Meredith didn't mean a word of that apology. She didn't think she did anything wrong.

Liz, it is SAD when Franco the SERIAL KILLER is more concerned about Helena's book and Jake's mental health than you are...
-
Sooo....Helena isn't dead? Because she had that painting made of the teacup to imply she knew that Nik poisoned her? And Liz needs to stop pretending she cares about what happened to Jake on Cassidine Island. She had her chance to ask Helena about it face to face when they were on Cassidine Island and she chose Jason and The Secret instead.

Tristan, your granddad has been battling a lung disease? I thought he'd broken his back, that's what you said last week. And if you've really been singing that song since you were eleven like you claim, shouldn't you know what it is about?

All-Star Academy - General Discussion
LexieLily replied to Meredith Quill's topic in All-Star Academy
For a second I wanted whoever won the challenge to bring back Jermaine, just to see how he would perhaps with a mentor that didn't hate him. I noticed Robert didn't ever pretend to entertain the idea of bringing him back. -
I kept waiting for something as good as Feeny's plant analogy re: Topanga being scared to go to New York, or "I love you all. Class dissmissed." Cory, Shawn and Topanga would never have acted as melodramatic as Riley, Maya, Lucas are.

Was there a reason the show spelled eyes wrong in the episode title? How is that guy supposed to walk with one leg in the center of his lower body? I don't want to see Meredith flirting with / giving her number to / dating guys.

Wasn't the last Lanie/Javi breakup for good because they didn't love each other enough to marry each other, or some such reason? And that was two years ago, wasn't it, so why is Lanie all "Don't tell Javi!" to Ryan about the boyfriend background check at the beginning? Are they, like, exes that sleep together now whenever either of them is lonely, or what?

I feel bad about cheering for a kid losing a job that might have been fun for him. But yay!

What a great idea, Lulu, counseling for you and Dante. You know when that would have been an even better and more effective idea? Before you signed seperation papers and got divorced based mostly on hurt and anger.

All-Star Academy - General Discussion
LexieLily replied to Meredith Quill's topic in All-Star Academy
Shut up, Robert, you aren't in the military anymore and Jermaine isn't one of your subordinate soldiers. It was telling that after the teams were done with the main challenge Andrew, Curtis and Alex were congratulating and hugging their cooks and Robert was in a corner yelling at Jermaine for not listening to him. Robert was so unenthused about Jermaine's jerk chicken getting better reviews than Natasha's dish. And did he seriously tell Jermaine "oh, you won. So what? Didn't help us"?? -
Dayplayer nurse with Jake cracked me up. They've even got the Shriner's staff doing the clunky in-dialogue PSA's. And I loved how she was so completely looking for the camera while she was saying her lines.

So, Sonny doesn't plan to give Avery back to Ava ever? That's nice.

All-Star Academy - General Discussion
LexieLily replied to Meredith Quill's topic in All-Star Academy
I'm not liking Robert's blatant favoritism for his girl team member and how he treats the male one. Anna on Andrew's team can be eliminated any time. She wants to monopolize Andrew's mentor-ship and gets bent out of shape when he even talks to Zoey (?). Maybe Anna and Robert's girl can be combined onto one team! -
Is it mean to say that I would eliminate Jenn Blosil tonight just on the basic of her glitter-attacked eyebrows?
-
Lulu. You work on a docked boat. Docked means it is sitting still. It won't move. So how about you SWIM TO IT and not flail around and drown and call weakly for Dante??
-
The funniest line today? Molly's response to Julian re, why didn't I marry you [Alexis] sooner? "Because you were a criminal and Mom had standards!" Oh, Molly, if your mother had standards about not getting romantically involved with criminals, she wouldn't have gone to bed with your uncle and married your father, neither you or Kristina or Sam would be here, and you and Kristina wouldn't be cousins as well as being sisters. Which I still think is strange. (Molly/Kristina being sisters and cousins and it's barely mentioned)

Meredith looks remarkably put-together and healed a month after her attack. It annoyed me that we had to hear about the aftermath of Alex's proposal from Meredith's therapy sessions. And I don't understand why they insist on continuing the carpool scenes when every adult is in the car and there's no sign or mention of Meredith's children or even a car-seat or two in the backseat.

Whyyyyy didn't Sam get to burn down Wyndameire??? The show doesn't get to have it both ways. They don't get to have Nik and Liz jumping around for a year scared of what will happen when the Jason secret finally comes out because everyone will hate them, and then have them both suffer no consequences. Liz got yelled at for five minutes by Sam and then Carly and eventually lost Jason, whoop-de-do. That would have happened anyway. And up until a few weeks ago Liz and Jake still got 75% of Jason's time because Not-Dead Jake staged everything for attention. Jake getting hit by a car and her house blowing up were both indirect consequences of her lie. Nik, who spearheaded the lie and tried to kill Hayden and tried to manipulate his balcony fall to get Jason jailed for attempted murder, gets to marry the woman he tried to kill and today was his and Sam's first interaction since the not-wedding. Sam got to tell her piece but then immediately gave in and did what Nik wanted her to do.

Aside from Dalton and maaaaybe Olivia Rox, everyone was totally underwhelming

Kids Baking Championship - General Discussion
LexieLily replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Kids Baking Championship
It's at the point where I love all of the kids so I'm super sad to see any of them eliminated, but I have to say I simultaneously aww'ed and cracked up when Peggy started to cry because her dough wasn't baking and time was running out, Duff went over presumably to check on her, noticed she was crying, and backed up and told Valerie to handle it! Hee! -
Nik lied because Liz begged him to, like he had no choice in the matter? Um, I'm going to need you to go back and watch your own show, Show. Nik already knew the night of the Nurse's Ball, when Liz found out. He was the one that told her!! He was already lying because he had it figured that money and getting control of ELQ for him was more important than his cousin's happiness. But whatever, Show. And also, Nik had the nerve to call Sam and ask her for a favor after he's shown no remorse whatsoever for how he's hurt her and Danny? WTF??
-
How did Liz get from the hospital to Wyndamiere so fast? Didn't Maxie say earlier this week when Nathan suggested that Lulu/Rocco stay there that Lulu would have to take the launch every time she wanted to go to work? Liz got to Wyndamiere from work in presumably the same amount of time that it took for Jason to put Danny to bed.

Well, Amelia had her thirty-day sober chip, so it was at least that long. (Didn't Amelia go out and get drunk the night of Meredith's attack?) Which begs the question, who was watching the kids for the last month? Alex?
-
It was a good episode, and maybe if I watch it again I could enjoy it for what it was. Because I spent most of the episode comparing it to Be Still My Heart/All In The Family
