He's in disguise!

This was the moment when they lost me with Darhk. If he was an uncaring bastard all around since the beginning, fair enough. But there were explicit 'daughters are not to be touched' vibes early in the season, which people doubted were prompted by his own daughter and that was confirmed in 409. And now he doesn't give a crap that she's out there and will die? They should have played it as Malcolm erroneously telling him she died with Ruve.

He's clean shaven and looking both young and not like himself. Here's a pic with his mom after the premiere.

I ran across a link to a Facebook live thing with him and Will Arnett on Twitter yesterday. So he's doing some promotion at least. The green dress was very cute. Who even knows if the child stayed the whole time. She's still very young, I don't know whether she'd manage to keep still in a movie theater for two hours. I don't know, I just suppose it's a kid film, so is it really any worse than a feature cartoon?

@wonderwall's post reminded me of a 409 gifset I saw on Tumblr recently. It's a parallel of Felicity's reaction to Oliver's, "I was going to propose", to his reaction to her, "I chose this life and I chose you". It wonderfully highlighted their sense of wonder that they got the other person. I can't find it now for the life of me, but it's excellent, so if anyone else has better luck and would bring it over, please and thank you.

Which only confuses me more since the cities are apparently far enough away to warrant regular flights, yet there is no closer prison facility to CC. It's not your fault, it's the universe's. Maybe I'm just supposed to forget Dinah's S1 Easter egg and assume they are closer to one another than I assume.

This is probably a silly question, but why isn't the Central City prison equipped for metas? Since it's the city that actually has a problem with them.

I've been thinking about this. What could he mean? Last year Oliver prayed for Ra's after killing him, wanted to get to know the person he had become if Felicity went with him, he said goodbye to Dig and Thea, handed over the ring to Malcolm and rode off into the sunset with Felicity. So what could look the same? Donna and Lance driving off, team members once again saying goodbye, Oliver and Felicity being on their own, only this time in SC, not on the road? Oliver once again asking something of Felicity or maybe this time she asks something of him? There better not be another reveal of working with Malcolm. I'm not in favor of Oliver giving another big bad a respectful send off, but I'm afraid it's inevitable, especially after his promise to Ruve in 422. You don't owe evil people respect, man.

I very much enjoyed the first season, but the book spoilers make me wishful that they do some fine tuning on some developments. I don't think certain things will read very well to the modern audience.

This is why I very much doubt that Felicity helps to launch them. The math is simple enough for Arrow writers here, let alone her.

Thanks for the exhaustive report. It's wonderful you had a great time but that reads like a really full schedule. Kudos for powering through. So, what is the origin of the fart joke? Oliver keeping a journal was SA's idea? How did I miss this? I'm going to have to disagree with DR here. While I certainly think Willa has a lot more to offer than what she's getting now, she doesn't really have the presence for the big bad. At least not yet. But a woman big bad, or a recurring bad, like Deadshot, yes, please. Brandon Routh really sounds very sweet by all accounts.

Does Cisco know anything about magic? What I know of Flash I know from the Mind Your Surroundings thread, but I didn't get that impression.

I totally agree. Maybe it's also because of my wish to see such everyday scenes interspersed every now and then. I particularly enjoyed the part about Oliver working out because, boy, did he eat a lot of food. And Dig just stays ripped. Hee.

I really wish someone who purchased the other two photo ops wold post their pic. I wonder what poses they asked for.

I think it was 45 minutes in the end. Handling 155 people still sounds like a lot.

I think I saw a red suit jumping from the platform and tackling someone in the lair, so that's Thea. And Dig is in the photos with Lyla and GA during the night attack. Now, I'm not sure where he is during the day when Oliver is inspiring the populace. Felicity and Curtis are obviously hanging out at a roof at this point with Curtis fending off missiles with a barcode scanner. I have no proof one way or another, but I don't expect him in the finale.

5) I don't watch either of their shows but BR and DP look good next to each other. And their characters have messed up enough romantic histories that they may be kind to each other.
