So it's almost the same amount of time :(

How long was Robin kidnapped for for Kidnapping Number #1? It's been more than a year for this one, hasn't it?
-
If Patrick wasn't leaving, they would have dragged this on much longer, wouldn't they?
-
Well, I guess it's the same way we are supposed to buy that Sam wouldn't have dumped Patrick by now or be in any way torn between him and Jason, even a without-his-memories Jason.
-
And we are supposed to buy that?

I posted this in the media thread but figured it made sense here too. High gear? It's one week until December and the story isn't in any gear right now Soap Fans United @SoapFansUnited1 Nov 17 Per Varni on podcast, Patrick's exit story kicks into high gear early Dec w/ Robert & Robin heavily involved. #GH -

That actually makes me sad, I like Emma! But at least we won't have the story be that she got abandoned by both of her parents. And that also points towards a Scrubs family HEA (deserved or not) and Sam choosing Jason. -
Thanks. But Lucky did break out of it, eventually?
-
Can someone explain to me what Helena did to Lucky, how Lucky was able to "get out of it" (tm Sam) and how does that relate to Jason?

I know that has to be a typo, but LOL -

Robin did call Patrick "her husband" to the guard, for whatever that is worth. Are we assuming Robin was even the one to sign the divorce papers? Didn't Patrick send them to Crighton-Clark, now that he knew where she was? But after that Robin was chained to a wall in that room until Jason found her, I think. For all we know, Victor or Helena (Helena for...reasons, whatever) forged her signature or coerced Robin to sign. -

I didn't read that as that Carly would be leading the Brigade of the Liz Beatdown (can we make that into a parade?!) but that the secret will come out soon. Or sooner than 10 years. Lol. -
And they tape things six weeks in advance, right? So that would put Patrick's last aired show around Christmastime or early January?
-
We've gotten more quantity and more cordial Robin mentions from Sam than from Patrick.
-
Well, if their goal today was they meant to make Patrick look hypocritical and asshole-ish, as opposed to all the other times they don't mean to but he does anyway, they succeeded. He's whining to Carly that Sam ran off to help Jason and looking down on Sam AND Jason for running off into danger, forgetting that that's basically who Sam is. Patrick would never put her in that position...but didn't Sam and Patrick get started with all that adventure buddy crap when they went to Amsterdam and confronted Jerry Jacks and Fake Luke? He told Sam he understood that she had to go but it sounds like he's just going to hold it against her. She's helping Jason to help bring Danny his father back, Patrick. She's not just running off for the hell of it. "That doesn't mean she loves you or Emma any less." / "Yes, that's true, but that might mean she loves Jason more." You're just now figuring it out, Patrick?
-
Yeah, Amelia was so bad in that hallway confrontation with but Meredith was a bitch too
-
Um, I might be completely off-base, but were we supposed to infer Nathan Riggs is transgender? Because if so, didn't they basically do this exact same story two seasons ago with Ben?
-
Your option B might have made this story a lot better, actually. If they had started SamTrick after the "deaths" and skipped Sam/Silas and Patrick/Sabrina entirely.

I think I finally figured out why this whole Jason story bothers me, even though I of course want JaSam to find their way back to each other and Liz to get a HARD fall sooner rather than later. Everything around this story is SO overwrought and piled on top of each other, horrible thing after horrible thing. 1) The story starts with someone (Robin) getting kidnapped to jump-start the storyline 2) Not only is she kidnapped, but her family is in danger if she tells the truth 3) Not only is she in danger if she tells the truth, but months later the aforementioned kidnapper engineers a car accident to harm her husband and mother of his child, causing the death of a baby and potentially harm to her (Robin's) daughter 4) Not only that, she is kidnapped from the original kidnapping and chained to a wall once her work is done and Jason is alive 5) Not only that, but the day CC explodes, the kidnappee's mother and potential rescue is literally a door away but they don't find her 6) Not only that, but once the kidnappee and the one she saved escaped danger and made it back to safety, the kidnappee was kidnapped again and once again her family was threatened 7) Not only that, the one she saved made it all the way to the doorstep of a friend's house only to get taken again -- escaped the car only to get pummeled by a car on a ditch road 8) Fast forward some months. Not only is the amnesiac Jason Morgan in a new relationship, but his wife is too 9) Not only are they in new relationships but they both end up serious, just in time for the secret to be revealed 10) Not only is one relationship headed toward marriage but both are 11) Not only are both relationships headed toward marriage but it all comes out at one of the weddings 12) Not only did one person know the secret and refuse to tell for personal gain, but the woman Jason Morgan is going to marry knows as well, and is content to spend the rest of her life lying to keep the secret -- Actually, a good group of people know the secret and for a variety of reasons are willing to ruin a variety of lives in different ways to keep the secret 13) The original kidnappee that started this story is STILL kidnapped a year later and no one seems to care or notice And I am sure there's more and / or I'm forgetting things.

I have to assume the Robert stuff is directly correlated to whatever the Robin story is going to be, but if it's not for another month, Jason + Sam/Liz don't find her on Cassidine Island? -

And he won't have Liz after the truth comes out. Though, Patrick probably won't care about Jason and the fact that Liz did a morally reprehensible thing and was abnormally cruel to his fiancee, he'll just be mad that Liz cost him Sam. -

On another note, it makes me laugh so much that Sam learns where Jason is going and Liz has to piggy-back off her to find out info!
