If I'm ohtani I'm having the surgery as soon as possible. The Angels have nothing to play for and Trout is probably not going to play again this season . He has his future to keep in mind no use putting off the inevitable. If he's not pitching next year he could be back by the start of the season. Bryce Harper had UCL surgery at the end of November and was back by May 2nd . He wasn't full strength and only DH but he came back. He also played most of last year with the tear without causing more damage (aside from the time missed from the broken thumb after being hit by a pitch) so if Ohtani wanted to he could still dh but what's the point.

I haven't read any of the books but I'm curious about I wonder how much different the brothers are in the book than the show. Is conrad this much of a drip in the books or is it acting choices. I don't think Christopher Briney is a particularly good actor and is not very charismatic were Gavin Casalengo has a ton of charisma . I went on Reddits subreddit for (I believe) both the show and the books and they seem hardcore Conrad stans for the most part. I haven't really seen any reason on the show I should be rooting for Conrad and Belly (other these self absorbed twits away from other people)

It was an awesome game. It was Lorenzen's home debut as the Phillies traded for him last week. On top of that Weston Wilson made his major league debut today and hit a home run is his first at bat. Both of those are pretty uncommon occurrences on their own but I wonder what are the odds of both happenings in the same game. And if that wasn't enough excitement for the game Nick Castellanos hit his 200 career home run.

The Phillies finally won a series vs the Mets. It wasn't pretty but I'll take it. Speaking of Mets vs Phillies I wonder when the London Series tickets go on sale for next year. I may start saving now it looked like it was a lot of fun.

Even as a Jersey girl OCNJ is not where I would go on a girl trip. I love it but it's marketed as a family resort and is a dry town. Not to say you have to drink to have fun but it's also nice to be able to go to dinner and have a glass of wine or something.

WTF is wrong with this Ump? Did JT say something about his Mom or something? The Blue Jays broadcast team speculated that because the ump threw it back to the pitcher the last pitch so when JT didn't feel it in her a glove he probably thought he was doing it again and pulled his glove down. At least it was a spring training game but unless JT said something that warrants the ejection this Ump had way to quick of a ejection.
