UpTV Christmas Cupcakes- I thought I was going to enjoy this one, but when I looked up and realized only an hour had passed, I knew that was a bad sign. I still have over 30 minutes left and I’m so tempted to just stop. I hate to do that, though, because I like to finish. However, I did not finish Rock N Roll Christmas (also UpTV) so it’s not unheard of. I couldn’t believe the daughter in that one was the lead in A Gift Wrapped Christmas. I feel like she wasn’t as charming and charismatic. Plus, she looked different. Write Before Christmas (Hallmark)had THREE kisses between the leads. I’m shocked I tell you. One was supposedly fake, but still. Are we heading into PG territory?!? 😂

The Mistletoe Secret- Good god, Kellie Pickler is such a bad actress. She’s the reason I didn’t even make it through 30 minutes of the Graceland movie last year. I think Tyler Hines and my complete exhaustion from the day is the only reason I made it to the end of this one. Why does she keep getting cast? Is she a huge draw and I’m just out of the loop?

And we didn’t have to wait until the end for a kiss.

Oh good God. Just go away. He probably thinks his singing will land him a record deal. 🙄

And his kid doesn’t have his own bed, let alone his own room.

I was feeling too cynical for the movies this year, but I really enjoyed this one so now I have hope. I thought it was really cute. I did notice Tom Arnold sounding stuffed up the whole time, and it made me think about his drug abuse in the past. Not sure Hallmark would appreciate me making that connection. 🤭

Tall guy, but can’t remember his name so maybe not a great start to our relationship. 😂

I loved it because it came straight from 90 Day Fiancé (Caesar and Maria), candy panties included.

Just watched HM&M’s Nostalgic Christmas and even though I know it’s a common trope, I just can’t with the heroine leaving a lucrative job in the city to buy her father’s wooden toy shop in small town America. I know I should suspend disbelief, but there’s no way that toy store would stay open in this day and age. Nevermind most toy stores would struggle, but a WOODEN toy store? Just no. Starting to think I’ve become too cynical this year for most of these movies. Didn’t even finish Lifetime’s No Time Like Christmas. Boring.

Pao thinks she’s wittier than she actually is. She can go now. I’m enjoying Molly and friend. Not enough Dean and Tarik. Thinking they had an off night with this episode. I still love them.

Last episode there was all this talk from Tania and her friends about what a go getter she is and how hard she works. The shed says otherwise.

Then Alex is a better actor than most on these shows, because he truly seemed besotted with Juliana. Not that I’m disputing it’s all fake. It very well could be.

Omg, yes. I’m so tired of her I’d rather watch all the others. Aside from her, I enjoyed this ep better than others this season.

Apparently one of the SNL writers watches our show. 😂 (This was cut for time. )

Just watched Let It Snow on Netflix and really enjoyed it. I don’t think I’ve watched a Netflix holiday movie that I did not like. Granted, I know I haven’t seen all of them., I just get tired of the G rated ridiculousness of Hallmark sometimes so it’s refreshing. Just starting to try and catch up on the Hallmark movies. First up is Merry Christmas Match and halfway through I’m still engaged. I like the leads together and the story seems to be advancing pretty quickly.

I’m ashamed to admit that briefly crossed my mind, but then I realized what a disservice it would be to that awesome scene (and character) and immediately switched to “They are going to be such awesome friends!” I do want Steve to find love with the right girl for him, though.

I’ve noticed a lot of the convicts are good at turning everything around on the other person. That scene pissed me off.

Pretty sure it was real but for a small, local magazine?

Glorietta- I’m going to give him a piece of my mind. Me- Girl, you can’t afford that. (I know, too easy.) John is NOT the father. Of course he’s not. This was a fake storyline for the show. Disgusting. And just when you think the show has hit its lowest, trashiest point, we’re subjected to the Lacey/Shane bedroom scene. Jesus Christ. Alex is an asshole dick. That was just cruel. So glad Julianna was not putting up with that. Of course, Glorietta remains dumber than a stump and will date a prisoner again. Ugh, I knew we’d be subjected to Lacey the dumpster fire skank on Life After Lock Up. That being said, Yay for Life After Lockup! 😂

I haven’t read the book, but I thought I read somewhere that in the book it was a tampon.

Rewatching this and seeing how Beck insinuated herself back into Joe’s life makes me wonder I mean, he was still obsessing over her even with him saying how he happy he was with Karen (who I really liked) but was keeping his physical distance.

What I couldn’t get past was he had no problem leaving his family behind for what all he knows is forever. I mean he was all about returning to see his brother knighted but in the future there’s no reaction that his brother would be dead now. I tried to ignore that, because fantasy, but I couldn’t let it go.
