Yes to your post but especially to the bolded part. When I was single, (over 40 years ago in very different times of course) my attitude was pretty much that I would go out with anybody once. Now obviously if someone seemed really off that didn't apply but my point is, although first impressions are often valid, there are times when that can change. So with that, I think if someone is signed up to do this married at first sight, I would expect them to give it a good try. I can understand having some reservations but to make a big thing of it just is wrong. It seemed that at the altar she was trying to give it a go and even a little bit of the after chatter she seemed to waiver and again, seemed to be trying to go along with it. I did think his friends did him no favors but I can't see where that would rile someone up - or even his sidepiece comment. As someone mentioned a few pages ago, this show USED to focus more on a couple trying to make things work out. It's really devolved.

I haven't watched in quite a while. I find them so distasteful to look out and listen to. I do watch little bits every so often and agree with the many comments about how distorted and NOT attractive they have paid to become. I agree they were reasonably attractive (but QUITE HARSH) before and now are just cartoons. I can't imagine how distorted their self image has become to seek these looks out. Their body proportions are not pleasing to look at and even their hair is raw looking. I don't mean this in a sarcastic way but legit they should have invested the funds in counseling... I totally can understand that most of us would love to change some parts of our appearance but they just went full on madness with it. I suspect that some of it is work that's done for free for the exposure possibly, but I can't imagine someone seeking out who did D and S and decide to use them. If I found out who did the work it would be to eliminate the chance that I would have them work on me.

haha maybe that's why I never seem to have seen what most of you have! But I did watch the wedding episode last night. The After party was good last week except that Lindsey DOMINATED. I don't think I saw it this week. ((snooze.....zzzzz))

Yes I just caught this the other night and was shocked to see Amber and Gary there. I agree about all these vacays the "stars" I mean cast get to go on and of course their kids are taken care of. Amber did look more normal than I have ever seen. I don't think she should be made to feel bad, but, I find them trying to make her feel like she is a good mom is just OUT of line. Jade is a mess, and Briana actually better than I have seen her look for ever? She usually is just alying around with her hair in a messy bun because she is such a busy mom with no help and no support ( but lives with her mom and sisters). Also can I just mention that although I can curse with the best of them, and yes, at times my kids when they were little did hear some bad words come out of my mouth--------ummmmm Briana's mom curses non stop in front of the kids while she is being filmed. I mean have a little restraint..

Alyssa definitely did not seem delighted at the ceremony, but I read it that it was more of the tension and the reality sinking in. She was jokey and trying to be somewhat conversational even a bit after. It seemed some of the comments his friends made sat wrong with her. I thought it was pretty insignificant the comment about he can be condescending when trying to explain something. I mean I know it can be obnoxious but it doesn't seem as horrible as someone telling you he has a history of cheating or lying or whatever. She cited that as just something she couldn't deal with. She also said something to the effect of " not one thing I said I needed " was fulfilled with him. I wish she would have given more of a try.

I was impressed that they mentioned her working remotely and it seemed like she really was doing that. I still think much of the drama is for a storyline. I really enjoyed seeing Alexei and his family and his friends on the beach.

I thought I had read that Memphis was an RN. I was trying to reconcile that. Now you are saying she is a Nurse Practictioner? I am beside myself. Really? In all seriousness, considering her background that she shared about her parents being druggies and such, that is just amazing. So how can she be so simple minded? Nurse practitioner takes a good amount of school AND intelligence AND capability. I am lost.

I'm old and had to google who that was /is. I can see all the resemblances people are suggesting though I never thought of it ( certainly not Kendall Jenner but yeah I can see it). I must be the only one thinking well of Alyssa. I was taken with her when they were doing shots and she said something like "not for me". To me, that was refreshing and real. I am sure she knows how to party but probably just doesn't care to get wasted and there's that thing with a camera filming it all. Anyway, I guess we'll see how it plays out but I also though Lindsay was a nightmare so I automatically sided with Alyssa.

I agree Alexei should be able to visit home. He remarked that she kept saying he should go, and then when he decided to do it, she was shocked. I think she and her father are hyping this to have some story line. She can see her parents all the time, and he gets to see his if covid travel lets him. I also get the impression that on a daily basis,he is very hands on so I think she just doesn't know about taking care on her own.

Agree, I think she is quite attractive and naturally so. I don't think she has a future as a model.

I somehow thought last night was only 2 hours so I guess I did miss some stuff......I did see Jasmina though. I agree she is breathtakingly beautiful. From what I saw, it did look like they were both pleased with each other ( yes, he was over the moon but she seemed quite pleased and happy..). I thought I saw people commenting that was not the case so I wonder did I doze off even more than I thought?? Re Alyssa , I am not sure what exactly this means, but they said she was a social media something so who knows maybe she gets lots of perks and stuff. I do agree she seems very controlling but she seems genuine and not phony. Regarding the dog rescuing, she has been doing that I think for quite a few years and is pretty connected in the rescue world. I mean by that, she is the real deal as far as rescues go. I don't know much more about her and I don't know her, but I do know her rescue angle is legit.

ok I didn't look at the spoiler clip- but when I saw the photo of Alyssa and Chris in qtpye's post like 3 or 4 above this, I thought the body language was not promising. They did not look like they were into each other or comfortable with each other. I think I have shared that in the still photos, I think Alyssa looks much better than in the actual videos. I still think she is a very attractive woman but sometimes I don't think the videos flatter her. I think the opposite with Chris. In the videos, it is much more flattering a look than the still photos. I don't think physically they are a match, but from the little we've seen so far, they seem to share really wanting to be married and not being loud and raunchy in public. Like how she didn't want to do shots and sat with her friends, and he was not into dancing with the strippers but saying he wanted that with his wife. I figured if any couple would bomb out I could see it being Lindsey and Mark. She is really a lot to deal with and although he was going in with a positive attitude and trying to see the bright side, he is definitely aware of how over the top she is ( energetic I think he said? lol) and to me, that would just wear me OUT.

We actually saw Ronni Spector about 5 years ago. She did sit a bit more while singing and talking, but still very energetic and she really loved performing. I was so upset when I saw this on the news. May she rest in peace. A real classic.

Agree entirely. I only watch for about 2 minutes at a time if I am flipping thru the channels . I agree with other comments that I thought Darcy was hard to take and a bit of a mess in her first season ( back with Jessie) but over time she has really become very difficult to watch. I also find her voice ( and her sister's ) to be incredibly jarring and unpleasant. They are caricatures. I can't.

I meant to add, that I think she is having a hard time and it is making her be even more needy, with the weight gain from pregnancy . When they were showing their history through photos, she looked so stunning. She is still a very pretty woman, but the (understandable pregnancy) weight does not do her face justice. I think she has commented quite a few times about how she "used to " be cute and looked good. I think Alexei is very loving and praises her so I think this is mostly within her. Having been there a longgggggggg time ago, the weight gain can be a real struggle. I always say they are the most normal couple and for that, they can seem a bit dull or boring. That's where Alexei's sense of humor comes in.

I have always liked them as a couple, and I have continued to appreciate their normalcy. He is really carrying it for them. I am so impressed with his ability to show his sense of humor in his non-native language. I mean really he is very quick and funny.

I was wondering about this too- and checked the various folders and saw this had the most recent updates ( yours!). Loren sure looks so different with the pregnant face.

From my hazy way of watching this show, I think the coming attractions for next week showed Xiomena saying she lived with a hit man and then Mike starting to react. It really does look like he is mild mannered and all but is seeing the light. They do have to have some more episodes and filming matter you know. Tune in next week.

I didn't really think that, but I did notice she kept doing something strange with her eyes: a kind of fluttering or blinking like trying to focus? I noticed it particularly when they were at the cafe and I wasn't sure if it was just that the sun was in her eyes or if this was going on other times but I just didn't notice it.

I think when we first saw the potential matches, they all had some degree of "attractiveness". Not any movie stars but nice looking people. I think as they show their personalities quite a few look less and less attractive. I did think Jasmina, Alyssa, and even Lindsey were pretty nice looking. As I have already shared, Lindsey is just grating on my nerves and I hope that they don't give her as much opportunity to monopolize as they did in the after show. And yes I agree about how stupid an idea it is to have themed drink for the after show. I bet someone gets paid good money to think of that and create it, and probably lots of time figuring out which glass to use .Oy.
