Well, my husband and I are the only ones in our place and have no plans to have kids, but having more than one shower is a must in our next house. We entertain a lot and often have guests who stay overnight, and I wouldn't be comfortable with having them coming into our master bedroom to use the facilities. It depends on the layout of the house, for sure, but just the request to have more than one shower is not a strange one.
