  1. Thanks. It's bad. And it actually happened on my birthday. It was so scary on my little one that after we got to my mom's I lost her and her dog for awhile. When I found them they were like this in one of the bathrooms. She was so scared getting out that it literally made her sick.

  3. To be fair, Mo didn't announce to the world that Danielle's parts reeked-she did that on her own. What he said was that she had an issue and needed to see a doctor. That issue could've been a variety of things. Danielle's the one who piped up and announced that he thought she smelled bad. I mean, he's still a wanker and she's still a nutcase so it's not like it really matters in the end. They both screwed each other over.
  4. Senora is also very talented. You should check her out, too. I don't know him as well as her (he's not from my county, she is, and they live here), but she's a very good singer (so are her parents) and a genuinely nice person. She gets lost in the shuffle a bit. I do NOT understand some of their reasoning this season. I liked the firefighter more than the nervous girl. And ET...she had to be scripted. Right?
  5. That would make sense if they got paid upfront, but they don't. They don't get paid until directly after the Tell All is filmed which, for some, can be up to a year later (sometimes they're not sure which season a couple is going to appear in). This probably IS good for her business. Look at the number of people who buy Danielle's autographed pictures, Cameos from Baby Girl Lisa and Tom, and Only Fans subscriptions from Coltee...People be freaking nuts.
  6. Well, we lost...a lot. Our whole bottom floor. Bedrooms, office, family room...Not just flood water but raw sewage in the house. It's overwhelming and I'm in no mood for toxic positivity. We're still alive but it sucks. My friend and neighbor wrote this last year. It's still applicable. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/02/eastern-kentucky-is-underwater-but-you-probably-didnt-notice/606973/
  7. I thought he was trolling us for awhile. Now I'm sure that he's a troll, just not of the internet variety.
  8. I love how her username also says "tv" despite the fact that she's a nobody... Also, what fresh hell is this? https://www.instagram.com/reel/CL97dTMnzrf/?igshid=18vho0rfovzlw
  9. My family's favorite part was the first audition. The song playing in the background during his intro is by a guy named Tyler Childers. He wrote the song for his wife, Senora. Weird to hear him on TV. He's literally my neighbor. I've been friends with Senora and her family for years. She sang at my son's memorial service and my mother-in-law's, too. (We couldn't make it to England for her funeral so my friends held a service for us here.) We're a tiny mountain town in a part of the country few care about. It's weird and fun to see one of our people on the national stage. Rest of the episode was meh for me.
  10. My county is now an island and we have no water. Nobody can get in or out other than by boat or helicopter. There are only 10,000 people in our county but all have been affected. We now have the National Guard and FEMA here. Houses completely submerged. With the river not cresting until 4am and it being days before we can get all the water cleared out we've lost most everything on our first floor. We took the kayak out earlier and rescued stray dogs and cats and delivered food to neighbors. We live on a mountain but we lived on the side and we're surrounded by 2 rivers. With the torrential rain the groundwater runoff seeped into our downstairs first, and then the rivers rose.
  11. My town and my first floor are underwater. We're going to lose most everything down there-office, kids' bedroom, family room, etc. And the river hasn't crested yet.
  12. And we ARE talking about the same woman who knew it was true love because he used a lot of emojis...
  13. They don't sacrifice their passports now, but they will when they have the rules removed from their green card. That comes 2 years later and it will only take a few weeks. Unless their home country is a part of the visa waiver program, and none of this season's cast is, they aren't allowed to travel until they receive their temporary green card. They entered the country on a K1. If they were to leave the US now then they'd have to start all over again with a new one or else they'd be denied entry. The K1, as an entry visa, can only be used for travel to once. Because he was British and the UK is part of the Visa Waiver Program he could come and go freely. In fact, we applied for the visa in October and by the end of Feb he still hadn't heard anything. I moved here, rented a house, and got all or furniture here and he followed a few weeks later as a tourist. Our kid was born and 4 days later he received his visa interview in London so he had to quickly fly back and go through the medical exam, visa interview, etc. We were lucky in that he was able to come and go at will even without the visa (he just couldn't stay for more than 90 days). None of these people can do that.
  14. Having been through this myself, Mother Brandon is crazy as a loon, but my mil was, too, and I TRIED to involve her and to get her to accompany me while I lived in her house and was baby planning. Alone, no family there, and my husband worked all day. Crazy or controlling or not, it would've been nice to have had someone who cared. I'm giving her a slight pass on this one. Amira-maybe she doesn't want to live in France? There are nice places there, but there are nice places everywhere. The problem is Andrew. She could do much, MUCH better than this incel. With the whole 4th wedding thing I'm just "eh". People should do what they want. There's no law or rule that says you can't have multiple weddings. It's her 4th but Zied's first. If you have the money and people want to come, then why not? The issue seems to be that they DON'T seem to have the money. That these couples are putting the fancy weddings ahead of having places to live, or furniture in their house, is insane. And, since we see a version if this in every season, I have to think it's a TLC thing. Father Amira is way too level headed for this nonsense.
  15. These are issues that we had, too, which is why we went to the courthouse first and then had a wedding 6 months later. That gave his family and friends abroad time to plan a trip and get their plane tickets, us to your wedding venues (some are booked up months in advance), etc. This whole "have to have my dream wedding RIGHT NOW has to be partly TLC related because I don't know K-1 people like this in real life. Ice been volunteering on VisaJourney for 13 years now and, by far, the majority of people want to legally marry right away and have the ceremony later.
  16. They're not going to have all the season's on there for a few months because of their cable and Hulu contracts. What they've done, though, is go through each season and pulled out all of the scenes with different characters and called them "journeys." I actually prefer this. So say you want to watch all of Darcey's scenes with Tom...instead of trying to remember which season in which incarnation of the show they were in, you just have to pull up "Darcey's Journey." They have ALL of her on camera scenes (Before the 90 Days, What Now, Happily Ever After, etc) in one mini series. But yeah, if you cut the chord right now you won't be able to watch the new episodes. I kept Philo for that. With Philo, Discovery+, Hulu, Netflix, and HBO Max I'm able to watch all my shows and spend less than $100 a month (my old cable bill was around $200). It's a good deal for me, but I can see how it wouldn't be if you have cable. That's a bit much. They're still having a 7 day trial if you want to check it out-or wait a few weeks until it's built up a bunch of Bares All and Single Life so that you can binge it all at once! That's what I did with CBS All Access and THE STAND.
  17. Thank you. I probably blocked that out. Sometimes the incessant arguing and complaining lulls me into a short nap.
  18. I've watched every episode and I STILL don't understand the drama with the trees...
  19. It CAN work. Our first son was an "accidental child" and he was conceived before we started the visa process. We've been together for 16 years now and my husband's been amazing. However, it's taken a shit-ton of work. Those early years were super heard and we had to work at our relationship every single day. Our 2 subsequent children were "planned" and there's a world of difference between their early childhoods and our eldest's. Conversely, I was also an accidental child and my mom took total responsibility for me. My dad was there in a theoretical sense but he never contributed to our household or to my raising. They broke up before I was born. If your relationship is solid then it's much easier than what we're seeing on this show. Julia/Brandon and Jovi/Yara don't even seem to LIKE each other. Throwing a kid in that mix is pretty much one of the worst things they can do. It's hard enough having kids when you're in a GOOD relationship. Few things will strain it more than that first year of their life. When you go into it already in tatters, though...yikes.
  20. Tim and Meyleeza...yikes! When he was shouting and banging his fists it actually made me jump. I still think that they were already broken up before they even went on the show. He has some real anger and hatred inside of him. Between Tom telling Shaun that "some people" needed to be kicked off Pillow Talk and that he and Jesse should be on there instead and Jesse continuing to refer to Shaun as "sweetheart"? No. Just no. The less attention spent on them the better.
  21. PS-Holy shit, guys, if you have Discovery+ then you should be watching the episode of BARES ALL that followed this. It's, uh, something else...I actually jumped when someone yelled.
  22. Ugh...so mach to say. So mach. You know what, Rebecca? If you don't want a man who cares about his culture and religion then quit looking for men in other countries...Hell, it's hard enough marrying a foreigner from a country that's similar to ours-like England. I'm Team Zied for this one. I gotta say, Betty is THE VISIT crazy but I actually thought it was sweet the way she seemed genuinely excited to help Julia. When I was pregnant and abroad I tried to get my crazy mother in law invested in the birth of her grandson. Tried to being her on doctor visits, help me buy maternity clothes and baby clothes. I was thousands of miles away from my own mom and I wanted to be close to his. She couldn't give AF. I think Betty wants to think of Julia as a daughter-it's just that she wants to think of her as her internationally adopted teenager and not her son's future wife. I ff through Hazel and Tarik. Brandon's a little shit. I continue to think that Andrew has sold a pack of lies to Amira about what life in the US is going to be like. She can do better, but she's also a few fries short of a Happy Meal to continue on with this. Stephanie is either overly medicated or needs to be.
  23. Yeah, I really enjoyed this. I'm enjoying this more than the regular show.
