I had 201 on yesterday as background noise (so fun) and now I'm hoping Oliver and Felicity go get Dig back in the premiere. I'm not sure how it would work given that he's in the army (he's married to the head of ARGUS, surely something can be arranged), but we've had Felicity and Dig go get Oliver in season 2, and Thea and Laurel get Oliver and Felicity in season 4. It could be nice to have them do the same for Dig. It also made me idly wonder where Oliver will be running to. A town hall meeting or a function he's late for? I'm counting on the writers having him win the election pre-season, even if they have him step down later on, so I hope they let him be competent since this is the first job he's actually wanted.

I still stand by what I said about this being a storyline that would have served a crossover. Save for LoT, the scheduling would even work with the fall premiers. You start with the Flash, then move on to Arrow, then to Supergirl. I am just superweary about the crossover happening mid-season this year. They are basically tonally off for the shows and either have no lasting impact on ongoing storylines (last year) or a really sucky one (this year). So personally, I would prefer it not stopping the forward momentum come December. I am, however, aware that they are used as a ratings boost, so there's no escaping that.

With the Bratva this year, which to my limited knowledge is patriarchal, I think having a Lady Macbeth villain would be an excellent move to be revealed later in the season. Done right, it could parallel Malcolm's and Slade's reveals. This is what I was hoping for after Ruve's first appearance, but then I didn't really like her in the role later on so I dropped it. Better to keep expectations low, though, since I was completely, 100% convinced that Thea would be crucial in taking down DD. We all know how that went.

Considering the books, that's really saying something.

Where did they go wrong? I don't watch the show but have read the books, so I'm curious.

I missed Oliver talking to the people he was fighting so much this season. To go back to halcyon days of, "What color are your shoes?" Those little things were so much fun.

Universal language. :)

I've never seen this photo. Wow. What could have been.

I guess Jason doesn't realize that the story and the props aren't really the actors' domain.

I just take it as her not being comfortable posing for photos. When people aren't comfortable, they tend to freeze and end up looking odd. Yours truly included.

Would someone please give this woman a hot oil treatment?

What missed oppurtunity for a conversation with Laurel does one of the interviewers mention? I didn't catch that part. SA should steal her answer about Oliver in Ivy Town, it's really good. It reminded me of someone saying how even 401 happy go lucky Oliver ran with purpose. Her bringing up the massive consequences in case they stayed in Ivy Town. Namely, the world would have gone boom.

@apinknightmare, ditto. Who is he anyhow?

But nothing on screen indicated that Donna had an inkling about the whole kid debacle. I took the pistachio comment in the bee episode as confirmation of that. So it wouldn't be Donna guessing about Oliver/Felicity/GA triangle when she's fully in the know about that whole disaster.

Felicity tells Donna she's been working with GA for years in 4x22. They never reveal Oliver's identity to Donna and I think I remember CR talking only about Donna learning of Felicity's involvement in interviews.

What I got from @EmeraldArcher is that there should be an inobtrusive moderator who would engage only when necessary. A guest starts checking their phone during their panel? Yes, lady in blue, you have a question? So they would just be there to refocus the guest. Maybe that was the way things worked in Paris, I honestly don't know. But from what I've read (mostly here), the biggest transgression in my eyes is the behaviour during the group panel in which they apparently excluded the audience and acted clique-y.

Never having been to a con and not planning on changing that, the EmeraldArcher Con sounds really good.

Honestly? No idea. I saw the tweet, googled the thing and posted the link.

Why can't any of these people sit normally?
