Did anyone see this week's episode on David Riemens? Any thoughts?

I'm confused now and I will have to watch the scene again because the person I was watching with took the Callie/Arizona scene as Arizona simply telling Callie they could go back to the original custody arrangement. But I remember Arizona handing Callie a plane ticket and talking about every other year and summers. Did Arizona really give Sofia to Callie to take to New York, and they'd just swap her back and forth every year? WTF

Is there some backstory I don't know about (from Private Practice, maybe) that would tell why none of Amelia's family wanted to come? If nothing else, they should want to come to see Derek's children.

Yes, but to me, at least, that entire Meredith monologue in the back room of the church with Amelia, it felt like Meredith was just going through the motions of what Amelia wanted to hear from her, especially because of what Amelia had just said. There ever wasn't a sense that Meredith was ever truly happy for Amelia.

Yeah, I don't understand. She was talking about summers (plural) and alternating Christmases so she's expecting Callie to stay there with Penny permanently?

The irony of Penny admonishing Matthew for his rude behavior and using her staggered-time advantage to put him in "timeout" for his bad behavior. Though I did enjoy Tyler's deadpan "You think so?" when Matthew boasted that he was the best chef. Because he is apparently the only one in the room that is a professional chef. Also Tyler's "you all suck so there's no winner this round" because I had the feeling that's what he wanted to say. I'm loving Tyler so far on this show. Neither him or Valerie really look too impressed with any of them. I loved Penny's total brain-fart during her video. HAHA!

So Meredith yells at Amelia for...marrying the man that her best friend divorced at least eight-ten years ago at this point? This weeks or months after Meredith screamed at Amelia before a surgery for having the audacity to, um, work neurosurgery at Grey-Sloan, do most of the raising of her children, and date Owen and be happy? Why exactly are we supposed to like Meredith?

How far away is that gallery from the OR that Jo had to run down stairs and through three or four hallways during her Super-Dramatic Running montage? "Just because you're unhappy doesn't give you the right to make everyone else unhappy." Go Alex. At least someone finally said it! Slow clap to Arizona for telling Callie where to stuff it. Has Callie even apologized for what happened at the trial? I can't imagine it's been very long since trial and already Callie wants favors? And, hey, it woud be nice if Callie showed half as much consideration for her daughter and Arizona than she did for reasoning out her breakup with Penny. Meredith needs to stop taking out all her bad feelings on other people. And WTF was that at the end with Riggs? It's too bad I never felt anything for Stephanie and Kyle's blink-and-you-miss-it romance. Oh, and April is suddenly full term next week despite looking no more than four or five months this week?

When they got to the hospital that pen was embedded at least halfway down into Dante's chest, but all we got was that neatly patched looking bandage that didn't even have fresh blood on it? That wound should have still been dripping blood, at the very least.

I would have eliminated Annoying Jane just for putting what looked like a pound of curry on her cake. That, and because in my mind I had mixed up cinnamon and curry and kept thinking the judges were all going to choke to death on her cake.

Yes, Martie! I always liked her and thought she got shafted just because she was on Team Alton and the stupid teams-have-to-be-even gimmick (even though she did make a pilot)
