  1. OMG! Greg's C- reminded me of a professor I had in undergrad. Our first paper, he handed back to me with a C-. Not because the paper was bad or even moderate, but because, quote, "I expected more of out of you." Some 15 years later, when I decided to go for my masters degree, he wrote me a glowing review. I also never got anyting under an A-, be it paper or test, that sometimes had some multiple choice.
  2. Is this serious? Danielle adopted/took in foster children? Or are you being facetious?
  3. There were rumors that she was previously looking; she took another trip to...maybe it was Pakistan instead? But that (big) general area of the world and got stranded when she landed in the good ole USA, she had not a dime to her name and her brother had to come pick up her at the airport in DC (I think DC) and drive her home! It's speculated she did so to meet another potential love rat. This is the trip, I believe, where she took out a loan on her car's title to be able to go. All this drama has been a while and my brain has been totally fried, I may be mixing details as to when she took out the loan (and subsequently, didn't pay it back! So she lost her car) and took that second trip, but girl has been busy making sure lights get turned off, that her daughters have no water or food, and that they continue to get evicted. (How many times has she been evicted now since she started her bullcrap with Mo? 2-3+?)
  4. There is a jaw-dropping culture around Tunisian love rats and how they school each other to better play the game and include their families on every level of the scamming of it as well. It's ridiculous what the women allow and put up with, but also sickening what some of these men will do to con and get out of Tunisia. I can't speak for what I'd do if I lived in a country like that, but I'd like to think it wouldn't be conning people. Desire aids people in doing crazy things.
  5. Okay, back last winter, lord, could I have spilled some tea! I was active in a now-defunct FB group that had all the deets on Mo and Danielle (some former cast members were part of the group, some were hoppin' mad they were the subject of fodder and posted all kinds of crazy stuff online retaliating toward the group, it was a clusterf of crazy!. I was also active on Twitter about this mess and used to tweet with some former 90 Day "stars" as well as interact with fans who had the 411, and there was PLENTY. If you knew all of the financial devastation Danielle put herself and her daughters through just to get Mo here (and then, to take a return trip to that area of the world with a friend, only to not even have the money to get home once she landed at an airport in the US; that trip was financed by getting a title loan on her car, FYI;), you would crap a cow. Mo has had a couple of love interests in Canada, one some older-looking woman/possibly trans? person; one he was talking about opening a business with, and probably more too, but those two I know of. He had one in NC. Luisa in SC. The NY Mistress. And it seems, countless others ready to drop their panties and bank accounts for him. REDONKULOUS! *sigh* kind of makes me miss that FB group, but then again, I got so sucked into the hole of gossip and backstories, I spent shameful amounts of time immersing myself in it. I suppose there are worse habits, like heroin or importing men I can't afford. Anywho... OH! And Danielle also had a rabid fan from FL who would dig up very private info on anyone that dare even said something that could be construed as slightly less than glowing...and would blast them! Calling their children's schools, their places of work, blasting them on social media...this was a married woman who felt Danielle was just dealt an unfair hand and went to the extreme. MY LORD, the Internet just shows how CRAZY this world can get. Pull up a chair for a front row view of the freak show!
  6. Okay, I got lost somewhere (probably in only half-watching, somewhat listening and doing 90,000 other things while this is on, I can't not multi-task), but did Prince Wannabe AliNigerianAbabwa actually ever have a child/significant other from Alabama? Was the lie that he used to live there? He's never lived in the states, right? Alabama was/was not a made up trip to Crazy Town by this fool with the s- eating grin? How did Alabama factor in? (DUH, of course he never lived in Alabama, I'm guessing he's never been to the states?) Thanks for the help and reading this poorly executed excuse for a post!
  7. PLEASE say it, I love the opinions! Also, to the person that noted Asan uses a relaxer, yep, I was thinking so, or flat irons his hair, yep, definitely does something to flatten it, the texture of his hair looks closer to Chantel's than say, Mo's.
  8. I thought shots of the box with the ring in it showed two rings, a plain looking band and the engagement ring. I imagine things sometimes, though, so who knows. I kept looking at her hand waiting to see if he had given her both rings and when I only saw one on her hand, I chalked it up to my eyes seeing things or my mind remembering stuff that wasn't there.
  9. Back in episode 1/2, when Chantel was talking to her family, I thought she clearly had on an engagement ring, perhaps on the opposite hand or the (American) traditional hand and I was wondering if her parents thought she wore that just to keep guys away (LOL, or at least that would be Chantel's story!). I kept waiting for them to ask her about it.
  10. I did love how encouraging and kind Anne was to Mindy, reminding her that hey, you just learned this...and it's so true. She only just saw it from an instructional point of view, and straight-out-the-gate, attempted it. Good on her and what nervous conditions to attempt it under.
  11. BTW, LOVE Julie's new haircut, but her grammar needs a reboot.
  12. I was annoyed by tons in "Crowning Around" but nothing more than the lumbersexual stripper. Men, can we shave our faces instead of trying to look like Yukon Cornelius?! Yep, personal preference, and I"m going to -itch about it. What is with this unkempt movement?! This show has gone to total s---, can't stand any of it any more.
  13. The fiance looked like an Asian...Lauren Graham? That long face and small nose had be double-taking wondering which dark haired, fair skinned American actress she so strikingly resembled. "We're the white people of here!" hilarious! And, yes, the customs form was a "win", soo funny! Great first episode and it's really cool they actually filmed abroad. I thought the brother (Gene) was gay in the show?! Or that was hinted at? I must be losing my mind. "Ghost" being popular there at that time (is it 1996 in the show?) was funny because American movies/trends usually reach other countries much later, especially pre-common Internet days.
  14. It reminded me of Pam/Charmaine's earrings on The Cosby Show (and 80's /early 90's big gold earrings in general). Loved them!
  15. I just think he is trying to do the "lumbersexual" movement..poorly. Interesting theory. There are Jewish adherents in NC, just not (usually) large pockets of them. Which doesn't mean he couldn't be, I just hadn't considered that. Interesting.
  16. All of this and the other comments about weight in this episode. Mixon is gorgeous..even the other "fatter" almost neighbor was very pretty (I hate seeming like we're justifying beauty/weight, gosh, they are pretty women, weight not a factor!).
  17. I don't want to argue sizes, and regardless of size, Katy is beautiful and funny, however, I'd be shocked if she was just a 12-14 now, but I admit I have skewed self-perceptions on size. She may well be a representation of "medium" to average-ish American woman size (of course, depending on where you live). She is bigger without being the size of the woman/potential neighbor she drove off. Added, I don't feel she's "fat", though I guess it's all relative?!
  18. Fascinating! Thank you for sharing. How neat that he's built his own empire out of that, I am sure it's taken many, many hours of work to get to the comfortable place he is now.
  19. It's painfully uncomfortable to watch Nicole.
  20. Is there an article online about this? Since the Tell All probably won't air until December, can links to what's being referred to here be shared? I've searched 90 Day Tell All 2016 but haven't turned up anything.
  21. That jewelry store...I checked out their online inventory and prices, HOLY COW, they have some expensive pieces for how dirty and costume-y they look, wow! Definitely has that "pawn shop" look to them, which I don't know how to explain other than dirty gold, fake-looking gemstones, and cloudy, crappy, cheap-looking diamonds (for the most part, I am sure the site has exceptions). It just screams "pawn shop style jewelry" to me. How far away do they store their dirty, greasy, road debris strewn tires from the jewelry? Looks like cross-contamination, or just what you'd get when you look at pawn store jewelry. Do I make an iota of sense?
  22. According to this site, the various online accounts attributed to Azan are poorly constructed fakes, presumably (as some here have also theorized) by Nicole. Desperate and crazy are two extremes that know no bounds (post #1129 on the linked page). http://www.lipstickalley.com/showthread.php/1071840-TLC-s-90-Day-Fiancé-Season-4-Starts-August-22nd/page76
  23. It's that hideous faux-hawk-rat-tail, which it looks like he lost since their season on 90 Day? UGH. And something else I can't place but he looks like he wears Hammer jam pants, huge-armed Hurley tanks in neon colors, and lots of god awful aftershave/faux cologne. Eww. Pao gets on my nerves, I can't decide how I really feel about her, except annoyed. Those hideous white shades she sported at the beach with her gf's last week were nothing short of a #fail...MISTAKE!
