Like others, I don't care for ITBT OR SOY. My wish list is for My Sweet Audrina, and the Heaven series, at least up until the last book, to appear on TV, soon. Especially Heaven,it's the best book out of every book ever written by the real Ms. Andrews. Having said all of that, I will surely tune in next weekend, and any other weekend that bring V. C. Andrews books to life.

*Gets on soapbox* As someone who has been morbidly obese all of my life and have suffered from NO co-morbidities, except for painful knees that was relieved by ibuprofen. Not to mention, I also smoked. No high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, in fact I've alwaybeen known as fat and healthy, and a mystery, but not unheard of by the doctor's. I am now 40, I am not as morbidly obese, and I quit smoking more than 7 years ago. I've slowly lost a lot of weight, and I still don't suffer from any of the HBP or diabetis. Everyone fat isn't unhealthy, and everyone skinny isn't healthy.

That was funny. I don't believe that TPH and TH have script control. Does TPH wear Spanx, yes, but so what. I'm not sure about the jealousy. As far as TH being jealous of Yoba, I don't know. They would've done better saying that Yazz was jealous of Jussie.

...Who would've sang Lucious' big hit with Juicy J while Lucious was being carted off to jail? They could've came up with a better storyline. I think they wanted to use Jennifer on the soundtrack, and the song with Juicy J is one of my favorites, but that storyline didn't make any sense.

I don't believe it either. Mainly because I've never heard of him being on drugs. Ever. I'm not a huge Malik Yoba fan, but I do read celeb gossip. I also don't buy that he was killed because he outed Jussie. TH outed Jussie first, and Jussie stated that he was never in the closet. I think they just wanted Malik Yoba off the show.

I found it. Damn. I hope he gets cleaned up, and can come back from the dead.

Fox is tired of losing viewers between their long season hiatus'. I have the soundtrack on my Spotify, I'm also going to purchase a copy. I believe in supporting what I like, and I like Empire.

Can we please call the city that Empire is filmed in by it's real name. Chicago! I get so tired of them calling my city NYC. Now that I've thought about it, Cookie, and Hakeem are both very wrong for not supporting Jamal. Especially Cookie. We know that Andre has always felt as if he was entitled to run Empire, but Cookie...come on. Once again, Lulu! Lucious had to not hear that! I think that TH sang in that key on purpose for that song with Jamal/Jussie. I think it was used to highlight the angel/good evil/devil aspect of Father and son. Either way, I loved it! This is Timbaland's best music in years. JHud isn't the greatest actress, and her singing gets on my nerves. I was ready to call the TV medical licensing board on her ass for last episode, but damn if she didn't do her thing on that song with Juicy J! It's on heavy rotation! I wonder if TH had it in his contract not to perform much, and Jamal and Hakeem had it in theirs to perform every episode. I would love to see more of the old Lucious Lyon performances. What made him famous. Can't TPH sing? I know she sang in Hustle and Flow (I don't think I've ever watched that movie. I don't like TH), will she sing more? Lastly, damn you Empire for making like TH just a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, bit. I've spent years avoiding everything that he appears in. Because of TPH, I watched Empire, and I stayed because of Jamal. I don't think Cookie is particularly bright. After Wednesday night, I fucking love the shit out of Lucious. He made amends, and I really think that he means right by Jamal. Please redeem Cookie.

I'm sad to admit that I play Drip Drop, Conqueror, the song with TH and MJB, Good Enough, the 2nd version of You're so Beautiful, and Nookie Thang on the regular. Now I have to add the songs from the finale. I have never liked TH. Empire has made me like him and his music.

I love Cookie, but she overplayed her hand. She pissed off Lucious before she had papers in hand. I'm team Jamal, therefore, I'm team Lucious. I always saw the danger in Jamal, he's his Father's son. Hakeem is more of a poser, Andre is caught up in his feelings of being left out, and Jamal has been told by Lucious to act tough all of his life. The balcony move did surprise me though. She could've owned Empire if she had played her cards a bit closer to her chest. Backing some wack ass rapper to take over Empire? No Cookie, no! I'm so glad Derek and his stupid ass part in the middle of his fugly hairdo is gone. What a way to ruin a handsome face. Hakeem and Anika shocked me. I never thought either would stoop so low. Jamal should be madder than him after the events of last episode. Andre, damn son, you sure found and lost God fast. Don't play like that. You know you were sniffing after JHud. Giving Cookie the pillow was epic. That's another instance of Cookie not being on point. I do give my girl kudos for not snitching. I loved Lucious not having ALS, loved his laugh, loved his gift giving, and really loved his laugh at the end of the episode. I like Cookie, but as I stated above, she's not as smart as she thinks. She was made a fool in almost every instance. You're always supposed to do your homework. She's working with Andre, after he played her? She overplayed too damn fast. Plain and simple. Now she's teaming up with Anika, Hakeem, and Andre afagainst Jamal and Lucious. She will lose, and I hope that she does. I haven't known nothing since Y2K...Lulu! Oh Porsha.

That scene was so powerful, notonly as a Black woman, but as a victim of rape and incest. If this episode doesn't get an Emmy, I don't know what's wrong with them. The way Annaliese, I won't call her Anna Mae because I understand leaving behind a name that was attached to hurt; reverted back to the scared little child, Viola Davis is amazing. Did I hear her Mom say that Annaliese was hurt as a child, and that could be the reason she never had kids? When Cicely Tyson stated how many times men had "took sex" from, my heart broke. There was a time when rape and incest were the norm. Annaliese went to Sam for counseling for rape, and he said all tgethe right things to heal/make her feel better, and she married him. Was he rescuing her? Did she fall out of love? Obviously she loved him enough to marry him. I would love to know what went wrong. She knew that he was a cheat. What's the deal with Bonnie and Annaliese?

Wow. I thought Cicely Tyson and Viola Davis were wonderful together. I think Cicely Tyson did a great job giving Annaliese a in depth background. The scene where she talked about killing Annaliese rapist was very powerful. Nate must be set free. Soon, and he must be shirtless. I still don't trust Rebecca. Why is she tracking Scooby's phone? I'm happy for Asher and Ms. Winterbottom! I'm happy that Connor seems to be growing up!

The best cover of A Change is Gonna Come is R. Kelly's live version. Aretha Franklin covered Son of a Preacher Man, Say a Little Prayer, and Let it Be better than the original IMO. No one can top Aretha's Ain't no Way, however Kelly Clarkson comes very very close. I'm still perplexed by Elton John's To be Young, Gifted and Black cover. It's so weird. Joe Crocker had the best cover of all times with A Little Help from my Friends.

I haven't given up on recreceiving my book before summer. I am happy to read the opinions of others though. Summer seems so far away, I may have to look into another source, or see if there are LHotP fans in my area. Don't judge me! I'm hoping I'm the only LIW fan in a 50 mile radius. I want that book!
