  1. She's Italian. English isn't her first language. ETA: Here's the Wikipedia page on her.
  2. You are not alone! I thought Hope and Aiden were good today, too. I like Hope quite a bit when she's not having to serve as Jennifer's #1 handmaiden and asskisser and agree that KA deserves better than what they've given her. She would be good with Rafe, but I've seen a spark once or twice between her and Daniel as well. Now the fall out from that pairing could be interesting ... then again it would mean a lot of screen time for "Cuz" Jennifer so maybe that shouldn't be put out in the universe.
  3. I don't care for Amanda, but what Korina and Char said to her about her winning taking a win away from someone else was bullshit. They are in a competition! Do those two really think Amanda shouldn't try to win because they don't like her? Gah. Hopefully Korina goes next week. Fade is a kind, talented, and innovative person. I wish the judges would give him some love. Emily's dress was awful. Or maybe it was just brought low by the death veil? She's talented but seems stuck in another era or something. I'd like to see her make it to the end, though. Kini and Sean were my favorites, especially Kini's look. I don't understand why they gave the win to Sean, except I do since Nina liked Sean's pants better than Kini's dress and what Nina likes ends up the winner. That burlesque dancer looked shellacked. She couldn't move her face except for a tiny bit of her mouth. Scary.
  4. I like the relationship between Eve and Paige and (for the most part) Paige and JJ, so if Eve and JJ screwed that would be ruined. Even worse, it would give Jennifer something else to piss and shriek about. They sure do look like they're headed in that direction, though. Eve and JJ as friends or mentor/mentee would be more interesting to me. He could be a good little schemer, and an older woman/younger man platonic scheme team would be so much fun. It could provide the angst between Eve/Paige, Paige/JJ, and their targets. Bonus! It would drive stupid Jennifer even crazier than she already is. Like LeftPhalange, I hope today's lunch is part of Sami's long con. EJ does not deserve to be forgiven and Abigail should not be allowed to have the last word. JL is a very beautiful and talented woman. Days is lucky to have her. I wish they'd let Theresa and Nicole become friends. Nicole desperately needs a pal and Theresa needs more than just Anne. The three of them as friends would be wonderful. I'm liking Aiden more and more and am looking forward to finally learning his backstory. Abby and Ben were FF material, as usual. Last but not least, shut the fuck up, Maggie.
  5. Even though I know Days shoots very far ahead, it is still striking or surprising or something whenever I see it in print. It's ridiculous. Anyway, I'm looking forward to Melissa. Hopefully the writers won't fuck it all up by making her a sanctimonious blowhard like Jennifer, Abby, Maggie, Daniel, etc.
  6. Wow. That was brutal and sad and scary. The way Eric stabbed those two repeatedly and with so little effort ... it was a tad too realistic. Anyway, I liked Bobby and Danny and have no idea where they can go with Terry after this. Or Billie and Christine for that matter. Hopefully it will get a second season.
  7. Rosalie will probably be a Cassadine in a way that makes no sense and is utterly pointless. That is the Ron C. way. I like Sam and Patrick very much but hate that the writers shit all over Robin for it. Better writers wouldn't have allowed that to happen. She could snap him in two with those gargantuan hands of hers. I had to stop watching. His boredom and her creepy grinning are just too painful.
  8. Theresa and Eve are the second best couple on the show right now. I continue to like how they're writing Paige, except for the bits where she makes excuses for Abigail's begging EJ for sex while pretending to be Sami's friend. I so wish they would move these three (along with JJ for that matter) away from the Devereaux hags. Speaking of, Jennifer's hypocrisy knows no bounds. She stands there and accuses Theresa of enjoying other people's misery, then two seconds later she does the very same thing! Not like she hasn't done it before - Eve, Nicole, and Dr. Tan have all been subjected to it. I hate her character so damn much. Would it hurt to have someone, anyone, call her and her insipid, bizarre looking daughter out for being hypocritical douches every once in awhile and have it stick? I mean, damn. I have zero interest in Abby and Ben and still have no idea why 1) she gets so much screen time, 2) her scenes are so much longer than most everyone else, and 3) why so many other characters are wasted talking about her. Abby is a horrible character played by a horrible actress. Couldn't some time be devoted to finally doing something with Aiden and his backstory? I actually like the character and want to know more about him. I also like Hope and want to see what she's thinking/feeling about Bo and their marriage. Having her and Aiden do nothing but bicker and flashback to their dance over and over again is getting tiresome. And when was the last time Abe was on? When Theresa clubbed John over the head with the poker? At least they haven't brought him out of backburnerville to sing Abby's praises like poor Kayla and Lucas.
  9. Melissa Archer should be interesting. I liked her on OLTL, especially her early run when she bonded with Christian and was being gaslighted by the awful Jen Rappaport. She can be very good given the right story. And yes, a thousand times yes, if her arrival means less time for the awful Abigal and her hag of a mother, all the better.
  10. Please let Hope and that mouth-breathing stalker she married move to the background. I'm so sick of the both of them. I like TK and HT, but wish they would write Ridge and Katie off the show. They're both boring and unnecessary. And so fucking shrill. Let them go to Switzerland or something for Ridge to get the magical treatments the Swiss always seem to have, get cured, and then move to Paris. Will and RJ could easily visit back on forth on all the private modes of transportation these people own. Also, KKL is a beautiful woman but her hair is looking even shittier than it normally does. It's so limp and yellow.
  11. Was just coming to post the same thing. When he saw Terry pulling up through the window and whispered about how freaky it was ... that was so well done. I hope The Divide is getting good ratings and some critical acclaim. I haven't loved a show or a show's cast this much in a very long time.
  12. Oh, Jeebus, that was fantastic! Thank you for posting that. I'm still laughing ...
  13. Nooooooooooo! His acting tics are even worse than Michelle Stafford's incessant, inappropriate grinning and gesticulating, IMO, and that's saying something since I can't stand her.
  14. It's not just the pants. She is sort of bow-legged, but as you say in a slightly different way. I loved Sami's dress today. Kate's, too.
  15. If EJ condemns Will for outing Abby instead of hurting his mother tomorrow, I will scream. I am beyond sick of everyone excusing Abigail's behavior and expecting Sami to forgive multiple betrayals. Fuckers. And if Sonny (and Lucas, if they have him in scenes with Sami before AS leaves) continues to berate her for the actions of others, I will scream some more. Anyway, there was way too much Abby and Ben today. Not that I watched them, mind you -- they're both boring and weird looking -- but it sucked having to press the FF so much. Any why was so much time spent on Jennifer whining and carrying on? She's such a fucking drama queen. It would have been much more enjoyable to see more of Sami raking EJ over the coals, more of Kate and Lucas, and more of Kate and Clyde. She realized pretty quickly that he was trouble. I look forward to the day she either shoots him, kicks his hillbilly body into a cold river, or sets him up for lifetime imprisonment. IKR? What the hell? Why is he surprised that someone would assume he screwed over his cousin when he willingly and gleefully screwed over his own mother?
  16. I don't think Freddie Smith is very good either, for exactly the same reason. He's very cute, though, and way better than the new guy who plays Will.
  17. Still have a half hour or so to watch, but so far I agree with Eve. Jennifer is absolutely insufferable. I wonder if we'd all be so smug with other people's money? Now if the Days writers posted that article as an example of Will's talent, or as an example of fair and balanced reporting, they failed pretty miserably. But if it was posted to make Will look like even more of an idiot, bravo! I found this piece of hyperbole particularly amusing: Because Abby was fired. For cause. Sometimes this show is infuriating. It's still better than GH, though.
  18. She has to have one of the highest, if not the highest, episode count. And what's even more aggravating is that even when Abby isn't on, the other characters are talking about her! Today was welcome exception. I think she knows? Ollie did apologize to Paige for lying about the Florida thing, but I don't remember what if any excuse he gave her because he bores me to distraction.
  19. I vote for both those options. As for today's show, why doesn't AZ wear her hair like that all the time? She looked amazing. Just smokin'. And, there was no Abigail! Woo hoo! That's all I got.
  20. In some states it is also illegal to record someone without their permission, but I guess not whatever state Salem is supposed to be in. It would nice if someone would at least call Will out for being unethical, though. It's difficult to understand how and why Will went from Nick's bland punching bag to sneaky douchebag in the space of a few weeks. It's a giant bit of plot point writing that is more common to General Hospital than Days.
  21. Will lives in the same bizarro world as those three Deveraux hags, where Sami is Going Too Far and Targeting the People We Love. Oh how I hate them. With the exception of Will, Abigail, and Ollie (everything about him irks), I really enjoyed today's show. Kate and Sami having breakfast in their jammies was wonderful, as was their daily ritual of tormenting EJ. And for the first time ever, I liked Mary Beth! Her line about Rory being able to play dual roles in Dumb and Dumber was pretty funny. In fact, the whole thing with Mary Beth, Eve, JJ, and Rory was surprisingly entertaining. I also liked Paige and Theresa, and appreciate that Paige is no dummy. If they could keep all these people away from Jenn and Abby, the show would be much better for me. I am pretty worried about what's going to happen after AS leaves, though. I'm not planning on leaving, at least not yet, because I still like a number of these characters. But, if they continue to push Abigail to the front all while whitewashing her horrible behavior, then I'll reconsider.
  22. The guy who plays Will is sort of terrible. AS was really good, I thought, especially at the end. I also liked Kate and EJ, his ultra-smugness aside. The rest was fastforward material, because I can't stand Abigail, Adrienne, Ben, or Jordan alone or in any any combination with each other. I had forgotten that in addition to gaslighting and stalking Austin, Abby had also gone crying to Carrie complaining about the guy she wanted (Austin!) was not paying attention to her. Fucking psycho. Jack knew his daughter was unstable but Jennifer waved Abby's behavior away as someone else's fault, just like this time. I really, really do not understand why these two are put on a pedestal with everyone proclaiming their goodness and virtuousness. They are both manipulative, controlling, hypocritical, and sneaky. I don't think she's attractive at all. But I wouldn't like the character of Abby no matter who was playing her.
  23. Not sure where else to put this ... but last night the woman who plays Anne was in an old episode of Law & Order. It's always fun to have an H!ITG moment. I wonder how many 40-ish actors today got their start on L&O, ST:TNG/DSN/Voyager, or Murder, She Wrote?
  24. Every time I think this show has sunk to a new low, it sinks even lower. Who the fuck writes this shit? (Rhetorical question.) Poor Roger Howarth. Who did he piss off so badly that he got put on Felix-propping duty? If he re-signs a new contract after this, I will be beyond surprised. And the less said about Maxie and that Dunkleman creature, the better. She's so, so stupid. I do really like seeing Mac and Felicia, though. They remind me of when this show used to be good/great instead of whatever the hell it is now.
  25. I stopped watching last week. Hope is a moron, Wyatt is a manipulative stalker, Liam is a manipulative whiner, and Quinn is too deranged and disturbing to be even remotely entertaining for me. I've come to dislike RS's character so much that all I see are her very large teeth, which I know is unkind. All that and the incessant Hope propping are just too much. I mean, the Hope is the Best Thing Ever! sentiment has almost reached Babe Carey and Abby Devereaux level of WTFuckery. If Hope does indeed marry that loser Wyatt and his lunatic mother, I hope they will all go to the backburner for awhile so I can watch again. For all the faults of this show, I really like some of the characters and have missed seeing them everyday.
