I can't take Lala seriously. She always seems like she's proving the point that if she talks louder and faster, then she must be right. I find it offensive how she tries to be so cutting edge and talk trash for the shock value. I guess it does work for her because she's still there.......... ?

Seriously- one would think that with the magic of filming and editing, that there might be additional footage to substitute over the shut up I'm talking no I;m talking you shut up. This is when I question why I' watch this. If this is the best they can do, then I feel justified in falling asleep and having to find it on demand to see if I did miss anything. I did wake up to hear Rachel say how she thought about them being a throuple since she is in love with Sandy and she already loves Arianna.

This is all getting way too heady for my brains. I get the idea of respect and all, but to me, this is over the top. I look forward to watching the reunion tonight or is it tomorrow night. Either way, I'll be watching.

No judgement here. We leave for vacation next Sunday ... so I'll be able to watch at least part 1 of the reunion. ( who knows how many parts it's going to need).. I was starting to panic but then when I realized I'll be here to see it, I breathed a sigh of relief. But I do think it's so phony and staged but yes I do watch it!

so very spot on. ^^^^^^that right there. It struck me as so ridiculously staged. They should have at least had him in the room, maybe drinking a cup of coffee or looking in the fridge and then saying his line. This was just so stooopid looking. He came in to speak his line out of nowhere! Nope no staging went on here. And re Kristen D, I also didn't recognize her at first. She had a lot more done than hair extensions and spray tan and implants. She had some chin and nose ( and probably teeth) done as well. I didn't use to watch the show that closely, but I remember her being off the wall looney tunes. The good news is she seems to have totally gotten herself together. At least she played the part of that for now.

Forgive me for asking but hoping someone can elighten me. How did it come about that Katie and Arianna would open a sandwich shop? I get that if their partners were in business together that for script purposes, it would make sense but in the real world.... is/was there any explanation as in logic for this? Many thanks.

Of course I do agree with you here. On the other hand though, I do often feel like even more is staged so who knows what the "reality" is. I know, at times I scare myself with conspiracy theories so to speak. I'm torn between feeling sorry for them because it's their lives ( and our gossip) but then I do wonder how much is just happening in real life.

Yes, I know this is not serious state dinner stuff, but it's still a big thing. I still say I find it ridiculous that Arianna and LVP were there. As much as I detest KimmyK, she definitely has a lot more weight in the public eye compared to these 2. Well good for them. I'm going to be away for the reunion part 1. I sure hope they continue to replay ad nauseum for when I come back so I can catch up......:)

Thanks for explaining whose guests they will be-------and I understand it's a roast and all but I still am shaking my head that with all that goes on in this world -that Arianna and LVP will be there. Yes I watch this show (one of my many guilty pleasures) but I still am just struggling to understand them being there.

I tried to quote about the correspondents' dinner but it doesn't appear to be working at the moment. Anyway, I want to say that if LVP and Arianna are going there, invited, then gimmeabreak but if this is the White House Correspondents' Dinner- I might have to really question what the media does when reporting important political stuff.

I had a pop up this morning about Ryan's latest arrest and was coming here to share it but I see you're on top of it. It truly is tragic- all snark aside. I mean he really is continuing to go down that path. No matter how much his parents may have enabled his behaviors in the past, my heart breaks for them as this is truly something I pray I never know first hand. On a lighter note, I think Mackenzie looks better with the dark hair. I think that outfit is pretty trashy and fits the aging alcoholic country star but I think the darker hair suits her.

I continue to be torn between what is real and what is staged. I certainly don't want anyone to truly suffer but I guess I just don't know what's scripted. I guess I just can't quite wrap my brain around the very basic part of having a camera filming my life and having intimate conversations ( and actions) on camera, knowing it's going to be seen by millions. The scenes with Rachel and Schwartz "making out" in full view of everyone there was cray cray enough for me, but to know that there are cameras I mean COME ON. WTF?!?!?!? Which is why I wonder if this is all part of the act. I will say though that I think the cast (and the boss man Andy) did not anticipate this level of reaction from the viewing audience.

And yes, She usually looks like a deer caught in headlights..........I just don't get how she could be so clueless. anyone know what her job was is? I mean if she's close to 40 she had to have worked at some point?

I think that while they definitely want the fame ( I'm a celeb you know) I do think that they are also doing it for the $$. As I said, I thought they got way less so it would be the fame........but after learning how much $ they do get, I'd say it's a toss up. I mean this is after all a decent "job". Maybe it doesn't compare with a role in a movie but how many of them are of that status? (yes we know Kim and Kyle but we're talking many many many many years ago).

Re Alcohol and Islam- I always understood it was absolutely forbidden. In the strict Muslim countries that haave also had much less European influence ( Saudi Arabia,for example) it is absolutely forbidden. Morrocco and Tunisia had the French influence and also have a bit more tourism so I think they look the other way with tourists, same I think with Dubai. But in the strict sense, Islam forbids alcohol. In other religions wine is used in the rituals but in Islam it is absolutely not. How Nicole could just say that Makhmood does not like her to drink is just mind boggling to this teevee watcher. WHAT DOES THE QURAN SAY ABOUT ALCOHOL? I can't really quite figure out the fine line of Rachel's awkwardness and the lights are on but no one's home, and the staged scriptedness of the show. She is very flat and devoid of expression ( I don't think it's just the botox) but then again, how much is her real emotion? I guess this applies to all of them. The only thing that seems to ring true through all of this is that each really wants to remain on the show and a story line is pretty much needed.
