I get the most enjoyment out of watching the camera work when the hosts are demonstrating crafts. In order to show off what they're doing clearly, they have to pretty much work upside down while the craft faces away from them. I'm not even sure they'd be able to do this stuff right side up and facing them but it cracks me up how they quickly cut away from the close ups the second it starts turning into a mess. Then the host quickly substitutes a finished product from under the table that was clearly done by someone else. How easy is that?!?

I think I was a wee bit facetious but I did try St. John's Wort during an especially difficult time. I really don't know if it was effective and if it was, whether it was psychosomatic.

Every year a local TV station used to show The Nutcracker and that was my wrapping background movie. My family no longer exchanges gifts (which is awesome) so I only had to prepare two packages. I just started the book so I guess I can't comment from a factual point of view but some families just aren't that close emotionally. Even now in the time of planes, trains and automobiles, my mother only saw her siblings every several years and did not attend their funerals. No bad blood, just not that into each other.

I think the only reason she was on the show was to advertise being Mrs. Claus to prospective employers and the only reason she made it onto the show with her borderline skills was because she was Mrs. Claus.

I was pretty pissed that they didn't announce the swap at the beginning of the time slot. My beloved TiVo was recording away because ABC didn't want to share this schedule change. I checked On Demand this morning hoping they would hide it there but no dice.

I would also prefer another woman and I'd be perfectly happy with the head food stylist (Jackie?) that has popped up on a couple shows recently. Meanwhile, I think they can re-run plenty of shows aired in the past minus Mario as he was frequently absent anyway.

It cracked me up when the judges said they wish that Ian had added some silver color to his dessert and he immediately whipped around while Stephany meekly said, "Sorry!".
