I feel like I could have written this post word for word. I adored this one for all the reasons you listed. Most shockingly, I was rooting for her not to return to NY and usually I’m rolling my eyes and irritated at the heroine who gives up a great career in a big city to return home. I wanted them together so badly I didn’t even care. I loved their looks and especially every time he smiled at her. And a kiss in the middle that seemed like real people kissing and not some Hallmark mandated sanitized kiss. This is the only one so far this season I want to rewatch and kept on my DVR.

I tried to like this one, but I just never warmed up to the female lead. I thought of not finishing it, but did hang in there until the end. I liked the secondary characters more.

I’m watching this right now, and you are so right. The male lead pings my gaydar so that may be why I’m not finding the couple believable. HM&M Our Christmas Love Song- I enjoyed this one way more than I thought I would. I especially liked the lead actor. The kiss and aftermath at the 1.5 hour mark was really cute. Even Alicia Witt’s acting worked for me and she can be hit or miss (the low point being that movie where it seemed like she was drunk through the whole thing). Ion’s A Christmas Princess - Was thinking I’d love it, but not so much. It wasn’t bad, I just had higher expectations. The lead make was very good-looking at least. Liked he and the lead female together, but just wanted more. At least the beginning of my recording caught the end of A Cinderella Christmas, which I absolutely love, so I searched for a future airing and set my DVR.

Since we know they’ve filmed through August, does that mean it’s minimally that long? I don’t care about Asshole Eric being gone, but I’m a Sarah/Xander fan (though his woobiness can be grating) and will miss their interactions.

It cracked me up when I first started watching a few months ago when they kept mentioning myspace. I feel like I'm finally in a season where things are more current. I do find myself not caring much about the CotW, but I still enjoy the scenes that show the relationship between the characters,

The worst thing about these hearings is having to watch the show on line or on demand and not being able to ff PG scenes. The second hand embarrassment is so strong for me with KA’s atrocious accent and acting. I know I keep harping on it, but that’s how traumatizing it is for me. 😂 Idon’t even mind the commercials and I NEVER watch live tv just to avoid the commercials.

I’m finally to episodes that actually have threads in the archives so I’m happy to finally have something to compare my own thoughts and opinions to. In the season 10 ep 01 thread, someone mentioned DB had requested not to be in lab scenes. Why did he not want to be in those scenes?

I just saw the preview for the new season and it is all so obviously scripted. 🙄

Ok, so I am almost done with season 9 via Prime and there isn’t a lot to read here (until late season 9 in the archives) but I just have to say I can’t stand Cam. I couldn’t stand her in her first episode and still don’t despite a few ok moments. In the ep I’m currently watching she’s being judgmental about Sweets and an intern flirting while she’s in a serious relationship with an intern herself. Ugh, she grates. Don’t even get me started on how often she likes to remind them she’s the boss. I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but just wanted to get it off my chest.

I know he often calls her queen in Hebrew but I have no idea if that’s the same word.

I really missed them this week and didn’t see them in any previews for next week. I get needing a break, because I don’t think they’ve missed an ep yet, but I hope they return soon.

I just had to say I missed the show and snarking with you all last Friday! I was so excited it was Friday until I remembered the season is over. Cant wait until January. 😀

Anyone watch Freeform’s Turkey Drop? I just started it, but I’m having trouble connecting. FF had one of my favorite Christmas movies last year (No Sleep ‘Til Christmas) so I was hoping for another winner. The lead female character is just annoying me with all her shenanigans to keep her bf.
