  1. I tried. I really tried. But I just can't with this show; removed from my scheduled recordings. I'll stick with the Bachelor/Bachelorette.
  2. I really like Lori and Monte, and Lori's son in the few times we've seen him. But her daughter is a raging bitch; if we were expected to like her and laugh at her antics, the show was sorely mistaken. Couldn't stand her at all.
  3. Hate *hate* hate the Towers of Power or whatever the eff they call themselves. They seem like total meatheads and I howl every time either one of them fails.
  4. I was really happy to see someone on national TV admit that she doesn't want children. It's so rare to see someone admit it; but of course she got dumped immediately afterward.
  5. Wow did I ever want to slap the groom of the latest episode. Shut up Ryan.
  6. Oh I hate her dress. It was so ugly. I'm not a big Linda fan (pun not intended). She seems like she's trying so hard all the time to be cute and quirky and fun. It was sweet that both her dad and his dad walked her down the aisle though. And I love his mom; her sobbing during the vows was adorable. I keep forgetting that Drew and Jonathan went to school in a suburb about half an hour from me. I recognized a couple of the teachers that were at the welcome dinner, which was disconcerting.
  7. I hated the mom in the last episode. I felt sorry for the bride when her mother catapulted off the couch and dragged her from the room hissing "How dare you" and such. What a harpy.
  8. It took me a little while to figure out who the Kid reminded me of. Sadly, it's the Boston Marathon Bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
  9. Yeah I would have gotten that removed a long time ago personally... And I say that as someone with a mole on my upper lip that is nowhere near as prominent.
  10. Couldn't stand Peggy. What the hell is a "pharma-tress" or whatever the eff she called herself? I love Nate, Jeremiah and Poppy; otherwise I would have skipped this episode completely. Also, grow up. That swing fixation was stupid.
  11. I cannot stand Mijune Pak. She's not a chef, she's a blogger and not even a very good one. I hate that she's a judge on this show; my husband knows when I'm watching it because I start yelling "Shut Up Mijune" or "you aren't even a chef!" every time she speaks. I wanted Felix back on the show just because he's from Vancouver and his restaurant looks interesting. I hope he cooks better there than he did on this show.
  12. I AM SO EXCITED! That is all. I just re-read all three books in one week and I love them. Can't wait to see how it translates to screen, even though few of the characters look like they do in my head.
  13. Without even waiting for the chyron I knew the girl with purple hair was the one from Dawson Creek. Teeny tiny little town with nothing better to do than experiment with your looks. Or drugs, but I assume it's just her looks she's experimenting with.
  14. So you're not going to a wedding because the couple is living together and has children already? I don't understand that reasoning; couples who live together and have a child prior to the wedding are still deserving of a wedding if they want one (and can pay for it themselves). Are you expecting your grandchildren to ask you to pay for their weddings? (re: your comment about spending all your money on your daughter's wedding). That thought would have never occurred to me as I was planning my wedding but I'd like to think I'm nowhere near as ridiculous as many of the brides on this show. My grandmother attended and gave us a lovely gift from our registry but there's no way I would have asked her to pay a single cent toward the wedding costs.
  15. Couldn't stand her the first time and had no interest in seeing her again. I kept saying "stop snivelling, you're a f*****ng adult woman" every time she burst into tears. This time was no different.
  16. Stella! I wish they would use her in more episodes, I love her.
  17. Do you? I thought that was only in high school; I certainly didn't have to take a language for my journalism degree (in Canada). Then again, I guess it could be assumed that journalism majors are just fine with English. I was just excited to see a little kid get a haircut. My niece is 5 and a half and still hasn't had a haircut. She looks like a ragamuffin all the time because you can't even get a brush through it anymore due to the split ends.
  18. You've just described me. I'm not a touchy feely person AT. ALL. The only three people I hug without being forced are my husband, my grandmother and my niece, and I cannot sleep with people touching me. It's probably a good thing we're child-free because I would probably throw a kid out of bed if they tried to sleep on me. So I don't blame Austin for not wanting Joy all up in his business all night. I would hate it too.
  19. Thank you! That cutesy squeaky thing that I see a lot of Japanese and Chinese women do drives me bananas. I can't stand Yuki.
  20. I ... don't think this woman is talking about Ashley. I think she's referring to the side piece.
  21. I'm not. The mom had put hundreds of thousands into the business while the daughter had seemingly contributed not a single cent, and she and her husband were getting money out of it while her mom got nothing. They deserved the smackdown.
  22. That poor dog. Doga instructor's mom looks like she's had a stroke or something similar; her face and lips didn't seem to move normally.
  23. The new scoring system is the same as it was on Four Weddings Canada so it wasn't as much as a surprise. I haven't watched Four Weddings in several years but I look forward to it this summer. I miss the crazy of the strangers but I like Four Weddings no matter who it is.
  24. This. Italian food is my favourite cuisine, and I really miss his recipes and his input. Plus I've actually eaten at some of his restaurants and found them to have some of the best food I have ever eaten. I do not miss Daphne; I couldn't stand her.
  25. I loved the dress but I don't think it looked good on her at all. It overwhelmed her completely, and she herself bored me stiff.
