to hear if their cancer was gone or not, after all that treatment and the hell that goes with it. I haven't always loved Glassman's attitude of pushing people away, but I did love the bakery lady telling him the truth about his behavior. And when Richard Schiff cries, I cry. He really got to me, when he tried not to break down in front of his doctor, after he got his good news. Freddie was fantastic as well. I couldn't help but cry for him when he lost it in Han's office and again in the locker room, and when Claire sat next to him. Just gut-wrenching.
  22. I recently did a rewatch of the TV series Leverage, and Luke was a guest star in one memorable episode. He played a con man pretending to be a psychic who could speak to the dead, and the Leverage team fought to take him down after he took a young pregnant woman's life savings (preying on her emotions, telling her that he could speak to her dead husband). He was particularly loathsome, but he managed to make the role really fascinating to watch. It's definitely one of my favorite episodes of the series. I remember watching 90210 as a late teen and I'm less than 10 years younger than Luke, so his death feels particularly surreal and too close to home. Definitely gone too soon...
  23. Will Previously.TV pay tribute to Luke in some way? It seems fitting, especially given how prominent Beverly Hills 90210 has been featured on this site. I think it would be really lovely.
  24. I'm kind of disappointed that they cut away before Bull told Diana about his heart attack. After all the build-up throughout the episode, especially with Bull understandably freaking out about his heart rate, then he tells her that he'll talk with her about it later? I can't stand her character, but at least seeing her reaction to that might have given her a little bit more depth. (Eh, who am I kidding... I probably still wouldn't like her.)
