Makes sense about the foreign fiance not getting paid in US (Work laws and immigration laws in play) ---- but I still think that the pay rate is variable. Possibly they start at a given rate whether it is $1000 per episode or season (per season seems really low and not likely?) but I bet when they turn out to be a good drama couple or a very likeable couple they get more. I am not sure if they are able to pay for THINGS as opposed to paying a salary- like trips, restaurants, maybe buying clothing ( like I don't recall seeing where Jay and his family got their winter gear from. that costs money no?) .... and of course for SUMIT and fiance- going shopping for sari and such. Where is that money coming from if he is not working and they have extremely limited funds.........just sayin' Obviously I have no knowledge and just guessing.

Also just wanted to say that when she is not smiling, I do think she is a very pretty lady. When she is smiling (with her mouth closed) she still is a pretty lady. When she is smiling with her mouth open, she looks like a pretty lady with lousy teef! Still a pretty lady. Maybe a bit whacked out. Still a pretty lady. 🙂

This is true as to the first part--- but assault is still assault and I too think it's wrong for the female assaulting the male to be accepted or minimized.

I was flipping through the channels earlier and saw the Kloe show with the body makeover......well it started me thinking that Kendall seems to be the one to stay out of the spotlight (other than modeling and such when it's deliberate to be front and center). Then I came here and read a few comments and apparently she is also in the spotlight ----but I guess to a lesser degree and I am clueless about her basketball boyfriend. Here I was going to ask if the suspicion or her sexuality has been raised........hope this is not inappropriate but you know the rest of the family is like non stop relationships. just sayin'

I keep looking because she definitely looks fuller even in her face. At least on the last episode I saw, I am pretty sure they were drinking wine. She seems a bit like she is trying to be sure she is entertaining enough ( for the TV show )and Alexei just seems relaxed and comfortable.

I had to look at the photo because watching the show on the TeeVee, in her late stage of pregnancy she is not looking very good. Her face looked so distorted and bloated and just not cute at all. I was wondering if once she had the baby she would go back to looking like herself. The pic of the happy trio at the airport in Looville shows her looking more like her old self. Not looking great but if she just got off the plane = then that could explain it. I used to think she was sort of cute looking but late stage prego is not a good look on her.

I keep wondering about that- I like them as a couple by the way. I notice that she seems to always be drinking wine or something alcoholic so that was the clue that she was not pregnant. I think she is very pretty but I did think she put some weight on and initially I figured she was prego (but then I saw the booze). I didn't notice that on last night- will try to re-watch and pay attention! I do hope they have a baby. They really seem normal and like it's a normal, comfortable healthy relationship.

This is so true. And I keep saying regarding Nicole, that I do watch because it's sure good drama but I feel more and more with her (and Azan?) that it is just sad. I think her family is wise to it all, and she is just really, as my beloved late mom used to say, "simple". That was her terminology for people who were not mentally r*******, and considered functional, but really challenged. I see Nicole being more articulate and conniving which shows more intelligence, but overall, she seems to be simple. I guess she believes and holds on to what she wants to happen, but it's just showing more and more that she is not intelligent and maybe? not competent??

So , regarding Fer and Mo (hammed) and Lar (issa) and many others--- it kind of really points to the need to revamp the laws if these people can just stay here with no real connection. please don't throw stuff at me- I am just stating what is obvious to me.

I am with you Mrs Hanson and Realreality--- I do sense genuine affection with these 2 - if not good judgement. I also think he likely did not think this would actually HAPPEN and oops here it is.

I find her looks very changeable or variable- ( and I think I might have said this way way back) -In some angles she looks very cute and even quite attractive but in most, I see the monkey face with pretty skin and nice hair.

After seeing Amber and her love meeting with the psychiatrist, I have to confess that for the first time, I really feel bad for Amber. Girl has serious issues , as do a lot of people, but with many of these "stars", they have no guidance whatsoever.

To people like me (and I guess you 🙂 ) I don't know how this is anything positive. I really find it so troubling. I know it's their bodies and they can do what they want, but I agree----WHY??? And that they are rewarded so handsomely $$$$ is very troubling to me. I don't want to get all preachy and soapboxy but come on. This is demented.

I keep coming back to watch them because I am one of those who just finds it fascinating (in a negative way) that they live the lives they live with minimal talent and ability but are so rewarded. Rob is the only one - as far as I can recall- who got a real education and seems to have true smarts------but he is so damaged. What a warped home. I can't feel too sorry for most of them as their finances seem to take care of them and feed their lifestyle- but he is definitely struggling and seems like the family is less of a match for him.

wow I guess I haven't been on the Jazz threads for a lot longer than I thought. Didn't even know that Nicole was seeking surgery (which I now read is completed) and that Jazz will be attending Harvard. Wow so much news to digest!

YES about the prepping more snacks than I've seen at parties for thirty... and not every person watches tv in bed. ( I watch me a lotz of tv and I don't have a TV in the bedroom). There was some discussion earlier that probably TLC foots the bill or something especially seeing how much of it is ordered in .... and Darcy and twin with their big bowls of candy which I suspect they would never eat. More and more the curtain is pulled back and we realize just how staged it all is. (yes and I still watch 🙂

I agree, I can't help watching Nicole but feel so guilty when I am so disgusted by her stupidity and poor judgment. I was so turned off when after her mom asked about May going to kindergarten over there, and Nicole said duh she has to talk to Azan about that..........and her parents were like how did you not already talk about this?!?! Pitiful. Her step father is really quite savvy and I felt for him when he said I just hope she doesnt come back pregnant.
