It is the biggest problem with cooking competition shows -- we can't ever know why one person wins! I mean, you can usually tell why someone is losing, but maybe Alex's stuff is always magically delicious in ways we can't comprehend!

I agree that this episode was great, but it's GOT to have been a last-minute replacement for the Miscavige one, right? In a bunch of recent seasons, they've walked into the house and immediately formed a 5-25 member alliance with some corny name, as opposed to coupling up like this folks did. I wonder if Production told them to lay off the alliance names? Also, I really miss the Have Not competition and the luxury food ones. They swapped them out for these additional "twist" competitions, to which I say: feh.

Given the show's schtick is fixing "botched" plastic surgery, there's no slot for breast reductions, is there? Except for taking out too-big implants. I also figure nose jobs and boob jobs are the most common surgeries, which is both why those are their two specialties and why there are so many jokers doing them poorly.

It's at least as hypocritical for Terry to sit there thanking her for her anti-implant message to the world!

I was on back in the days of five-day limits, and ended up on the champ's fifth day, which was especially a bummer because he looked even younger than me, and I hoped my age would make people feel bad for me! (I was 22.) I don't recall getting to take a picture with Alex, but I do recall his being shitty toward the crew! I quit watching for years after I was on.

Don't they always wear the same outfits for both days of the weekend? I think it's so they can record talking heads whenever and have it look OK.
