What was the point of bringing Yaku back if they were just going to eliminate him without giving him a chance to do a pilot? Tregaye did a massive fail in her first round demo, and I still don't know what Food Fusion on Fleek is. It made me laugh when Monterey chose not to tell her that her corn cake was dry.

Nik flew out the window two days ago and I guess has been just chilling dead on the concrete since then. Sam is upstairs napping. Alexis is in PC surviving the whole almost-being-killed-by-her-husband thing. This whole Cassidines story on the island has no Cassidines in it.

RIC!! She won't listen, but I'm glad he finally got to tell Liz what a hypocrite she is and about Franco. Liz has no self-awareness about anything still being angry at Ric when she turned around and did essentially the same thing to Jason.

Sonny is a strong, courageous and loyal man, said by the woman whose son he shot in the chest. Who is also Sonny's son. Don't make me laugh, show. Who was Sonny being honorable and loyal to when he killed his middle son's biological father and then impregnated his other son's girlfriend? Because if I'm remembering correctly, Morgan and Michael and even Carly were remarkably nonplussed about that aspect of the Crypt! Sex. You know, aside from the part about them screwing on the grave of the man they had just murdered. I don't think that falls under "laying down your life for your family" guidelines.

"Beware of the craziness." Probably the most useful thing Damiano or anyone on FNS has ever said. Tregaye steamrolled over her husband in the first live stream challenge, TWO of her live stream questions were "what is fleek?" and "what is boo?" AND Tregaye basically gave a rude-ass answer to the question. None of that was brought up in her judging. I agree with Ana's assessment that for the right audience Tregaye would be good, but I don't think I could stand to watch a show of her. Damiamo, Jernard and Tregaye are now being bullies to Ana's face. Good look. [/sarcasm]

This storyline was so much better when Griff and the bullies wanted Shawn to break into the school and steal the test and Shawn ended up quoting the First Amendment at them. I don't know why the kids and Cory / Topanga / Katy are disappointed and shocked that Maya is out doing something bad when they have all been pushing her to it for weeks. (Months? Apparently it's been a year of HS already. Lol) Riley continues to act way under her age for someone who is supposed to be a freshman in high school.

Jay seems sweet but like he'd be exhausting to be in a kitchen with for more than five minutes. I see that this show hasn't figured out how to not insult home cooks and amateurs - Sam is clearly a pro because he knows how to cut watermelon safely and Jay setting the meat out to rest was "clearly a pro move"? I hear about letting meat rest at least once an episode on Chopped.

Did I somehow miss it when Tregaye's POV all of a sudden became food fusion? Also, I don't understand how it happened that she personally hates Ana. Giada must have a running scorecard where she personally docks Erin points when Erin doesn't announce she's a baker in every single presentation. And Giada's paste-on terrified wide smile that she had all of tonight's show freaks me out. Back it up, Tregaye, I'm pretty sure you made a crack about Erin's weight in her talking head during the presentation. That made me more uncomfortable than Jernard's Presentation-o'Porn. I did appreciate his apology, though. I thought Erin's cookie/cake was fine! A decadent guilty pleasure chocolate chip cookie doesn't have to be oozing chocolate to the point where you can feel the pimples popping out, Bobby. Her comments during judging were warranted. I didn't appreciate Tregaye talking down to her and telling her how to feel like she was a child.

Why are the adults in Maya's life reinforcing the idea that Maya being good = Maya's losing her identity!

It's Disney, so I suppose they can't go all the way with the truth that Shawn grew up in a trailer park with essentially half of a parent between Chet and Virna, and had to be taken in by the Matthews and Turner when Chet ran off. So we get this weird in-between with Maya and Katy when Katy is a neglective mother played for laughs, Maya is the female Shawn even though by all intensive purposes she has a much better life than Shawn ever did, and Shawn - Shawn! of all people! - doesn't take Katy to task for what her inattentive parenting is doing to Maya. Wasn't his entire crisis in the college years being afraid to be with Angela and having a future with her because he didn't want to be like Chet?

I don't think it's good for a show aimed toward tweenagers to hit us over the head with the point that the only qualities that define Maya are her bad behavior and her bad grades and because Maya is now evolving she is somehow deficient as a person. And the implied message that (Cory) and Riley, the good influences, "messed up" Maya (and Shawn). Shawn, of all people, should know that's untrue. Cory, Amy and Alan, Turner, Feeny (!), told Shawn over and over again that he was always so much more than trailer park trash. Cory and Shawn handshake!! The Topanga/Katy friendship is forced only because we've literally never seen it onscreen. Same goes for Shawn/Katy's entire relationship. I buy that Shawn loves being a father figure to Maya only a little more than I believe Shawn has deep loving feelings for Katy, which isn't much. What I got from Shawn's proposal was Shawn using that reckless spontaneity Cory said defined him, that Shawn wants what Cory/Topanga have and wants a family badly that he is forcing himself into the role. Notice how Shawn put Maya first in who he loved, not Katy. Also, shame on the writers for reducing Shawn and Angela to "[Shawn] trying to love her because he thought he was supposed to]."

As if I didn't think the PCPD could be any more incompetent, they just stand there and allow themselves to be (rightfully) railed at by Alexis' daughters and meanwhile Sonny, the town mobster, is the one to save Alexis and take the rap for her stabbing Julian with The Dagger. Because of course he does. When Molly called Kristina and then said she was going to call Ric, I suppose it would be too much to ask for to have Molly call her big sister. It's not like Sam would want to know that her mom has been kidnapped by her dad and is about to be murdered. These stories are all so isolated, it's so dumb. Does Alexis even know her nephew is "dead" and her daughter and (ex) son in law are on the run? I didn't think so. Which means she has no idea where her grandson is either. Why is Sonny covering for Alexis, anyway? Alexis clearly has a case for self-defense.

Alexis and Julian are connected forever because of this baby and that's never going to change? I thought they were already connected forever because of SAM, their first baby. Remember her?

It actually cracks me up how transparent Damiano is in his annoyance and disdain for all these stupid themed tasks. What is it with the semi-obsession Bobby/Giada/Random Third Judge/FN has with having to have personal anecdotes/stories every single time they present? Erin talking about how she was bullied as a child has nothing to do with her dessert. I don't think I know anything about Alton Brown's personal life and I like it better that way. Jernard was rude with his passive-aggressive constant drinking to "get through" the horror of working with Erin. I don't like Ana, but her food is consistently better and I was on Team Bobby 100% on that one, and I feel kind of sorry for her now that the other four hate her.

It is insane that basically two-thirds of the guys that got deals today are all going to making more, and sometimes up to twice as much as Steph Curry and James Harden.

Does the show just not care anymore or are they trying to make Anna be the most incompetent spy ever? WTF is Alexis wearing the wire on the outside of her shirt for?

Oh my god. Show Danny Morgan was born in a random motel room and kidnapped the same day. He wasn't back with Jason and Sam until the night Jason got shot on the docks and died. A newborn Danny wasn't in the hospital and Alexis wouldn't have a picture with Sam/Danny in a hospital room. Get it together, Show.

Joy's idea for edible art was to...make a smiley face out of bacon and fruit and macaroni hair? Isn't that something any mom or grandparent or babysitter ever has done for their kid?

I don't think I'd want to watch a show by any of these people. Except maybe Jernard, so with my luck he'll be voted out next.

Yeah, why can this PCPD only deal with one crime at a time? Shouldn't there be an APB out for Jason, considering he is a fugitive and there's an arrest warrant out for him? Once Jordan sent people out to his place and Sam's and they didn't find him, did Jordan just throw up her hands and be like "Oh well, we'll get to it when we get to it?"
