Sex And The City - General Discussion
RealHousewife replied to WendyCR72's topic in Sex And The City
Good for Kim! I think all the women on the show are talented actresses. I know they were acting, but as a huge SATC fan, it does kind of sadden me that Kim didn’t feel like part of the group. I wonder if she had any problems with Cynthia or Kristin, or if it was just Sarah. -

I’m skeptical about that too. Who would want to ever give them a story again if the source were to be revealed? It would be crazy if Teddi is behind this though. Imagine poor LVP getting all the crap from the rest of the group, and the true source is sitting there acting innocent... LVP has sworn it wasn’t her. Rinna said it wasn’t her on WWHL. I believe her. I don’t see Kyle doing this to Dorit, nor Erika. They don’t hate Dorit like that. Denise doesn’t even know the ladies that well. That leaves Teddi, who hasn’t denied leaking the story. I don’t want to believe it’s Teddi and am skeptical about the claim it is, but if it is in fact another housewife, it would make the most sense if it were her imo. She was worked up by how Dorit treated Lucy, didn’t get along well with Dorit last season, and agreed to expose the story at VP Dogs.

So Camille is on the outs with everyone? It’s so weird. Kyle was just a bridesmaid.

There’s an episode where she asks Carrie if her hair looks too shiny. 🙂 -
You are right in that Teddi had a choice, but I guess I still get where she's coming from as far as saying she was provoked-whether or not she read the texts correctly, Blizzard put words in LVP's mouth, etc is another story. I am more put off when someone is nasty without any provocation. For example, why on earth did Camille sit there and cackle about Lisa's dental situation with the group? That was pure mean imo. Teddi got worked up over the treatment of a puppy by someone who wasn't kind to her. She was wrong to get involved with exposing the story, but she didn't become a mean girl out of nowhere. Again, I'm not disagreeing that it absolves her of accountability, but for me manipulation does matter.

S09.E13: Grilling Me Softly
RealHousewife replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Kyle and Kim were blessed with amazing hair genes. Even if Kyle's hair isn't as long as it was before, it is still beautiful, shiny hair. I'm glad that she's sporting shorter, healthy hair rather than longer, unhealthy hair. She's beautiful either way imo. There are instances I remember of Lisa wanting sensitive stuff addressed on the show, and I wasn't sure what to think regarding the Vanderpump Dogs shooting with Teddi & Kyle. I like most of the women and see where they're coming from. I also wish Lisa would be more direct when she's upset rather than make the digs. Honestly, those digs can be more embarrassing than her just saying, "yes I'm upset with you!" I'm by no means a Lisa fan who thinks she does no wrong and every single problem is due to the jealousy of the other women. As much as I agree with your post though, I started to really feel for Lisa when they all insisted she got the story out. There's no proof she did anything at all. She was going through what may be the most difficult time ever in her life, and one of her best friends came to her house and insisted she was lying on the eve of her birthday. I get that Lisa can be insensitive at times, but I don't think she has it in her to make a friend cry. She's never bullied anybody. All the women could have been more kind and gentle with her this season imo, with the exception of Denise, who's tried to be nice to everyone and not take sides. Lisa can be a shit stirrer, but she is so charming and does so much good-rescuing dogs, feeding the homeless, activism for the LGBT community, that a lot of us like her anyway. I also think she genuinely loved Kyle. She bought a new Chanel bag for her when she got robbed. I think what she needed from Kyle this last year was some sisterly type of support and love. Imo because Lisa has been blessed with so much, it's hard for some people to see her as a human who's fragile and hurting. I think if she weren't so successful, so rich, so intelligent, so beautiful, so adored by family and fans, that her work friends may be more likely to feel for her. I'm not saying ALL the problems this season are due to jealousy, but I do think when someone is jealous of you, it's hard for them to care about your pain and tears. Unlike some other housewives, Lisa isn't one to cry every other episode. If it were my friend who's typically a very strong woman, been accused of not opening up and having the stiff upper lip, and suddenly she's vulnerable, tearing up, and saying how rough it's been, I'd know she's really needing some support. It was the worst time for all of them to go against her. -

I know. Her waist is itty bitty. You don’t think her hair was too shiny? 😀 -
I wonder if Andy will ask Kyle about this at the reunion...
-
And I suppose he also thinks his wife got all her gigs based on sheer talent and hard work? Meghan’s husband sounds just as bright and delightful as her!

Ugh I liked Mauricio, this is terrible.

I can’t imagine it would but don’t know for a fact. If Mauricio is guilty of what he’s being accused of, it’s an incredibly crappy, unethical thing to do, regardless of what kind of person the seller is.

Camille Grammer: Deliciously Pernicious
RealHousewife replied to BBHN's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Camille was only friend of, but I don’t think Andy will want her as a full-time housewife if she passes on the reunion. Camille has to understand if she talks smack about/gets into it with the entire cast, there are consequences. She’s not an innocent victim of a gang-up. -
Thank you for posting this. It does not make Mauricio look good. Is there anything that proves he was not being shady?

MTE, but I suppose if the people of Salem had sense, there would be no drama. -

Kristin's like a beautiful, perfect doll, which made her just right for Charlotte, because there was an innocence to the character. And I remember that episode! SJP has a gorgeous little figure too, that is indeed a perfect clothes hanger, but I think most girls would die for Kristin's face and body. You're probably right about her feeling self conscious of her booty, because now that you mention it, there were a couple episodes Kristin briefly showed her breasts, but she never, ever showed the lower half of her body. The younger generation is a lot more proud of having hips and a butt, but that trend didn't start until Kristin was in her 30's, and I don't think butt implants became a thing until she was in her 40's. -

I've always admired her figure. She is slender and curvy, but not in a way that's plastic or unattainable for most of the population. Most women will need plastic surgery to look like Kim Kardashian or Pamela Anderson or those Instagram models. Kristin's body is beautiful but can be obtained by a lot of women with a sensible diet and exercise. She's not a stick with big boobs, and I think her butt is just right! lol It's big enough to add some feminine curvature to her little body, but it's not so big it takes over her figure or looks plastic. I guess even the prettiest women have insecurities. -
Unpopular Opinions
RealHousewife replied to RealHousewife's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I like LVP, but I am not about backing up my grown women friends each time they do something stupid, absolutely not. There's no reason to get in the middle most of the time. If I have a friend who is in the right and maybe has a hard time speaking up, or even a friend who's wrong but is getting more crap than she deserves, I'll be supportive and make sure my friend's heard and not hurt by anyone. But that is different than pretending my friends are always right and making a point to go against someone they've wronged. I remember when Brandi was new and Lisa was getting in the middle, trying to get Brandi to apologize based on what she'd heard from Kyle about Game Night. Lisa was not Brandi's boss, mother, no one who had the right to tell her what to do based on what a friend said. Then she became close to Brandi, and let a lot of Brandi's deplorable behavior slide until she was the recipient of it herself. She was laughing along with Brandi when she was a huge bitch to Joyce. I do think part of how Lisa felt about the Adrienne situation is that she didn't care for Adrienne herself. Adrienne was not exactly kind to Lisa during the season 2 reunion. You are totally right that it wasn't fair Adrienne was painted as the villain when she was the victim season 3. I know Faye Resnick isn't a big fan favorite, but she was one of the few who read the situation correctly imo. Lisa also said she believed Yolanda over Kyle and Kim at a reunion, and I believe the following season showed the Richards sisters were telling the truth about Yolanda's opinion of Lisa. -

^ Thank you! I never tire of pictures of her. I think her style is so underrated. It's more modern/wearable than some of those classic style icons, but it is still so classy. -

Besides her beauty, I think Charlotte was the best dressed too. So many pretty, classy dresses. :)
