So Billy walks on Gabe's death. I guess only Sage would care, but she's too worried about loosing Dickoless. They can prosecute crimes in Hawaii, the Carribean and Peru, but not GC.

I forgot to add, Billy walked away from the car, leaving the scene of a fatal accident. So he knew someone was dead and walked away from it. Justice for Gabe!!!! Fry Billy.

Don't forget that Billy is responsible for Gabe's death, since he kidnapped Adam by gunpoint, shot Adam and Gabe died trying to save Adam. So even if he gets off on charges against Adam, he STILL is responsible for Gabe's death.

No, only once, but with twice the chance he won't forget it's on. He still thinks somehow someday the writers will go back to the glory days. He's an optimist.

I wish I could join you in that break. My dh keeps turning it on, we get 2 chances to watch it in my area.(12:30 & 4:00, on 2 different CBS stations)

Sorry, but it can be even worse, Patty blamed for the non existent baby's death/disappearance. Remember one of Patty's problems was wanting a baby...Furthermore what doctor drugs a supposedly pregnant woman like that? Or even doesn't realize that Sharon's not pregnant? Something real fishy about that doctor, but she's a woman, thus crazy. <tic>

Unfortunately, they can still pass it off on her. That crazy doctor can drug her to the gills, convince her that she did it, and have everyone hating her. Then Patty to the rescue, telling on the doc with no one believing her... After all, all women are crazy...<tic> I hate what they've done to the show...

First, I wish I could join you in that Grey Goose but my meds won't permit that.Ok if Billy goes ballistic about Adam, I sure hope that Billy will be arrested for attempted murder, kidnapping and murder of the real Gabe. But the law is so stupid on this turd of a show now. So Noah goes off on Marisa instead of revealing everything. You know he goes to the senior Turd who will bs him into thinking it was all a figment of Marisa's imagination. So Victurd gets away with it again...

I was easily frightened as well, but I still loved Dark Shadows & poor Barnebas. He made the show for me with the live filming oops, such as going to bite a pretty neck only to feel his teeth and whip out his dentures fangs. Or slam a door only to have it bounce open 3 times, when a hand reached in to close the door the final time...I was in college when Luke & Laura were the great love story on GH, many skipping classes to watch it in the student lounge. The one I watched more often was Y&R since I didn't need to skip classes since it was on during lunch. I loved the original Victor, long before that story got old and EB corrupted the show. I pulled for Jill against the drunk Mrs. Chancellor and loved the storyline years later that made them mother/daughter. I hate how they are treating the Chancellor legacy now. I have little hope that Y&R will survive EB & the piss poor story lines/writing. I feel sad about that, like watching a dear friend destroying themselves in addiction. Even with the cheap sets, they can make so much with GOOD writing. Look at Dark Shadows, that even today is remembered fondly despite missing fangs & doors bouncing open.

Couple of thoughts: PLEASE don't have the blame for this crapfest on Adam. That "evil" Adam is old. How about putting the blame on Victor where it belongs!I saw that look on Summers' face and had a crazy thought: Harding kills Summer. To put us out of our misery. He is caught on those cameras that never work. He then is caught, rats on Marco, who is caught and rats on Victor. That way Victor is distraught over his cupcakes being killed, blames everyone but himself, blames everything bad he's every done on protecting his family, except maybe his son Adam who he's glad is dead, gets Dickolaus to blame everything on Sharon while saying he's never going to talk to Victurd again. Red then beats up Victurd for killing her cupcake and kills him. Kyle kills himself to join cupcake... All run on sentences on purpose. Hey, then tell us it was all a dream...

I just watched this week's show. My speculation is that Eddie does not win since his pilot was barbeque places throughout the country. Michael Symon is now doing a show very much like this. If Dom has a new/revised FB page, it may be he lost as well. That leaves the Cajun guy. I can't even remember his name, lol.

I hopeTIIC are reading, are seeing that most want Victor to pay for what he's set in motion. He is not the moral compass he pretends to be. I'll settle for Victor being held responsible for his schemes. I want him to do real jail time. I want him disgraced. Oh well, rant over.

I had a CRS moment with the authors' name, yes it is Charles Todd. I wish Crimson Field went into the time like the Todd books.I don't know about elsewhere in the world, but in the US, by the time the history teachers get to the 1900s, they pretty much just gloss over things before school is out. Too often the kids of today have no idea about that time in history. Other topics they could have covered include women's rights, including why a divorcee was so much a scandal. Not going into the Spanish influenza was another major flaw, but that may have started around 1916. Going into head wounds, shell shock, amputation and infection are other topics. Again, I'm sorry the show was cancelled.

Thanks, I'll look at Bradsdeals. I already am signed up with BookBub, I have at least 100 books from them. The rest were from the (alleged) days of price fixing where books were $15-20 a piece. To curb my book addiction I only buy them with iTunes gift cards, so I'm limited to that amount monthly now.

I'm sorry to hear the show has been cancelled. There were so many topics they could have done, such as the kids who lied about their age who enlisted. Another was the Spanish Influenza, that killed more soldiers (& citizens) than the war, on both sides, What would now be called PTSD was considered a moral failing, or cowardice. Also not mentioned was the use of mustard gas. My great uncle was gassed 3 times, received the French Croix de Guerre (sp?) and other medals. He was one of the teens who went in at age 14-15, came out a disabled old man at 18. He had severe residual damage due to the gassing, but self medicated for what was likely PTSD. That was an elephant in the room never to be mentioned. The family lost track of him in 1943. Charles Boyd (pen name for a mother-son) writes about this time frame. One series is about a WWI British nurse, the other is pre & post WWII Scotland Yard inspector. He has PTSD that he has to hide, and sees the ghost of his sergeant he had to execute. The ghost is his guilt. Books are much better than my descriptions. Although they never said it directly, I think the execution of Edith Caravelle (not sure if that was her name) by the Germans saved Joan's life. The British couldn't do what the Germans did to a nurse, therefore she'd be sent to prison "for the duration".

No, I have a 16gb (I think) IPad II. Memory is full can't delete the 500 or so books. (I'm a book hoarder, at least digital frees up the 8 book cases, lol.) I have Uverse for computer only, DirectTV for TV. My PC is ancient & full as well. I know I have to get a new one sooner or later, hopefully later.
