  1. The way Olivia is allowed to treat her brother is appalling. Yes he’s a bit quirky but geez. That said, It’s completely on Quinn that his tech got ruined. Theyre called tides dude, and it’s pretty easy to tell where tides reach on a beach. I agree that Nicole might be one of those execs who give lip service to taking vacations (because she’s on her laptop a lot writing emails and such). But I think there’s another component to the zoom with China issue, and that’s based in my experience where there’s cultural differences between American offices and Chinese offices even within the same global company, and maybe that extends to how they view vacations or being out of the office. Ultimately, I think the issue is less about this actually being true that China can’t know, but more so that she thinks it’s true. I really liked Enlightened. This and that show have this same Mike White awkward uncomfortable vibe even though the actual plot is pretty mundane. I enjoy this perspective on wealthy people being awful but in a way lesss showy than, say, the Roy’s in Succession. I used to work at a company where this middle aged trust fund guy who didn’t work was friends with the owners. He came by the office all the time to hang out. Guests were welcome in the office to visit, say hi, sure, but he’d be there all afternoon and come in multiple days a week sometimes. I still to this day think it’s the weirdest thing. You don’t need to work but you’re choosing to spend time in an office. Oh, rich people. There are at least 50 other things I could think of doing if tables were turned.
  2. After 2 years, the Pod Squad gets ready and reunites for couples’ anniversaries sharing personal updates — and dissecting drama— along the way. Air date: July 28, 2021
  3. I liked it too. thought it looked great on her figure. And will look even better once fitted to her. Hope they do a follow up so we can see her dress and what she ultimately choose for hair accessories. Does anyone know for larger busted women what kind of undergarments they would use on that type of dress? This is that dress, which looks very different on the designer model. https://www.pronovias.com/wedding-dress-a-line-v-neckline-long-sleeved-meredith
  4. Yes. There’s a Gum Wall in the Pike Place Market area. It’s gross, but it’s a pretty well-known tourist spot. Tthose poor production assistants! Why are you there Brendan? To almost break the 4th wall! So close.
  5. I’ve hoped for years that a super fan would be on the show. Then it ends up being Hunter? Yuck. My guess is that he’s a Reddit guy FWIW. The master of domain Wowo challenge is so stupid. Kaitlins face is so different now from when she was dating / engaged to Shawn, she’s basically a different person, in pictures at least.
  6. I also think Joey-Josh is trolling us at this point with that hat. Maybe his Mom was a NKOTB fan and had pictures all over the house. I don't know but it's fully distracting. Other look-a-likes (so I get this out of my system). Jeremy looks like Luke Wilson with long hair. And Christian looks like Joel Kinnaman (on a bad day).
  7. This! I so deeply want VO guy to do a Hangin' Tough or New Kids joke of some kind. Even if he has to preface it with who Joey is to the audience. The second Josh came on screen I said out loud - Wanna bet he's from Boston (area), Massachusetts -- Aaaaaand Ding Ding Ding! She reminds me (and this is light shade, because I do think she's attractive) of Rose from RuPaul's Drag Race. Between the makeup, fillers, and something about how she stands I get a kind of drag vibe. The way a lot of lip fillers present is with this funny curved bit by the corner of the mouth. Spotting this has become my favorite hide and seek reality show game. This house is awesome. The waterfall next to it? So cool. I do worry someone is going to break their neck on the waterslide, it doesn't seem right.
  8. Last year during Tayshia's season, she had the Art Date, with the naked man and woman, and the guys had to make art based on it. Blake made a phallus, that's it. I remember the other guys Voice Overing that it was very much Blake: “It surprises nobody that he made a penis,” says Spencer. “He is constantly talking about sex.” So maybe they're Made For Each Other 🤣 .but it's a pretty thin connection. I'd like Blake to define what he thinks Sex Positivity is. I don't get the impression he fully comprehends that Sex positivity not exactly the same as really horny / DTF (as the kids say these days).
  9. Portland couple from last week: The dog was really cute. The house they chose was so tall. Curious if that’s a Thing that is happening in PDX with tear downs of smaller homes. Lot is small so go tall to give people the Sq Ft they want. I am perplexed by Portland woman saying something isn’t walkable but it’s a 2-3 minute drive. 🧐 Isn't that just a 15-20 minute walk? They didn’t appear to be on a hill or surrounded by non-pedestrian friendly parkways. I’m sure their dog would love a walk.
  10. I find Crystal’s food behavior triggering and I don’t have an eating disorder, other than being a woman who grew up in the fat phobic 80s and 90s. She is not over whatever it is she thinks is behind her. Her behavior is not the behavior of someone that’s recovered, and honestly it’s not something I judge her personally for but I’m pissed the show is showing it. Between her, and Rinna, Amelia and sometimes Kyle, it’s noticeable that the discussion isn’t actually healthy. I agree with Kyle's comparison to the public bathroom. It was an accident. It’s embarrassing, awkward, and yeah maybe violating. But one can feel violated even if someone didn’t intend to violate you, so I kind of agree with Crystal and Sutton needs to let it go.
  11. Omg that is hilarious. I knew I was getting teen wolf vibes but couldn’t put my finger on which era. Oh Thomas, they won’t pick you to be the bachelor if you say out loud you think about being the bachelor. First rule of Fight Club, don’t talk about fight club. Same logic.
  12. Has anyone else seen the Ted Talk about how to tell us someone is lying? Karl was doing all of the signs in quick succession.
  13. 99% sure this RhoBH Tahoe rental is the same one that was on Keeping up with the Kardashians this season end.
  14. She was/is a marketing manager for a regional bank in the Seattle area.
  15. I wanted cat man to paw at the rose and knock it off the table. Katie would be like, why is the rose on the floor? I agree the kissing uh, intensity, is just a lot for the first night.
  16. They should’ve given Katie a warmer dress. Or a heat lamp, I got the chills watching her. What is Kaitlin doing to her face? These guys are cuter than their Bach pics but the suits! Oof. Too many I’ll fitting suits. Spandex is not a test.
  17. John being the Dad makes a lot of sense. I have a speculation but trying to add logic to it. If we remember that Jess reported it was Frank, I could see a time (not shown) where Erin & Jess were somewhere near Frank & John (since they are best friends). Maybe Erin tells Jess something like "he's here", and Jess assumes it's not Erin's relative that's the father of the baby, so process of elimination it's Frank? OR this is part of a bigger set up by Jess/Dylan/Other dude and she's known it was John all along. I have this feeling it's going to be some Murder Durder on the Philly Express type of thing where they all had a part. Maybe: Erin was being pimped by Dylan (and maybe it relates to drugs) or he was using her profile to lure men and would then rip them off? John found out by seeing her profile on the site (because maybe he was looking for girls for himself), and Erin gets summoned out to this to the park because there's a confrontation between Dylan/John. I get the feeling that the killing is accidental but the cover up is not. And the cover up has to do with other details Dylan and John, respectively, don't want people to know.
  18. So glad I could help! And also I needed an outside SF confirmatin that this happened somewhere else.
  19. Did anyone see the same mistake I saw? The part of the episode where they're scene setting Charles/Liza going to visit the foodie people. There was a 2 second screen between the overhead of the car and the shot of the couple's house, where they had a city view with a bridge but it was the Bay Bridge and SF not an NYC bridge. Very weird. I'm in the Bay Area though so then I started thinking it's a Hulu thing. Lauren was very funny this episode. Loved the call to Rent "how do you measure..." that she sang. Charles is getting less attractive due to his personality. I agree with him about the pen name though. My understanding of the food publishing space is that if they did use the pen name it would take extra marketing resources because you couldn't leverage the brand and exisiting following of these two already famous people and their accomplishments and audience. There goes the James Beard mention, just to mention one. Why he didn't say to the couple that he'd think about it and/or use the time to try to talk them out of it? They way they were acting seemed like they just had this cute silly idea, but did they not care how many copies it sold? The whole thing was odd. Is it wrong to answer this even if I'm not totally sure? Eh. I'll Try. My memory of it is it just stopped being a story line, nos explanation. They didn't address why. That said, that deal was related to the Martha Plimpton character and Liza, and the big age lie etc.
  20. I think of this/yours as the Wonder Years generation. (Sorry if that’s simplistic!) Kevin Arnold’s age on that show, seeing so much change but also removed from it because you’re not an adult. I’m GenX, close to the actors age not the characters age, so that show had a lot of impact on me. My parent are the very tail end of the Silent Generation (1928-1944) and you never hear about them (ha, joke) but there’s a similarity with Gen Z in that they were both born in a time of war and economic collapse. I was reading some report that said many Gen.Z feel they’re the first generation to take climate change seriously and have their voice heard about the environment. Not sure I agree they’re the first. (Technology has certainly enabled their voice to be heard louder.) But to that point Im trying to see the notGreta character as a generational composite.
  21. Maybe they suspected the format sucked and people would leave within the hour. Such as yours truly.
  22. Right? Makeup and hair, but we see NO imagery just people smiling some guy staring at the teleprompter? This... it feels like work.! Like it’s a bad zoom version of an awards show, too much talking too many people staring at screens. The musical performances took place earlier so I can’t even look forward to that.
  23. From eonline but reported in a few spots: Why Blake Horstmann Says The Bachelor Franchise Will End for Good After Michelle Young's Season Tldr “So, why does Blake think that will be the last bow for The Bachelor franchise? "Whether you think it's right, wrong, whatever your stance on the Chris Harrison thing, I think it drove away a lot of loyal fans and viewers," he explained. "And I think ratings are gonna plummet, and that's my prediction.” Wishful thinking for Blake— less competition for the ladies at Stagecoach, amiright? 😉
  24. There was a little room off of the kitchen, the door between the fridge and the stove area. I think it’s a pantry? There was something that looked like a paper towel holder in there. Though maybe it was a 1/2 bathroom. Who knows.
  25. I'll admit I got the Domino magazine this cottage was featured in, and either I wasn't looking closely enough or it's the story behind these design choices that I know now, but I was not digging this. Powderpuff Grey Gardens minus the cats. The upstairs guest bedroom wall texture I liked. I worry how cold that room is going to get but it's not my energy bill, so whatevs. The master was not as pulled together but it felt sort of personal to Alli. I think the idea of using pieces of old wallpaper is neat but I personally would've kept it to a focal wall. The like the stove too but I liked it better as green. I'm ok with the ceiling being white but I do think she could have made it work with the wood and the green palette she started with. Now, the bad. The coffee stain (which I thought was original based on pics -- nope) in the main room downstairs looked dirty. I'm still sort of confused about what she applied it to, I guess everything? I can see it as a technique to age something new to match old but the walls before were old and lovely. I also think the floor is problematic, and ultimately went into jenky territory (hilarious that her husband told her it walked a fine line between brilliant and jenky). Sure what she did was very affordable, and she is the client of herself, but if you have a very patchy look in an environment that's not surrounded by very high end furnishings, the whole place is -- it's gonna look busted. You put a street couch (I'm exaggerating but...) in a room with that floor it looks like a squatter lives there, sorry. Also, a fridge behind a door? Is a neat door but now you have to open 2 doors to get into the fridge? Would drive me crazy.
