I totally forgot about Ben giving Mahogz $1,000. How did that come about or how did he explain that?

I usually fall asleep even if it's a good show - so with the DST switch I was looking forward to being awake for it. I really only watched for maybe 5-7 minutes and it was such a ridiculous snooze fest in my opinion. And really to take up the first minute or so to talk about the special drink?? Whatzupwithat? I didn't find anything at all entertaining or engaging and I don't know who this special guest is was anyway. I guess I am just pleased ((somewhat)) that I did watch a full episode. I won't bother with the after party anymore. I used to think I was missing out because I would fall asleep, and I sometimes tried to see it on demand. This espisode last night cured me.

Come sit by me. I agree. She may be nice enough, but I don't recall ever seeing her say anything that revealed any depth or any intelligence behind it. Sorry for sounding so down on her. I do hope she finds a good man, although honestly I think she did have 2 but she was just too immature and flaky to recognize it.

I did not see the birthday thing but when the episode aired with Papa X telling Mike he had concerns about him, I thought that had to be one of the fakest teevee moments ever. His trash daughter who is a nail technician ( remember that?) who can't work because of covid has 2 boys by 2 men neither or whom can contribute to the boys or be present----------------and an employed American is offering to marry his daughter and he's going to say he has reservations????????? Script revision needed but I guess it's all progressed beyond that. As much of a loser as Mike is, I think X is worse. Trash is too complementary a term for her.

Honestly I cannot make any sense out of the Mahogany Ben situation. It just seems so so so so so very OFF . What truly confounds me is that I believe that paid actors would be better actors. Something is not splainable to me so far. I mean who has a (virtual) pen pal like Mahogs is presenting this to be? Granted, Ben is delusional but the whole thing with her parents and then going away over night with said suitor??? Too many inconsistencies.

I totally 100% agree. It's just sad. And the poor kid is just stuck there in her situation. I mean, most 13 year olds do not have purple hair, and nose piercing. I get the wisdom about choose your battles and tatoos and piercings, while not my cup of tea, are definitely not the end of the world and rather trivial as a matter of fact, BUT I try to think back to when my kids were that age and if there were girls like that, the OTHER PARENTS were not thrilled and even maybe a little avoidant. At least she has gotten a lot better looking over time. Poor Sophia.

I am jjust amazed, as a very much MOT ( Member of the Tribe ) it did NOT ever occur to me to even think Mike was Jewish... but now I see you all have shared some pretty strong evidence. ( Truth be told I read his mom's obituary and then saw the truly sweet and lovely and heartbreaking posts her husband, Mike' s dad left in tribute to her.Really and sincerely). I totally have zero idea what that was about him wearing the cross and the wifebeater. I can't explain how he could wear the cross. I'm seriously now wondering even more about him- he does seem like a good hearted guy, but to take so much abuse from that evil X I just can't. And, regarding Mahogs and her parental units being too ashamed of where they live in potential poverty- it never troubled Kareenie's mom and dad with the plastic outdoor furniture from Walmart ... so there.

Ya know, I kind of noticed that and something else she said (but now I can't remember ) and I did think that was too Anglo sounding. I mean a native Spanish or French or whatever speaker might say something similar to our Ummm but it would have a different sound. Thanks for putting this into words........

Your post was great- but these 2 points times 1000! Love the visual you painted of Gino 's hat coming off to find another and another and another. :) And Mahogany... I can't quite figure out what is so off about her but something is very off. Yes, her English is too good for her supposed situation but the whole thing about her. She does something with her eyes as well ( not quite like Memphis but something strange) like maybe does she normally wear glasses? Something is off - and her attire and that she is able to get there with her car . I can't put my finger on it but it's way way way off. The only thing I keep thinking though is if she is an actress I think she would play the part a lot better. Confused here. Oh my yet another visual that has me chuckling big time. I mean so mash chuckle.

Could Lindsey have been any more hatefilled and nasty than her rant in the bathroom? The stuff she said was so OTT that it confirmed my super low opinion of her. I really didn't like her after the first after party where she would not shut up and talked over everyone. She continues to be my least favorite. Alyssa is almost comical. I like Chris and Mark. I can't stand Katina;s voice.

I thought I remembered possibly from the EXPERTS visits to the prospective matchees' homes perhaps that Chris said he had a dog crate because he was going to get a dog. I am pretty sure he did not have one at that point but had the crate. So people like the EXPERTS thought- oh he is going to get a dog, and she rescues dogs and has a dog, they would be perfect together clearly! I guess he adopted it in the interim between the expert visit and the wedding??

Shocked to see Sofia looking a lot more normal and attractive. She was a very funny looking kid for a while. Yeah, I get that purple hair is not what I would have had my daughter do at her age, but all things considered she looked appropriate. Farrah really looks so distorted. It's a shame because I really did think she was a very attractive young lady before all the surgery and enhancements.

I didn't know any of this but was watching the Reunion of all reunions and Leah was all coy about her man. She tries so hard to be so cool and mature. I can't help but just cringe at her. I guess she really can't help it but she's just such a simple simple woman.

You know, I think Lisa R is just a total proponent of the "there is no bad publicity" party. I can't stomach her, but she doesn't seem to care how awful she is as long as she is in a storyline. That's my take on it.

I watch it ( not recorded) so I get pretty bored while I am doing so. I agree with your take. Molly is increasingly hard to listen to. Doesn't matter if paired with Cynthia or her NYPD love. I used to enjoy Molly to a degree but no longer. I agree about Ron and Betty and Kenny and Armando. Just not very interesting or humorous. I do like Yara and Jovi and Anny and Robert. They are funny and are at least better actors as they are believable with their comments.

YES! That's what I remembered as her step mother. There were a few scenes with her. I thought she looked way young to be married to the father. She looks close in age ( to my eyes) to X and her sister. Also, since most of the Colombian women we see on these shows are heavily into make up - I don't think I ever saw her look like she looked in a mirror. Again, not really criticizing just noticing and sharing. She always looked like she just finished scrubbing the floor.

Yes, I have said this and cannot shake it from my thoughts. In true reality, Papa X would be celebrating that someone is offering to take care of his problematic daughter and her sweet offspring. He would be offering to pack them up and ship them out. I couldn't stop laughing when Papa X was saying he wasn't sure of Mike's intentions or what he thought of Mike. Also, did anyone else get a kick out of Papa X wearing the same shirt to meet Mike at the cafe and then to go to the fancy shmancy dinner? ( no judgement here, I get that he doesn't have a wardrobe to pull from but that's exactly my point about the poverty...they live well- they have nice shelter and they have clothing and enough to eat but they are not living like they would be HERE).
