  1. Dr. Rick continues his therapy at the airport and at the shopping mall.
  2. Looks to me like David of Schitt's Creek. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong though. I would call M*A*S*H a comedy but not a sitcom. That said, "sitcom" is just the blanket way of referring to comedies on TV, especially back in the '70s. M*A*S*H was breaking the mold by mixing a lot of drama in with the laughs. Hearing it called a sitcom doesn't bother me, but later on the word "dramedy" came along, and that fits better.
  3. Dr. Gupta is, in addition to being a neurosurgeon, a CNN medical contributor. I love him because he eased my anxiety so often during the pandemic with his calm demeanor and (get this) scientific facts. He's doing fine as guest host but he truly rocks as the medical voice of reason on cable news.
  4. So I don't really know much about Ralph Lauren as a person (though I did know that was him making a cameo appearance), but he must be a really good sport, considering what he allowed this show to do. The portrayal of his company, that whole episode where he might have been making out with Phoebe, and the way Joey keeps knocking his clothes. Yes, all in good fun and lots of sitcom misunderstandings, but even so, what a cool guy to be OK with it. Lots of execs aren't nearly that self-deprecating.
  5. I'm right there with ya. He's one of my all-time favorite people. In this particular case, we just had the passing of Ned Beatty who did a memorable guest turn as a visiting colonel. I assumed someone was mentioning that great performance. I always remember his parting "Via con Dios!"
  6. Made even funnier by how incredibly deadpan Tommy Lee Jones is through the whole thing. After J assists a woman who's giving birth to her... squid, and the agents get back into their car: "Anything about that seem unusual to you?"
  7. I am too, but I'm surprised how impressed I am with Buzzy. (Did not like him as a contestant.) Dude really stepped up.
  8. Permanent host to be announced late July or early August. I get that Aaron Rodgers is a favorite of many, but he nearly put me to sleep a few times. And honestly, 7pm is not when I should be nodding off. It's odd that an elite athlete came across as so low-energy. I enjoyed Anderson Cooper, but then again, I've loved him for years. I don't imagine he's looking to leave his real gig. My heart is still with Ken. But yeah, let's get off this revolving door of hosts. It's wearing thin.
  9. In the pilot, Monica introduces Rachel as "another survivor of Lincoln High."
  10. AND they got Howie Mandel to reprise his role as Gizmo's voice!
  11. This is not the first time I've heard that, so it must be true, but what exactly did they think would happen with an empty filing cabinet prop and him flailing his arms around? It also begs the question: how was that scene supposed to end, if not on that particular gag?
  12. Tell us who so we can also root for her.

That is such an underrated episode. It's one of my favorites from season 11, more for Frasier's plotline than Niles'. Poor guy, having such a horrendous first day. "You're done with your 10:00 appointment already?" "That was my 11:00." Good thing Homer Simpson shows up and salvages the day for him.
  15. Al Jean on Twitter confirms airdates: https://twitter.com/AlJean/status/1361449415546920964?s=19.
  16. Seriously, those people don't know the Gordon Lightfoot song?! They need to hang out on this board. I'm a fan of this champ because I'm a sucker for dimples.
  17. I love both Anderson Cooper and Dr. Gupta, so I'll be excited for their stints. I am, however, totally sold on Ken by this point. He seems to have won over a lot of viewers who didn't think they were going to like him.
  18. I had to refresh my memory about why they did away with co-champs, so yesterday I googled around and found this article. Apparently contestants were trying for ties too frequently and the show decided to put an end to that.
  19. I laughed so hard at Brian's FJ response. Very cute. Ken took it well. I will miss Donesh with his nice smile.
  20. Instead of "Be more specific," Ken said "More specifically...?" on the Versace clue. I'm not sure if he consciously made the decision to use a different phrase but I appreciated it.
  21. I thought Ken did fantastic. That can't be easy, but the game flowed. I'm good if he becomes permanent, but I'm also interested in seeing others give it a try. I read on Jeopardy Fan (I think) that the show isn't going to announce the permanent host until next season. That's the only place I've seen that, though.
  22. Philadelphia market is airing it. I was worried, but we good.
  23. There are two new ones (that I've seen). In the other one, he's asking if they know how to pronounce "quinoa." And later he says "Now we're going to open up a PDF," and everyone's like, no, no. It's funnier than the lecture one. But I love this whole ad campaign too.
  24. I recently saw a DD heat map. The DDs are almost never in the top row, and rarely in the second. Wait, I managed to find it, so I'll link it here. Just saw a Jeopardy commercial earlier today where

There's a question trending on Twitter today, "what's the best fake song?" Meaning one that exists only in a movie or TV show. The one that immediately came to my mind? "Flesh is burning, nah nah nah nah nah nah." Now it's gonna be in your head all day...
